Re: End to water fluoridation
I'm not sure this petition does anything... I signed it a few days ago and I registered with my address and my work e-mail. It was 549 signitures. Today I did the same again with home e-mail it is still the same number...
I bet this does not even go up in number!!!! I alo did a search as it lists all recent signatures and my name isn't on the list, probably on another list though! What better way for us to think we are doing something by mailing our MP or signing a petition they will bin... |

Re: End to water fluoridation
Yup
Swanny- fluroide is NOT added in all of the UK's mains water supply, however some areas have a naturally high level of fluoride (obviously not hexafluorosilic acid). The north east was the first to get the fluoridation. Places like cumbria have reservoir water which is not currently fluoridated but they will be soon.... Ireland also has many fluoridated areas but these are primarly large towns/cities. A very large percentage of housing in Ireland has private water supplies. |

Swanny
Berkey water filters are supposed to be one of the better ones on the market. Their PF-4/2 filters remove fluoride depending on the model you purchase. http://www.preparedplanet.com/Berkey...nd%20Info.html How to Reduce Fluoride Exposure http://chemistry.about.com/od/chemis...vefluoride.htm Fluoride, Aspartame and Agenda 21 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sd_Mg...eature=related Re Aspartame: Sweet Misery -A Poisoned World http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...22170441334340 Last edited by honeybee; 11-04-2008 at 02:02 PM. |

Re: End to water fluoridation
Dear Members,
I don't use toothpaste for the past ten years. I don't even use an electric brush. But I brush with water several times a day whenever I feel the buildup of plaque inside my mouth. I have no gum disease, no cap, and no root canal ever. I see my dentist twice a year for cleaning and say no-thank-you to the mega-fluoride foam treatment. According to one Chinese study, fluoride lowers the children's IQ by approx. 5 points. Fluoride is also similar to (in terms of chemical compounds) one of the active ingredients found in Prozac. -feeler EDIT: BTW I floss before bed. Last edited by feeler; 11-10-2008 at 06:25 PM. |

Re: End to water fluoridation
From the quote above, it's important to note the difference between many different types of "fluorides".
Fluorine is a very reactive element and usually exists in a form bonded to other elements. Eg- Calcium fluoride, Sodium Fluoride etc. Calcium fluoride is the type commonly found in rocks. Sodium fluoride is commonly found in toothpaste. Hexafluorosilicic acid is what is added to mains water. It's important to know the difference. The first one your body can handle quite well in small doses. The second one your body can cope with provided you are only exposed to it very rarely and in tiny doses. The third will kill you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexafluorosilicic_acid There it is for all to see, "Main Hazards= Toxic, Corrosive" http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/ipcsneng/neng1233.html The CDC! "INGESTION Burning sensation. Abdominal cramps. Vomiting. Shock or collapse." "ENVIRONMENTAL DATA This substance may be hazardous in the environment; special attention should be given to aquatic organisms." Here are the instructions for delivery drivers to wear full body chem gear when delivering at Darwin dam, Australia... http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache...lnk&cd=1&gl=ie Read it and weep...."its the truck drivers responsibility to..." LOL!!! Oh and not forgetting this little snippet which never made it into any decent newspapers at the time, let alone TV- http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/...ooper-bay.html |

Re: End to water fluoridation
Just like all the blurb on the water companies sites that try to justify mass medication.
As I pointed out earlier, I get my water from the ground. It's practically mineral water, no nasty chemicals needed. No fancy filtration system needed. It's not the immediate effect of fluoride or arsenic etc that bothers me, it's the long term effects and possibly cumulative effects on our children. Medical science is ALWAYS right...until a hundred years or so later, then it's "oh gosh look how archaic things were then!! They actually used leeches and drilled holes in peoples heads!" Sigh.... |

Re: End to water fluoridation
Some good info here:
Christopher Bryson has a great book on flouridation, it's about 13 bucks on Amazon: <http://www.amazon.com/Fluoride-Deception-Christopher-Bryson/dp/1583227008> And here's a link to a google video regarding some of his findings: <http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4504021945864152566&hl=en> Very enlightening. Ya can't build a Ground Crew if ya can't think straight. |
