Gulf Oil CEO says gas could hit $1 next year
Greeting's Avalonian's,
Gulf Oil CEO says gas could hit $1 next year. This could indicate good news, for the New England region of the US and Eastern Canada's> oil and energy cost. http://www.patriotledger.com/busines...s-prices-ahead |

It would crucify the Saudis, though. Bring them right to their knees and ruin their economy. Interesting games we see being played. If anyone didn't think the oil market was manipulated, this last couple of months should have set them straight.
I remember seeing an economist on one of the morning MSM shows saying so earnestly that the price of gasoline and the oil markets were truly free market, based on supply and demand. I snickered there, too. Maybe SHE believed it, but I certainly didn't. alys |

Listen to Lindsay Williams on Rense this past week, last month, and originally back in July. He was told by a power elite he worked with as a spritual councior at the Alaskan oil fields back in the late 70's that they were going to bring oil down to around $50 a barrel for several months to a year. Then it would spike the hell up after the Middle East collapses.

Re: Gulf Oil CEO says gas could hit $1 next year
i parked my car;
almost 5 years ago i would NEVER have believed i could live without one gas should be about 50 cents a liter but, you see, they jack it up, and, jack it up, and, they jack it up and, jack and jill keep paying it i'll bet if jack and jill parked their cars for 4 weeks ... the price of gas would come down but, you know, and, they know jack and jill, will NEVER do it (only a few ever will) i like my life better NOW it slowed me down, and, made me really look at things around me, and, now, i rent a car, if i need one the cost of the gas; has ended up in everything well; perhaps; they finally did price themselves right out of the market and, many truths, bubbling to the surface here, big gas guzzlers, they can't even give them away also, with people stocking up on my things i only need to go to the market, twice a month again, that keeps life simple the price needs to come down and, i think, they owe all the people a refund |

Re: Gulf Oil CEO says gas could hit $1 next year
Hi giovonni,
I`m not too sure about petrol hitting just $1 a gallon. For that to happen, a barrel of oil would need to be around $20, or the very low purchase tax that the US would have to be lower. That of course would create a double whammy for the US government, as the income from the purchase tax as it stands would be halved, and if it was lowered could even be quartered. It`s at this time that the US needs to be looking forward to ways in which they need to increase income through ways of taxation, not lowering it. Also lowering the price of crude oil could make current and future exploration of oil inviable, because there would be a reduced return of investment for the oil producing companies. Of course we would also need to look at political reasons for reducing the price of petrol at the pump. Reduced petrol prices could take the attention away from the real problems of the American economy to try and quel the frustraion of the public over other other problems that they might have, like lack of credit. As I understand it, the average American bases their view on the economy by the price of petrol. I believe that the artificial devaluing of petrol can only be kept down temporarily. Best regards, Steve Quote:

Susan, that's great... would that I could, also, but I live 7 miles from town. It's a trade off (room to grow and prepare vs urban possibilities), and I know someday it might come to living with a bicycle again, but I'd only want to do that if the rest of the cars were off the road... the small 2 lane twisty, wind-y, roads would be a death trap on a bike or a segway -

Rent first, unless you'll need one to cover distances often. It is a buyers dream market; There are some really good deals right now. Two for one, no interest, some dealers even throwing in their first borns! gio
