UFO activity in South America seems to have reached new heights recently with reports of sightings becoming almost a daily occurrence. Many are convinced that a secret UFO base exists somewhere in the region, possibly disguised by a lake. A disproportionate number of UFO sightings do seem to involve bodies of water in this part of the world.

Now a video that might contain footage of an actual Extraterrestrial is making national headlines and causing a sensation amongst UFO and alien hunters in Peru. The video was taken in the Santa Rosa de Quives region of the Canta province. The area is considered to be holy to Peruvian Catholics and a place where people come to pray for miracles.

Every August 30, a pilgrimage takes place here and it is believed the video was shot at that time last year, however only made public this month.

The creature depicted in the video is being referred to as Quives Man. The story has been covered by Perus Capital Radio and Panamerica TV station as well as Channel Peru. Needless to say, English language media have not picked up the story (that is until now).

A group of ufologists in Peru have carried out an analysis of the video and claim it contains a real alien. The Peruvian government and scientists are looking at the video as well. The video can be seen below: Does it show an actual alien? You be the judge.

I don't know what to make of that little thing walking away with the skinny head. But it looks like it has two legs though, instead of four like an animal.

Is this another case of "We'lll put it right in front of You and see how You Guys handle It" ??? Meaning there are Gumby-like Beings and the cartoon character was promoted due to Them visiting Us or being here already.

The more I watch that the more I wonder what that is! weird!, and it does look like a little skinny Gumby type thing! What the heck can that be? It doesn't look photoshopped or anything like that. Where's Steve? we need that guy translated, LOL!

I used to work in software that did alot of clever tricks, and I would state a large drink that this is untouched 'raw and real' footage OR it is done with some one of massive experience for reasons unknown.

To take this video and fake it would take me at least eight days to the level of fooling investigators, but then it would have maipulation 'fingerprints' on it (the original is so valuable for this very reason).

What blows me away is the fact that if you look really closely, you can see the 'thing' stood stock still as the kid approaches it, stands between the camera man and 'it', and then 'it' skulks off.

Amazing footage, and if thats fake, I cannot see for the life of me how it was done so well outside of a pro studio.

For what my opinion is worth as i don't see elementals and cannot prove i sense their presence, I'd say that is not an alien, rather it's a little local spirit.

I think it's a lil wood sprite, and there are probably lots of stuff we don't see or hear about because so many have gotten so far from nature. I'm guilty and feel the call to go canoeing
