Any gay/lesbian folk out there?
Hope this isn't too off topic...
But I'm genuinely curious how many GLBT people are in these kinds of alternative communities. Quite a few, I'm guessing! *raises hand* Love and light to all. |

Re: Any gay/lesbian folk out there?
I do not really care for labelling myself in such ways, but since you asked, I currently lean toward the gay end of the sexuality continuum. You beat me to the punch as I was curious about this myself---not that I think it matters all that much to the mission of Avalon. Cheers!

A big hug to both of you from the 54-year-old wife, mother and grandmother downunder. My hubby and I have a gay male friend and he is the most caring, generous person I know right at this time. He is a joy to be around to both of us.

Re: Any gay/lesbian folk out there?
I've had many close friends who were gay... but to be honest, I don't bother to think of people either way... good people are just good people no matter what.

Re: Any gay/lesbian folk out there?
I have many gay and lesbian friends but it's not really a big deal to me that they are gay and lesbian.
I find labels to be frivolous to begin with. The person matters, not the label. |

Re: Any gay/lesbian folk out there?
I think having such a thread is not only good but healthy.
Lets REMEMBER to be considerate of people's feelings. This can be a 'Hot Button' for some. Any Rude, Crass, Insensitive, Mean, Thoughtless, Hate etc, comments here will be dealt with swifty! I am a very Moderate-Moderator. I do not like to be heavy handed. BUT, I/we will not tolerate any hate speech of anykind. This is also not a Dating Service and even jokes of that kind are not welcome. Thank you all for your understanding....and Enjoy Life! Thats is it's main purpose! EDIT: I want to make it perfectly clear that no one on the staff including me is accusing anyone of anything that has already posted up to this point. Last edited by Stephen; 10-28-2008 at 10:27 AM. Re: Any gay/lesbian folk out there?
Good peoples are good peoples and they are found anywhere. I'm friend with every color, taste, size or shape. What I don't like is the promotion of one over the others. Seeking pride is futile as one is who he is.
In my idea of a perfect world, there would be no need for publicity. Unite with good folks in a wide array of diversity. Is that simple? Last edited by LaRosa; 10-28-2008 at 06:19 PM. |
