Smile Re: Cairns / FNQ Regions

I was in Cairns last October 2007.

Born in Adelaide I thought Cairns would be a nice place to retire.
But it was way too hot !!!
And the public lagoon is not really salt water because it is full of chlorine.

So, I hightailed it back to New Zealand. (Canterbury)
I'm thinking about going back to Adelaide or Perth.

Although, if I ever make millions of dollars, Cairns would be OK.
I liked a lot of the good side to Cairns.
And I liked the Matsumoto Karate Academy.

As for research up there in Cairns,
keep up the good work!

Fantastic, after living up that way a few years back I'm still considering it as a possible site for an Earthship. Any ideas of the highest parts of FNQ, secluded, with good bush cover, water sources, etc? I'm keen to explore...

Ravenshoe is my pick for safest place in Australia to survive a pole-shift + mega-tsunamis. Thats where I would like to be.. growing my own food.

Yes we are still here from the Atherton Tablelands...life goes on down on the farm. Haven't been to the forum much lately... so much happening then it seems nothing is happening all at once. Letting loose our light as much as we can.
