Beautiful video!
I would not mind helping! I happened to have interacted with the Shipibo community in the Amazon basin...but not exactly in Lima. Please let me know how can I help! I know the living conditions of people in Peru... and although for a short while... I have been living with the locals in those conditions and frankly: it opened my eyes. LOVE |

I'll click on it, but it's way nicer to know what you're clicking on... before you click. ![]() |

This short video speaks of the effects of hallucinogens on the brain and on the self. Ayahuasca and other Entheogens are pathways to alternate realms and can also lead us into the structure of ourselves and the cosmos.

Featuring interviews with Alex Grey and Rick Strassman.
This brew, also called yage, or yaje, in Colombia, ayahuasca in Ecuador and Peru (Inca "vine of the dead, vine of the souls," aya means in Quechua "spirit," "ancestor," "dead person," while huasca means "vine," "rope") caapi in Brazil, is prepared from segments of the vine Banisteriopsis Caapi. Sections of vine are boiled with leaves from any of a large number of potential admixture plants (such as but not limited to; Psychotria viridis or Diplopterys cabrerana) resulting in a brew that contains the powerful hallucinogenic alkaloids harmaline, harmine, d-tetrahydroharmine, and often N,N-dimethyltryptamine. This medicine has been used for millennia in order to enter the sacred supernatural world, to heal, divine, and worship. Last edited by GODDESS OF PURPLE LIGHT; 02-21-2010 at 06:27 PM. |
