Several years ago I was assigned a project, and through the use of the latest AI technology, and supercomputers from EDS, a voice recognition system for the first fiber optic network was developed. I had no idea it was going to be handed over to the government, but because your voice is like a fingerprint commercial applications vanished as it was snatched up for government use. What I learned while on that project was very disturbing. Since then much of that info has been made public.

Thanks for posting this information, Waterman. It helps clarify AI re NSA, DHS, EDS (HP?). The invasive data mining for 'security' and/or marketing is actually kind of sickening for me. As one commenter said in response to the article you posted, "I find it very difficult to believe that Dick Cheney would be part of anything that was not in our best interest."

I ran into some weird technical difficulties (again) today, and learned of a company called Innovagest 2000, trustedantivirussolution.com, whose persistent reminders to download virus protection software via Microsoft alerts, then Google alerts, just eventually froze the computer - phishing and notepad files status: read - and now it's toast. I'm not sure why Microsoft farms out virus protection downloads, but Innovagest's Terms & Conditions reads like a very strange tale (Playboy?? Netherlands?? Spain???).

With what you say, the profiling capabilities are ubermassive. I hadn't heard about voice signatures yet. UGHHHHH Oh well. You gotta admit, it's one comprehensive package. Who's looking after DHS now? NSA? I've been following CIA, and a bit of FBI.

Re Mobile phones: The thing about mobile phones is they all have GPS post-9/11, for safety & reverse 911 'calls' to find people/bodies in disasters. The only way to stop the reception is to take the battery out; turning the phone off does not disable this emergency function.

Imagine the flood of kinesthetic human data (no pun intended)... it's mind-boggling. What a fearsome advantage for telecommunications, dark hats, smugglers, criminals for feeding wrong data to us.
