Lightbulb Ignore facility

If anyone on this forum is consistently pressing your buttons to the extent you really would rather not see their posts, then please remember you can always add them to your ignore list. It is a standard feature of the bulletin software, not something added recently. Feel free to use it to save yourself getting needlessly wound up (or whatever).

This is done from your "User CP" the exact location depends on the skin you are using.

This link will help get you started down that path.

http://www.projectavalon.net/forum/usercp.php

then select "Edit ignore list"

Or dive right in with this one...

I feel that there isn't anyone worth ignoring. There will be disagreements but ignoring people is basically avoiding confrontation and sometimes, confrontation can be healthy for both parties.

Thanks for the reminder, Anchor.

I agree it's a viable option where you find someone whose posts don't add the value you are looking for, or whose style rubs you the wrong way.

There is nothing wrong with a good debate, but bigoted arguments based only on ones opinions can take some of the fun out.

I for one get alot out of the debating and I rather enjoy reading what others think. In fact I have done that in this room for a very long time now.

I feel that my knowledge needs so much expanding that it is worthwhile.

I dont agree with everyone but one thing I do is check out the information and that helps me out

I know that we all have our own idea's and plans and for that matter path to walk, including the so called "evil ones" of this world. They said they could do it and they are, we just need the right tools to ward them off.

What a shame to lock out that information and if it is hurtfull, then I know there is a lesson in it that I need to learn. So its all good !

I value others opinions and care to read them without passing judgement on that person. In the same token, I will speak my mind and hope my thoughts are valued also.

I want to hear opinions. Debates have their place. How are we to understand others without opinions. JMO

I have never put someone on ignore after 10 years of internet and I'm a member of a considerable number of forums. I accept a different or even a complete opposite opinion, but then I'm not a Socialist.

Sometimes i get a chance to exercise my strong will not to get annoyed and I am getting better at it...It also teaches me tolerance and acceptance of other people's views and opinions.

What a useful tool! The techno extension of our precious gift of free will

I didn't even know we had that available here on the forum.

On the other hand, while can delete other people's posts we cannot delete the "soft still voice within"

Anger and negativity will always drown out this voice

It is so difficult being confronted by shadow we are looking directly into its face now

Always in Love

Hi Mary, I know what you mean, I have been working with my shadow for many years now and it can be quite a experience but we have reach a place in which are very well integrated

Still, I learned from KS that one has to have healthy boundaries and it is not necessary to struggle and suffer once one had done whichever it is that our spirit is requesting in spiritual integrity

Much love

Dearest Stardust

Thank you for seeing me

Yes Yes and YES you speak the Truth my friend!

We are being confronted by lifetimes of shadow emerging from its place of darkness

The Truth is the Light

that blinds us in its intensity

Until

We have adjusted to its brilliance

Some will choose to shut their eyes tightly against the intensity of the pain

Some will pray for the Grace to see it more clearly

Love to you always,
Mary

Hello all,

What if folks especially of low frequency decided that they want to ignore me and they do use this wonderful technology of ignorance upon me. Does that mean that I will no longer be able to sense their negative or low frequency concerning me anymore? I mean this button of ignorance goes both ways right? I really do get what this ignore thing is for and maybe it's good. This may or may not work out but let's see what happens. Because there are all kinds of unlimited parallel realities out there for us to experience, yes? For those not understanding, I mean that I believe we all exist in parallel realities of our choice. Oh never mind, lol. One way or another we're all here to experience it all.
