Default Oil stepping down a little? Natural Gas moving in for now?

OK, I live in the state of Florida, in USA. I was watching the political campaigning reviews etc on Fox News. The first commercial after it was over was a very long, informative, ..calm and inspiring feeling given from the photography and presentation; Natural Gas commercial, talking about how it is 80-90% cleaner than oil and much cheaper.

As far as I know the oil companies have bought out ANY and ALL possible competition. Could this be the beginning to an end of the oil industry and its hold on the economy?

They just can't bare the thought of free energy. How would they make money? Become a farmer and actually do WORK?! Because they already don't think, they pay other people to think for them. God forbid they contribute to those not of themselves.
