Journey of Awakening

NATIVE ELDERS REVEAL CENTURIES OF
EXTRATERRESTRIAL CONTACT LORE

1996

For ten days in June, the Yankton Sioux Reservation on the windswept high
plains of South Dakota was a gathering place for indigenous tribal leaders
from around the globe and hundreds of Native and Euro-American listeners.
The occasion was the Star Knowledge Conference and Sun Dance, convoked
by Lakota (Sioux) spiritual leader Standing Elk in response to a vision. The
vision showed that Native American spiritual knowledge about the Star
Nations was to be shared. This Conference also fulfilled ancient Hopi and
Lakota prophecies.

Spiritual shamans from the Plains tribes (Lakota, Oglala, Dakota, Blackfoot,
Nakota) were joined by spokespersons from the Eastern (Iroquois, Oneida,
Seneca and Choctaw) and Southwest (Hopi, Yaqui and Mayan) tribes. In
addition, the chief Maori shaman came from New Zealand at the southern
end of the world, as well as a professional formally residing in the land of the
Saami people from the part of Scandinavia above the Arctic Circle.

They came because they had seen signs now occurring which had been
predicted by ancient prophecies. These signs signified to them that the time
had come to speak openly about their most closely-held oral traditions.
These traditions include their origin from the stars, the influence of Star
People visitors on the formation of their culture and their spiritual beliefs and
ceremonies, and the imminent return of the Star Nations.....

The Lakota Elder told the Sioux spiritual origin legend. Two Lakota scouts
were out away from the tribe when a young, beautiful, pale-white luminous
woman appeared to them, White Buffalo Calf Woman. She gave them
important instructions about their origin, and spiritual teachings and
ceremonies to bring back to their people. One scout had lustful thoughts for
the woman and sought to approach her erotically. He perished. The other
scout had paid respectful attention and brought back her teachings to the
people, who have been sustained by them. Charger said that each of us
faces the same choice: how will each of us react to the return of the Star
People's presence?

Journey of Awakening: Standing Elk

The above design was presented to me (Standing Elk) by Pamela Ice on
February 24th, 1996, at Wounded Knee, South Dakota. The brief history of
this design was related to me in this way. According to Pamela Ice, this
design was a symbol that was quilled or beaded on her grandfather's
pipebag. She stated that Wallace Black Elk had commented that this design
was a symbol from the Star Nation. This was the only information she had
given to me in regards to the design. She wanted to talk to me about this
design because she needed to understand it. I told her that I would take this
back to the altar and have it translated spiritually and I would present her
with the information at some point and time in the future. I later called her
and relayed the message from the alter...

Journey of Awakening

Chief Arvol Looking Horse Speaks

November 12, 2007

Urgent Message of the Virgin Births of White Buffalo and Black Buffalo in Pennsylvania

Mitakuye Oyasin (all my relations),

Another great message has come to us from the animal nation. This time, it is more urgent then ever! It has come to my attention of another birth of a white buffalo, this time it is more different then any other sign.

So far since 1994, the same time that Global Warming was being announced; there have been at least 4-6 every year of these sacred buffalo calves that have stood upon the earth. Not only the buffalo have showed these signs to tell us of this great urgency that is upon us, but in many parts of the world, there have been other animal nations showing this sacred color.

This color represents the south, the direction in which we pass through to the spirit world, a completed cycle. This interpretation has to do with the Bundle I take care of that carries a prophesy from the White Buffalo Calf Woman. She told of a time when her spirit would stand upon the earth, a time of great changes were about to come to us all. A time when the two legged would have to make a decision to change their ways to heal the damage that they have created. Boundaries in respecting life and spirit will have become violated.

This birth is yet another sign, but brings more awareness of this urgency. This new birth has to do with 2 female buffalo kept in captivity, with no male buffalo present. It would be hard to believe, but in this instance, the place they live has kept this quiet, because they did not want to be accused of artificially inseminating the female buffalo. There have been these types of instances that have been done in the past, concerning publicity in owning a white buffalo calf.

The Woodland Zoo in Farmington, Pennsylvania decided to bring in two female buffalo to their facility. One of the females was pregnant when she arrived. After she had the calf, it was sold, 6 months later, she gave birth to another calf, this time it was white. Buffalo carry for 9 months as humans do. The other female she lived with, gave birth 9 months later to a black buffalo after the white calf stood upon the earth, again no male buffalo present.

This was brought to my attention a while back. I did not want to state anything till I took this through ceremony, to understand the truth and the message.

Since 1994, these kinds of signs have been coming, but it seems that people do not listen or want to see anything important from the animal nation’s messages. This has a lot to do with faith.

What was told is as follows: This is a very dangerous time we are in! The minds of the people on Unc’i Maka (Grandmother Earth) are choosing to focus on a new way of life that is hurting us all in the global community. This way of life chooses war, hurting one another physically and verbally, and continued desecration to Unc’i Maka in taking more then what we truly need in her resources. These decisions not only hurt our own People, but the animal nations are dying in large numbers to extinction by this new way of life we are accepting. Unc’i Maka is going to have a hard time to continue to bring food to all life. These decisions need to be changed very soon and are in each and every one of your hands more then ever. Respect to the spirit of life needs to be brought back; boundaries need to put back into place and faith needs to be present in everyone’s life once again.

We have no choice but to listen!

May Peace Prevail on Earth! In a Sacred Hoop of Life, where there is no ending and no beginning!

19th Generation Keeper of the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Pipe

White Buffalo Calf Woman brings the first Pipe

as told by John Fire Lame Deer in 1967

John Fire Lame Deer was a Lakota Holy man, and perhaps a Heyoka.
His book Lame Deer, Seeker of Visions, (see book review) written
with Richard Erdoes in 1972 . He died several years later on the
Roeebud Lakota reservation in South Dakota; his son Archie carries
on his spiritual work.

The Sioux are a warrior tribe, and one of their proverbs says,
"Woman shall not walk before man." Yet White Buffalo Woman is
the dominant figure of their most important legend. The medicine
man Crow Dog explains, "This holy woman brought the sacred
buffalo calf pipe to the Sioux. There could be no Indians without
it. Before she came, people didnt know how to live. They knew
nothing. The Buffalo Woman put her sacred mind into their
minds." At the ritual of the sun dance one woman, usally a
mature and universally respected member of the tribe, is
given the honor of respresenting Buffalo Woman.

Journey of Awareness

Chief Arvol Looking Horse
tells how he started his path

When I was young, a black widow spider bit me. The venom started
spreading and eating away at my skin. I remember my grandmother
praying that I would live, and it was the prayer that pulled me
through. But it left a bad scar on my face, which made me very
shy when I was growing up....

Your postings are touching my heart. Thank you for posting them. I particularly liked your Robert Morningsky and Chief RedElk clips. Have you ever heard of the 10 Commandments of the Star Warriors?

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS OF THE STAR WARRIORS. (Key 10)

1. I am a child of the Dancing Star born of chaos.

I AM BORN OF THE STARS. THE STARS WERE BORN OF CHAOS. THERE SHALL ALWAYS BE CHAOS, BUT I SHALL ALWAYS BE WARRIOR. Only in challenge shall we find our greatest strengths and our weaknesses. Only in challenge shall our passions be made strong. The goal of life is outward development. NOT inner peace. Peace that brings no challenge means stagnation. Confidence in self wrought through challenge is TRUE peace.

2. I am fire.

I AM FIRE. I AM PASSION. ALL THAT I DO, I DO WITH PASSION. - Fire is passion. Passion is that inner force that distinguishes us from all others. Passion is that which makes the Bear become the Bear...never will you see the Bear trying to fly as the Eagle, for it is his passion to be the bear. Passion is the gift that allows us to be what we wish. To do anything without passion, is to go through the motions. To be Passionless is to lose the fight of life. Those who have no fire are easy to conquer and manipulate. The study of Physics and other sciences tells us that all things are comprised of atoms which in turn are comprised of electrons, protons and neutrons...all are particles of energy or electricity. This energy cannot be destroyed, only changed. From these very same particles came the release of a basis of our existence, within our own bodies. Herein, science has revealed the existence of a force unlike any on this planet, the force which directs each one of us in our path. This is our passion, this is our gift.

3. I see the fire in all things.

I SEE THE FIRE IN ALL THINGS - All things possess fire. All this have spirit. The only difference between man and animal is that they wear different skins. The only difference between man and all things is the skin, or outer covering. In the Hopi world, the spirit of a think is called katcina. It is the katcina that is the fire or passion. Those who can see and hear can learn from those katcinas around us. If you can communicate with another human being, you can communicate with the trees, the wind and all things of the earth.

4. I am but a visitor in the land of living things.

I AM BUT A VISITOR IN THE LAND OF LIVING THINGS - The skin we wear is but a temporary robe. That part of us which is most important is the inner spirit, or the passion. Yet, we must never forget that we are guests in this land and we must conduct ourselves as such. We respect all that is here. That which we may receive in this place must be left here.. things cannot be taken with us, but all of our riches that we have accumulated in memories and knowledge shall go with us forever.

5. I walk the path of silence.

I WALK THE PATH OF SILENCE - In the Song of the morning sky, there is a line that says live as though you cannot speak. It means that what you do is more important than what you say. If you cannot speak, you must communicate your love and friendship through your actions. You must demonstrate that which you feel. Let your actions be your measure. Only in silence can you learn. He who talks does not hear - only in silence can you defeat your enemy, he who makes no noise is invisible.

6. I am not seen or heard. I am only felt.

I AM NOT SEE OR HEARD, I AM ONLY FELT - The warrior must make himself felt. If he lives his life and the world has not felt him, he has failed. If he lives his life and grandfather has not felt him, he has failed. His passion must be experienced by others, not witnessed. He who uses his fire warms the world, he who shouts of his fire fills the world with noise.

7. I take only that which I can return.

I TAKE ONLY THAT WHICH I CAN RETURN. THE BALANCE OF NATURE AND HARMONY OF THE UNIVERSE MUST BE MAINTAINED - If the warrior takes a tree for use as a canoe, he must return and plant a seed to replace it. If a warrior takes an ear of corn, he must return and plant another. If a warrior takes a life, he must replace it. (In days of old, if a man took the life of another, he returned and took care of the victims wife and family. It was the civilised european immigrants who taught the Indian to take life without concern for repayment or maintaining the balance of nature.

8. I cannot possess. I can only share.

I CANNOT POSSESS, I CAN ONLY SHARE - Which of the fleas owns the dog? Which of the leaves owns the tree? If there can be such a thing as ownership, does not the grass have first claim to the land? Or cannot the trees make the same claims? The secret of possession is this, when you make a claim of possession.. that which is claimed to be the possession is not the possessed, that distinction lies with the owner.

9. I am my grandfather in all ways.

I AM MY GRANDFATHER IN ALL WAYS - Grandfather is the name given to the Great Spirit. Grandfather is the name given to the Universe. Grandfather is father of the man to whom I was born. The universe is Grandfather. In all the universe all things are possible. In the universe. To believe in Grandfather is to believe in all things. I am the great spirit, I am grandfather, I am the universe... in me all things are possible.

10.I am the answer.

10. I AM THE ANSWER - The Warrior is an answer to a problem. He is not the answer, but one of many possible solutions. The Warrior is the first one into battle, the first one to sacrifice, the first one to step between his loved ones and danger. The warrior is a living example of passion.

Excellent thread, day. Although I don't understand a word of it, I find the songs with chanting deeply touching and I end up with tears streaming down my face. Much like a puja in sanskrit I attended last fall. At that time I felt the spirit of a grandfather, a local native, standing beside me. It was just an impression, but a strong one, completely unexpected. I'm a northern european mongrel, so I don't know what the connection is. I spent most of my free time as a boy in the woods and still do so when I can.
