Anyone Hosted a Convention???

I have an idea for a convention, but I've never organized one.

The facility application makes it clear that only experienced established event organizers will be considered.

It will be a big media event, easy to sell and finance, and it will be fun.

If you could be a bit more detailed (it doesn't matter if the content is about bees or warheads) I can help you with some ideas. I don't really know what you mean by host? Do you mean organise....

Anyway I have run hundreds of meeting and conferences and road shows, so let me know what what you think it might look like and I can perhaps give you some advice.
