Default soul mate

there is interesting blog by Ellie Crystal and this topic haunts me all my life
I see now illusion of romantic love as a one of many ways that society control us to start family and procreate so our children could be food cannon in future wars but what about what Ellie calls help by our soul mate in finishing our spiritual work ,what you guys think ?
the reason I ask is that I m in great relationship easy and stress free but
soul mate she is not ,more like best friend .

the other topic I want to touch is ,this is very enlightened compared to general population crowd ,but most posts are about surviving those great
earth changes when my intuitive feeling and Ellie talks about it all the time also is that this time is for closure and transcendence while serving others in those difficult times ,not so much survive at all cost .

that is her post
Grid Attraction 2009

Fear and anxiety keep you grounded in the game. Love lifts your energies to experience in higher frequency, it's why most people seek a soul connection. In 2009 many people will meet soul mates and make strong connections as the game plays out. Prepare and clean up your issues if you want to attract that person - not because you say you do, but because it could happen next year. Don't meditate on it. Don't use tools or rituals. No crystals. No praying. No candle work. Move beyond that. If you have time and energy for a relationship, that person will come by grid attraction. Keep yourself free and available. Know if you are good in relationships. Lighten up if you want a soul mate to finish up the program. If your personal life is too complicated, it probably won't happen, because you are not looking for a soul mate - your soul is probably tired and seeking a caretaker which is not what I am talking about. I am referring to the person who comes in to help you finish the work you came here to do as the program evolves and you are catalysts for each other - not to mention having out-of-this-world sex!

wow. i hope it's true. i haven't been a relationship for quite some time. not because i don't want to, but because out of every potential girlfriend over the last....5..6 years? wow..over the last few years, there was never that connection. i new i would not be able to give it my all and it would never work out in the long run. that blog you posted is very uplifting and gives me a lot of hope. it's about time i meet a likeminded person of the opposite sex face to face rather than over the computer. how great would it be for so many people like myself to finally find their soulmake? and what a great experience it would be for the planet as a whole. nice post

total fantasy...the "legend" of soul mates, is a perversion of the relationship between the body and soul... yes...that makes sense when you consider the words...soul mate eh?

the New Agers latched onto this innate desire in humans, to be whole, by discovering one's soul (mate) and turned it into a money making proposition, You give them your money and they gaze at the stars, into a crystal ball or read the cards...and tell you about your soul mate... you buy it

Cool Re: soul mate

There are "soul mates" in the sense of consonant harmonies in personality, but the distinction of individual separation becomes fuzzier as the soul progresses, we are facets of eachother, and eventually we all return to our holopanentheistic origin.

I feel that there is no such thing as a soulmate.

I feel no true connection to anyone. I feel no true connection to this world but yet, I am here.

I think that I will be fine even if I never connect with people in the way that I wish to and strive to.

Some are incomplete without their mate. There are friends and then there are those that act on us like a drug. We have actual physical withdrawl symtoms when separated. We read each others thoughts and are content simply because they are near. We look for them in every face when we are separated for brief moments in public. Our nervous system reacts to their voice in a crowd. When one dies, the loss is so accute the other usually follows within a short period of time. Its a wonderful thing to have known your soulmate, but a death sentence if your soulmate ever decides to break from you either by death or other interests.

Those most worthy of love are seldom made happy by knowing it.

The Gods are so perverse they will give you what you wish for to watch you writhe in angony while asking for the wish to be undone. Hence, Be careful what you wish for.

It is written, "In the last days, the love of many will grow cold..."

I think this statement is true today, and it is more pronounced than ever...

Images from the glitzy mass media, porn, and video games...disaster images, war images...scams...spam....fluoride...chemical poisoning.... all these slowly numb down the senses to everything that we once held in esteem...

I'm meeting somebody in Jan 2009 that I think is very special, I would say she is everything I've been wishing for. Although we have yet to meet we read each others thoughts and are in each others dreams. Hopefully we will walk into the future hand in hand and face whatever is coming together
I am so happy to have been given the chance of love again

Good luck in finding love if you dont have it in your life.

Trust me, soul mates do exist. Both sets of my grandparents are proof and thank God for them bc My parents split up. The odds are high but they will eventually line up and fall into place. It just sucks bc society tells you that everyone will find their soulmate. Very rare. Hopefully in the next life right.
Its out there and its worth the risk. You took your shot and failed, well isnt that better than wondering what if? Yes it is. Dont forget that. What if? Can screw people up hardcore. So get out there and roll the dice again! Uh nevermind sit around feeling sorry for yourself, you get way more out of life that way.

Oh my goodness! I have to jump in here...

True soul mates DO exist...I have been looking for mine all of my life...I have written about him in my journals, dreamed of him....called for him....

and he has indeed appeared in my life....through Avalon.

Yes, I know..alot of you may think this is a crock....

but we are in 2 different continents...and yet...I know when he is awake, I can HEAR him speak to me...we share energy through something...I'm not sure how or what yet...we BOTH feel this, and it grows daily....

If you feel that you are still looking for your one...and you feel that right person IS out there...keep looking...it has taken me 52 years to find my soul mate, but now he is here!

We are mirrors of each other...energy mirrors, soul mirrors..heart mirrors....

I'm a well grounded person...not a new-age person for the most part...just kinda normal..psychic...oh yes....celtic blood....

I have dreamed him into my life...

Remember...we are who we are ....through... thought and mind and spirit...
Energy...in other words.

Peace to you who seek.
Grace to you who don't.
Love to all!

Marian

Thank you every one especially Marian for response ,I have to profess I m on a fence on this one
At this particular time ,I experience very uplifting moments in relationships moments that placed me not in this dimension
But precisely do to fact that we live here now in 3D they did not last ,and when I lost it I really did lost all
I felt lack of it like lack of oxygen and depression almost killed me .
I survived but now I don’t trust relationships especially those intense ones out of this world .
Do they make us grow sure perhaps I have enough of this growth and roller coaster already
I just want to finish this incarnation in much truth and integrity I can muster and be done with it.
What this article stirred with me is question that maybe the best way to finish my task here
Is with help of someone who is so to speak made pre-incarnated appointment with me
To get together so we can finish our tasks on time .

Does it make any sense ?

o please soul suspect... If you are a loving individual, you can love anyone...and everyone...you are not limited to a specific person... the love of God is UNCONDITIONAL... either you share ability to express that love or not.

i think there are a lot of things others are to us:

essence twins

task companions

travelling companions

members of our immediate soul families

meeting them,
can be a lot of fun

sometimes, the sorrow attached to starting, and, losing them again, can be so strong, that, nothing ever begins

this is definitely
an interesting topic

i sure hope mine *sparks* me *soon* LOL

Perhaps you don't have any past life issues with anyone on this planet. My hubby and I certainly did come together to resolve past life interactions. As long as I kept solving a problem by hurting him I kept meeting him again and again. This lifetime I can actually enjoy him more, and we both resolved our "karma" with each other.

cheers!

What follows is only my opinion::::

We are ALL "soul mates." Though a more accurate name for us would be ONE. The very word "soul" conjures up tired religious images.

We all came from the same place. When you get to a point in your life where you are vibrating at the right frequency to meet up with others whom vibrate as you do ... that's when you get the AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... of meeting a familiar "soul" and not until then. Or you may bump into them, but it doesn't gel because of the aforementioned vibes.

I am blessed. I meet soulmates all the time. Because I KNOW that we are ALL "soulmates".

Don't have to "find" anything to make yourself whole because we are ALL whole. We've just been conditioned away from knowing.

A piece of me is linked with a piece of every one of you.

Yes, Swanny, soul mates really do exist.
And they ARE a distinctive individual who make you feel whole again

if you wish to PM me re this, please do...this is one of my things to share, if you wish to hear....

Marian, Your thoughts and feelings are very close to those of my own, and i could not have written them down any better than you have.

I too had been looking for my soulmate all of my life, and she had never appeared until now, and through this forum.
I had put it out 'into the ether' some years ago, and had placed that wish for my mate, my equal in all ways - yes a mirror so to speak, into the hands of spirit and just kept that vigilant eye out for that elusive other half. I would no longer settle for a 'companion' for that sake alone, this person had to be so special, and she is.

Several weeks ago, this woman came into my life through this forum, and over some weeks we became so very close, yet continents apart, we 'know' when each other awakens, we know what each are doing at any one time, and those energies that we share are felt by the both of us in extraordinary ways. Each day those feelings and energies grow, and the miles between us appear to dimminish.

I send her healing energies, and get the feedback of what has been felt when no communication has been made that it was being sent, i see the colours of the clothes she is wearing, and she can tell me what i am eating.
We too are in each others dreams, feeling the closeness of the other.
We have such a great personal connection, it is something so real, and yet we have not met on common soil - yet - and this will come to be shortly.

It has been said 'Be careful what you wish for, for it just might come true' , and as long as you wish for exactly what you desire, what are the limitations, what your expectations are for that wish to become reality, and continue to reinforce that through spirit, the god/dess, your angels, your guides........... IT WILL BECOME REALITY.

For we too will walk into the future hand in hand, and face whatever is in that future together......... She does make me feel so complete.

I had also read in a post by EtherealSea "I also know, deep inside of me, that we are in a very important moment of our time ... so, it's not by chance that we are all here"
This is such a very real statement, and in these times are one of the purposes why so many of us are coming together, again.

Love and Light,
Tez

I digress. I find my inability to connect with others to be a great hurdle that I haven't been able to get over. I actually think that it's a punishment for something in a past life.

If you ask me you are also delusional...and after fifty years, no doubt, desperate...

I don't say that to be mean...and I wish you the best in this relationship...but most likely is you have "memory" of a "past-life" relationship which you cherished, guaranteed this person is not the same person in the now, his life experience would not be the same, and he will not live up to your expectations...and you wil not find yourself progressing because you are clinging to the past instead of moving forward.

looking outside yourself for fulfillment, satisfaction and wholeness is not spiritually progressive...your true "soul-mate" dwells within you, waiting for you to recognize it is what will make you whole.

sometimes we may find a life line to grab onto and remain afloat long enough to discover that "soul-mate" which dwells within us. in doing so the ability to share in the joy of life takes on new meaning for the participants. not everyone will utilize this approach but it is available as an option for those who may need it. we all embark upon unique paths that collectively create this amazing web of manifested experience. some travel alone, some in pairs, some in packs. only the individual knows what their soul needs. recognition and acceptance of many paths travelled lifts the consciousness of the observer.

I prefer to forgive and just live life the best way I possibly can and over time, I will be proven wrong. I don't know when or where but it will happen.

Would "soul mate" be the inbreeding of the spirit?

I think the common idea of a "soul mate" has been radically socially changed over time.

There is a feeling and I for one know, that feeling is true, that people feel something warm and loving with that special someone. Almost a feeling similar to where we came from (spirit) and its familiar to us. Everyone has the ability to feel that if you choose to or not.

I have come to understand, that feeling is a recognition of a familiar energy pattern that shares a similar harmonic vibration. Meaning that traits could be alike. You might be in more of a synchronization with the things you do together, share similar interests and that sex is just ooohh sooo good.

I'm saying that there is more than one person that can give you that connection.

On one hand, we have more ways to communicate now - sms, yahoo messages, email, internet dating & satellite phones. On the other hand, many people are isolated, alone, depression is higher & marriages are breaking down.
I feel the search for a soul mate holds us back from enjoying the present. That is, we just become picky & say "no" to everyone. Many people who want it all, just end up with nothing. Secondly, I feel it is a scarey expectation for a girl to expect me to complete her, make her happy 100% of the time, etc. In reality, nobody is going to rescue you, or complete you - you have to do this for yourself.
Perhaps we were better off 100 years ago when nobody knew about soulmates & the local girl would marry the boy down the street?
