Home...
I came across this, very moving Video...
It's called: HOME This movie has recently been released (2009), and tells of man's insatiable desire and need to strip our Beautiful Mother Earth of her resourses. It's a wonderfully Directed, Produced and Narrated piece which leaves you in no doubt that we simply can go on doing what we're doing, both for the survival of our Planet and all species that dwell upon her... For your Consideration... We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate. The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being. For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film. HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet. Yann Arthus-Bertrand YouTube - HOME (English with subtitles) Please follow the link, as this movie cannot be embeded. Thank You! Additional Comment: I'd be grateful on any thoughts you may have about this Video, Good or Bad... I would just like to make it very clear that I do not under any circumstances condone Agenda 21. My feeling for making that statement? I can see how this maybe a percieved as being a Problem - Reaction - Solution sinario by TPTB, hearding us into population zones and making a lot of area's off limits to us. However that said, I can't see how we can continue down the road of self destrution. A change of attitude toward each other as well as whole eco system would be benifical to ALL... We know the whole solar system is heating up, not just our planet. and I feel that our Earth, as well as us will be going through some remarkable changes in the near future. This is why I will be doing what I can to become as one with all of creation. Namaste, Love and Light to ALL, Trav. Last edited by Traverser; 06-07-2009 at 08:45 PM. |

Re: Home...
I just watched it and wow! what a great film! I agree with it that we can't keep taking and taking from the earth. We have to start looking towards the sky, as in solar power and also wind power. Those two fields alone are really in the beginning phases and will keep getting better and better, and more efficient all the time!
Everyone needs to wake up! Especially places like Dubai, all that sun and no solar power, and having to rely on desalination plants for water, what a joke!! That whole place should never have been built! It's getting hit hard by the economy and I hope it gets hit a lot harder! Same for Las Vegas, should never have been built and I hope they crash hard! Thanks for posting this film Traverser! |

Re: Home...
Just finished watching it as well and it was excellent. Thank you very much for this. I am going to try and find somewhere to download a DVD rip of it and send it to everyone I know.

Wind power can have devastating effects on people who live close to the wind farms. http://www.savewesternny.org/health.html Health, hazard, and quality of life near wind power installations - How close is too close?: Nina Pierpont, MD, PhD March 1, 2005..."Dizziness (specifically, vertigo) and anxiety are neurologically linked phenomena. Hence the anxiety and depression seen in association with other symptoms near wind installations are not a neurotic response to symptoms, but rather a neurologically linked response to the balance disturbances people experience from shadow flicker or low-frequency noise... Based on these health effects and hazards, turbines should not be placed within 1700 feet of any road or dwelling. However I do agree Karen that there are many options available including geo-thermal, tidal, zero point, and many more. We just need to get the scientific community to ignore big business and do the right thing and research these alternative resources. |

Re: Home...
Thank You All for your comments!
I thought it necessary to post this movie, because when you actually see for youself the stripping, mining, drilling and de-forestation that goes on, well, it's quite disturbing I feel. Quote:
Please find below a link to the movie, where there's an option for downloading. I hope this works for you: HOME (2009) If TPTB are indeed holding onto 'FREE ENERGY', then I totally agree with what's already been said here; 'RENEWABLE ENERGY' is they way to go. Solar, Wind, GeoThermal, and Tidal are probably the most common one's we hear of. Below is a chart that show's the output of 'Renewable Energy' as of the end of 2008... As you can see, in the grand scheme of thing's we're not using anywhere near enough 'Renewable Energy'. But let's be positive here, we have a good foundation to build on... Re: Home...
I came across this story that shows exactly why the above slice of pie of clean renewable energy is so tiny. It's an easy and very interesting read. Wade worked with Dennis Lee and saw many of the ways TPTB take people down.
http://www.ahealedplanet.net/advent.htm Excerpt from My Adventures by Wade Frazier When I heard Steven Greer say in 2004 that the Big Boys told him that they paid off 10,000 people at an average of $10 million each over the past sixty years or so, it made perfect sense. Ten million dollars times ten thousand people is $100 billion in quiet money. I would not be surprised if the Big Boys spent another $100 billion on their global surveillance and suppression efforts. That is not a trivial sum, but is a pittance at the level they play at: keeping an entire planet enslaved to scarcity-based paradigms. Greer also knows billionaires, and when any have tried helping to a free energy effort, they have immediately received threats, the kind that that windmill entrepreneur did. Long ago, a high-profile friend of mine received a demonstration from the spooks. He was transported, blindfolded, to an underground location where they demonstrated free energy, anti-gravity and other technologies, along with an explanation of why such technologies would remain underground. That friend proved his integrity to me many times - he has not abused me with a fanciful tale. Very few can tell such a story, however, and virtually nobody will tell it publicly. Those technologies my friend saw were probably at least partly developed by reverse-engineering “captured” extraterrestrial craft, the kind I have now seen with my own eyes. What my friend saw neatly aligns with what Steven Greer’s 400-plus UFO witnesses have to say, and others have been given shows like that. |

The excerpt you've provided is very intriguing indeed... I suppose I've always known that this sort of thing goes on but I'm looking forward to reading and finding out more about this subject and hearing from those involved; Exactly what goes on!?!? As you say, It does look an easy read but there's still a bit to get through. So without further ado, I'll get started. Namaste, Love and Light to ALL, Trav. |

I'm only half way through but already I think depopulation would be a really good thing, can't help thinking how much better the planet would be without us here

In principal I agreed that expansive policies of the profit driven (where expansion and growth are scared with absolutely no regard is given to the consequences) are leading humanity to the brink of irreversible destruction. My question is why is it that the very same corporation that have driven the expansion policies are now doing an Al Gore, is that they have developed a conscious or they are running scared and have the audacity to blame it on humanity. Re: Home...
If we dont get better, then the Earth will shrug us off.
I dont have a lot of faith in the bulk of the power brokers to do this themselves, consequently, I think that she's going to do that to a lot of people anyway. I see this happening in ever increasing numbers until we get the message or those that are left get the message in sufficient proportion that the required adjustments are made. A.. |

Re: Home...
Thanks for the movie link. I thought this idea was very cool.
French Award-Winning Design for Wind Turbine Towers First, it utilizes existing structures, thereby reducing the need to further deface the landscape and build more power-structures. The design is also adaptable to different tower styles, and has the potential to be quite efficient. Delon went so far as to suggest if a third of France’s electrical towers were outfitted with these turbines, they could rival the energy production of two nuclear reactors–approximately 5% of the country’s total electrical demand. http://www.energyboom.com/french-awa...turbine-towers |
