Trouble makers on Avalon
This forum is truely great, its a privilege to be able share thoughts with such enlightened people.
I do think that there are certain members who are here not to create peace but to divide and cause conflick in the one place that should not be like that. So I thought It would be good to write down such indivduals who are not here to bring people together but divide and cause conflict. If said member are causeing confilct with many then we will all know because their mames will be on here My nomination goes to... Drum Roll.... King lear |

Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
heh... when I seen the title of this thread the first name that popped into my mind was King Lear. Coincidence? I think not.
The few posts I have come across of his/hers do always seemed callous of nature, but I get the feeling the main intent was meant in a humorous context, but fail in that, most times... as they border on insulting. Hope that makes sense. |

Remember, IMO, you are in control of your own feelings and emotions, you have the ultimate power. By creating this thread, again IMO, you are doing two things....... 1. Allowing someone else to control your feelings and emotions. and 2. Contradicting yourself with your own statement.....by creating this thread, are you not "dividing" us and putting us into categories. You, of course, have every right to choose your own path as do we are and my opinion is no better or worse than yours, it just may be different. Regardless on any of our differences here, we should always at least listen...........you never know where all those pieces of the puzzle will come from. A person can be wrong 99 times out of 100 to what we believe but its that one thing that they end up figuring out or sharing that can bring upon the change we desire. I think this thread might have some value to give people a chance to see how others view them. This is a community after all and its much easier when everyone makes an effort to get along. Ive no one to nominate .. yet |

Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
The only trouble with a thread like this....is that the (sleeper) plants,
spooks, thought police, dark tricksters etc etc etc..... will come into it and name non-suspiscious people to further confusion... BUt I totally understand where you're coming from. They are a very tricky and clever bunch of people. I personally have begun my own mental list.....I take note of when these people pop up. How they operate. What it is they are trying to put people off. I'm on another forum, as well, quite mainstream, and the place is INFESTED with fake members. This forum is a bit more 'specialist'.....so the plants/fake members will have to be a lot more sneakier...to have any kind of effect/impact. But never for a moment doubt. They are here. And will always be here in one form or another. Just got to wise-up to them and their methods. Use them as a pointer to the stuff we should be taking notice of.....try and neutralise them as much as possible. Cheers........... |

Rather than cause ill feeling by branding someone, who's 1st language may NOT be english, a trouble maker, how about changing it to:
Would you like me to change the thread title for you? Or would you prefer to do it yourself..? |

Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
Oh yes.....and 'they' could use this thread to see if they've
been rumbled.... lol. Well, I think I've rumbled a couple already. Not going to say who they are.....but they will look at this thread and know that I know. I tell you.....'spook spotting' is an interesting side-line on forums. |

Your idea could create a kind of elitism. Hierarchy. Not healthy. I think talking gererally about the 'thought police' methods etc.....is interesting and liberating. Naming people though could be problematic. They will just disappear, anyway, and come back with a different user name..... |

Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
I have found out that some members come in rough and tough, then once they get a feel for Avalon... they mellow out. Everyone deserves to hear the message that Avalon is putting out. Only the very uncooperative member will get banned here.
As for King Lear, I feel he has a very dark sense of humor that many do not appreciate or understand. I enjoy his humor, wit, and most of the time his pictures... lol Perhaps instead of a thread pointing out a topic such as this... it would be more in the spirit of Avalon to have a thread of members who might be deserving of more love and light. just my .02 |

Let me explain. When I stated the some members 1st language may not be english I meant that as it was not their native language, the posters sense of humour and phrasing may not come across the way the poster intended it to, and therefore it may be mi-construed. Does that clarify things..? |

you got to have one hell of a case to put forth such accusation.....

Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
What works for me, after a long time of letting myself be afronted by unconscious people, is to simply ignore a vibration that is not in alignment with the highest truth I have access to, and support and acknowledge that which does.
Just listen to your heart, and "tune out" whatever doesn't jibe. If we react, we feed it. It ain't no thang...it has no power over us if we don't react. Just keep focused on that which brings you joy, upliftment, higher truth..... |

Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
well, I have another opinion...
Have any of you ever had a debate with people that all have the same opinion? after the first person speaks, everyone nods and its over... Kinda boring if you ask me. You know what my favorite thing to do is to someone that drops their opinion on my head... I come back with a two sided one liner that after they finish laughing they scratch their head and go wait a minute, but they've lost their anger and the conversation goes on. Most can't even come up with a reply and go silent... We have some pretty heated discussions in areas that there is no right or wrong. I'm surprised it stays as calm as it does throughout the forum. For those who haven't noticed, right under a persons name is a report button, click it if someone really upsets you then forget about it and go on... Most of us are here just to have fun... |

Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
For the life of me i can't see what King Lear's name is doing on a trouble makers list. I suggest you nip this in the bud, apologise to King Lear and then delete it.
No doubt there are fake posters on this board as there are everywhere else. If you ask me they will define themselves more by continual and exaggerated fawning and back slapping of those views and posts which are most dis-informational. This is how credibility is built for ideas that deserve it the least. Exaggerated and continual flattery is the common currency. This kind of M.O. is a much safer place to hide than the abrasive challenge of critical thinking.. Not saying that i consider every that compliment is a spook but that the insincere come wearing all kinds of masks. It shouldn't be assumed that dissent is poisoning the 'church'. Re: Trouble makers on Avalon
I agree...
We cant expect to all get along when were talking about things that most of us cant even discuss with the people we see in our dailey lives. I mean it is all religion, politics, armageddon and love, among other things. I am very proud of all the people on this fourm for keeping it very civilized and calm. I think we deserve a pat on the back. Were all here for the same reason anyways... I hope We should just lighten up and love eachother... I got reported for making a joke.. Granted it was a tastless joke.. but either way I meant no harm, and I think most of the people on here are the same way... LOVE YA SEE YA ON THE FLIP SIDE |
