This is a thread about someone who some people liked dying.

In most parts of the world some measure of respect is appropriate.

Careless - or - deliberate ?

About 250,000 people die every day. Death is a part of life.

Some cultures have a party when a person passes on. They view it as a happy occasion. Some even view it as a happier day than the day of birth.

I wasn't aware she was a personal friend to anyone reading this forum. If anyone here is grieving because for the loss of a dear friend, I am sorry if my comment was disrespectful to them.

Another case of prescription meds?... It will be interesting to see if it was in fact flu medication she was taking as stated in the last link I posted. On another note... Whatever happened to Michael Jackson's case? Seems to have disappeared from media.

It's a hell of a drug...

Really though... not funny what can happen, when people try too hard to live up to others ideas of how they think they should be.

I think the reason celebrities garner such sympathy when they pass, is that unlike the anonymous thousands that die every day, we can put a face to the celeb. What it is, I think..

Joseph Stalin said it best; sad truth too.
"The death of one is a tradgedy, the death of a million is a statistic."

2009 ... the wildcard year ... the year of the giant rollercoaster ride ...

and changes took place ... false structures broke down ...
truths ... surfaced ...

babies were born ... adults passed on ...
many were in the limelight ... politicians and celebrities alike ...

throughout the sadness ... and the joys ...
whatever unfolded ... everything for a reason ...

and nearing the end of this year ...
we recap ...
we ask our selves ... why had that occurred ...
and why this ...

again ... everything for a reason ...
blueprint of life ... conveying to us ...

what have we learned this year ...
what is the significance of all that was ...

what is the deeper truth ...

i liked her too ... on this plane ... i feel it to be such a shame ...
and it is sad ...
but i also trust ... of the bigger picture ... everything for a reason ...

death is not the end ... but a passage way ...
to the beginning ...

NOTE: I'm not supporting this man's views at all.

I remember reading about Ronald Weinland and him saying that near the end-times there would be a bunch of deaths in the world of famous people and that they would steadily increase in numbers. I don't have a link for it and a quick search of his site did not produce anything I could link.

it is simple really,
Quote:
De mortuis nihil nisi bonum.
"Of the dead, nothing but good." i.e., "Say only good things about the dead."

respect the dead.

is it really, that hard to understand?

eben though "death" is nothing but illusion,
still, have some respect man. or it up.

agreed, Dan.

lol,

that is a question i do struggle with myself sometimes....

but i think when it really comes down to it..
yes, all of them.

Souls are not really who they were when we knew them while occupying a body.

The body (the mind), can make the soul do things the actual soul (the heart) would never want to do.

that is the ultimate struggle,
between heart and mind
body and soul.

they dont always work in Unison these days,
havent for some thousands of years.

hence.. look at all the sh*t in the world.

but who the body 'was',
is not who the spirit is.
