Hello all, i just wanted to post these lyrics from the rock band black sabbath.
"how strange" i hear you say , "whats this got to do with anything"
well this song was released in 1970 and still holds true today, it doesnt matter if you dont like rock music the lyrics say it all,

You know what, a tremendous amount of rock songs of the 60-70-80's talks about what we are currently living and discovering. Rush is simply awesome in this regard. Almost all of their songs somewhat talks about what we are living now. Even one of their album is called: "2112"

Look at the lyrics of one of their song called "Freewill"

Those realy are amazing lyrics Steve, and your right alot of these old songs deffinatly have profound insight to our times , and i think its the fact that they were feeling some strange awakenings even then , even though some of them were not aware of it, synchronicity seems to play a very big part in our chance to grow, the reason i posted this thread ,was last night i happend to see an old programe about the British rock scene and i rememberd how much i liked the song war pigs, then you post about rush 2112, reminding me further of other songs with profound messages, talk about subliminal messages , i guess its all part of my/your wake up call and im loveing it,

I totally agree with you. I think your thread is awesome. It makes me think about all these old rock song lyrics I was simply "eating" in my youth. Look at this one "Black Sabbath" with Ronie James Dio in "Children of the sea".

It's my own view and it can be totally irrelevant!

Notice that it is written, "They say that its over"...

Very interesting, where it come from? From what "channel". Knowing the creative process of writing, the possible inspiration sources are near unlimited.
