As an Army veteran I would like to STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE from joining the military in any capacity. Yes, I went (semi-) willingly, was very young and inexperienced, had dropped out of college and didn't know what else to do. I was fortunate to be enlisted when not much was going on -- and didn't have to go to war. The idea of an ROTC scholarship is, yes, a way for them to get young officers in exchange for the cost of education. I don't know the details, but please, stay away from it. Consider taking courses online. By the time you would be out of college, degrees won't mean much anyway. For all the rest of you: Please see my thread originally titled 'Appalachia Crew' (switched for some reason to 'West Virginia' during the changeover): http://www.projectavalon.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=3124 ...and my new Appalachia Ground Crew thread: http://www.projectavalon.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=3241 I may be able to find some very promising sites in West Virginia far enough away from seismic zones that have long lain dormant. Not saying we wouldn't feel the quakes if they're anything like the ones in the 1800s, but... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1886_Charleston_earthquake http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Madrid_earthquake ...I'd rather not be very close. The New Madrid Zone in particular makes me want to stay away from even southern WV, let alone KY, TN, and southwestern VA. Anyone willing to cross the mountains? - fil _____

Re: North Carolina
Hi everyone,
I already live pretty much in the mountains of upper north, northwestern North Carolina. Been here 30 yrs or so now, will communicate with any and all. We are already in the over 2,000 ft elevation so feel this is pretty safe. Of course no place is 100%, but some more safer than others. The economic situation looks pretty grim in many aspects, and the Earth Changes occurring is very concerning indeed. Sometimes I wish we were further out into the boonies! LOL But we are relatively out in the mountains now so this is good. We have always stayed rather prepared as it is, so much won't change there for us because we are used to the rough winters here already and the power outages that can occur here. Glad to see there are more from NC on here also. brightstar |

They won't get to give me an assignment until after college, but before my college is over, 2012 will have already happened. Do you think he airforce will try to pull me out of college early to use me in whatever happens in the years ahead? If not, I should be safe, because I would like to think that after 2012, the whole US Military and govornment will no longer be standing. The only problem is that to travel back to NC, I would have to leave college like 2 years early. |

If wars and military institutions become too desperate, I would assume that they can do anything to you, place you anywhere they see fit. If you have the credentials you say you do, then they are going to find the brightest people to help pull them out from whatever the situation may be. I'd take fil's advice and stay away from the military in such chaotic times. |

Re: North Carolina
Oh dear...What do we all think about October 7'th and 14'th coming? At first, I was apprehensive about the 14'th coming and really finalizing the turning point of this doomed race, but then this 7'th thing that started with Dr. Deagle has me worried. I do not find it a coincidence that all of these, more or less "channellers" are getting this stuff at the same time, and I also believe that David Wilcock is correct in saying that the ET's will not allow this to happen. Think about it. October 7'th initializes the downfall of humanity then 7 days later, the ET's show up to draw the line. NOT a coincidence!
*sigh*, How about more positive conversation? There are so many possibilities when it comes to free energy yet to be explored. Has anyone got means of finding the nearest Lay Line, or Lay Line Intersection to us? Perhaps we should migrate to that area once we assemble in the mountains. Hey all,
I came to this site from David Wilcock's DivineCosmos forums. For those wanting positive messages and to be uplifted overall, I strongly recommend you visit. Some of the material discussed may seem "far out"; that's ok. Use only that which resonates with you... As you may or may not be aware, David is a regular source of information for Billy and Kerry. Another good forum is New Earth Summit. The reason I joined this forum was due to the large amount of people in my geographic region. I currently live in Western NC and am looking to connect with others of like mind. Discussions on forums are great, but face to face, the energy exchange is much greater. Additionally, there is less chance of miscommunication - meaning is often lost through the limitations of written language. Again, if I may, I claim to be "of the spirituality, transformation, and ascension camp" for lack of better words. These times are definitely challenging and with all the negative energy and fear being shoved down our throats, its tough to keep a positive outlook. But, it is possible; possible to see through the FOG, the illusion, to experience the beauty that surrounds us each day, the beauty that is us each day. Each day provides infinite possibilities. Its a matter of choice. Seize opportunities; opportunities to share knowledge, shine your light on those around you, share love for and with all. This is the service our world so desparately needs. The night is darkest just before dawn. Without a doubt, we are on the dawn of a New Age, and we are forming the New Paradigm RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. I hope the transition will be smooth, but the New World cannot take hold until the Old World fades away. There will be some challenges, but those ready to abandon the old ways, discard that which binds them to today's way of life, these are the ones who will assist in creating a world where compassion replaces suffering, cooperation replaces competition, love replaces fear. So, if you're of like mind and want to discuss possibly meeting face-to-face, lets get in touch. And, if you're not, thats ok too. My love is unconditional - I need not agree with you to offer my respect and humble service. It is understood by many that the "easy" way to get past these times is through the cooperation of small communities - you cannot depend on anyone else. Art |

Re: North Carolina
why does your new north carolina licenses have
the "american/cdn/and, mexican logo" on them ??? CANADA/USA/MEXICO WEBSITE ? the three amigos, out in the open ??? CANADA/USA/MEXICO WEBSITE ? the three amigos, out in the open ??? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Security and Prosperity Partnership website (http://www.spp.gov ) looks pretty active to me, WHY have we NOT heard about it and, then, We're not out of the water on this one. This parallel is still a potential! This link to a piece about the North Carolina Drivers License, which contains the logo for the North American Union, and, it maybe of interest. since the LOGO for the NAU is on a north carolina license ??? http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/ar...TICLE_ID=57502 what does everyone else think ??? ******************************************** YES folks!, I can verify that!. My mom's and brother in law's NC drivers license HAVE the North American Union logo on the back!. They got them exactly in July of 2006!!. I will be happy to post a picture of them if you like. |

Re: North Carolina
A piece of property around 260 acres is going to auction soon. Was
originally set up for Y2K. We checked it out yesterday, has some potential. Any interested in investing in this project please contact me. We are a primitive skills group looking to set up different projects on the land. We have an herbalist, a primitive skill specialist and a animal husbandry person. We were behind the firefly gathering over the summer.\ If you are willing to invest I can work on getting you a walk on the land. David |

Re: North Carolina
We are relocating to NC, Ashe County (NW corner of the state, near VA)and have some other friends and family members pursuing the same.Looking to establish off grid(as much as possible) living in this beautiful, pristine, rural community. Many like minded spiritual/metaphysical type folks from all over the country being led to move to this area. We have already made some interesting connections. We would love to continue to network with more folks in NC looking to pursue the same.
We are a family of indigos! Fighting the good fight! Blessings, Love & Light! Pam seacottinn@aol.com (infowars.com) (Please feel free to contact us!) Last edited by sea; 01-18-2009 at 03:16 PM. |

Re: North Carolina
I noticed there are a lot of people from Raleigh here. I live close to durham, but I'm still in Raleigh. I want to make a Handbook for the New Paradigm meetup group for us to meet in. The only problem is that I don't have a location to meet at. I would rather it not be in a public place, like a library or a restaurant. If anyone can offer a place I can hold the meetup's time. I don't have the means to travel as far as Asheville right now though.
