Default 34 - UFO crashes by Non Ballard

http://www.dailypost.co.uk/leisure/s...5578-22465133/

This is an onging 'unsolved' UFO case from north Wales-seismology reports offer an earthquake at the time whilst a meteorite was also seen at this time!?

It was a cold winters afternoon and Catrin took her family for a long walk and a picnic up the Berwyn mountains, near Bala.

It was a beautiful walk, the view was magnificent. Snowdonia could be seen in the distance as the family had fun on the mountains. After they ate their picnic it suddenly started to get dark, they lost their way in the low clouds and didn’t know which way to go. They called the mountain rescue and as they sat there, in the coldness of winter, they realised how beautiful North Wales was! Even though lots of tourists come to North Wales to walk on the Berwyn mountains, as locals they never appreciated what was on their doorstep.

A storm brewed and lighting struck. Then at exactly 8.30pm a huge explosion erupted from somewhere and a massive disc flew through the air, green lights flashed in every direction... then suddenly it fell!! Catrin insisted it had crashed into the mountain but her Mum and Dad insisted on phoning the police before inspecting if it had actually crashed.

As they phoned the police, Catrin quickly sneaked away from her Mum and her Dad and ran higher up the mountain. She had seen it, a UFO had really crashed into the Berwyn! She ran closer to the big disc and was almost blinded by the lights. She had to see who was in there. She banged her fist on the UFO but nothing happened, there was no sign of life. She sat on the ground and tried to get a good look at it without getting blinded. As she thought which way to go to get back to her Mum and Dad, strangers appeared behind her, she hadn’t seen them on the mountain while she had been climbing, they must have been ahead of her, she thought. She asked them lots of questions but all they answered was "better for you not to know, my dear." She felt strange but gave up on asking questions in the end.

The mountain rescue appeared the same time as the police but suddenly the UFO started fading away. Catrin screamed for it to stay where it was but she couldn’t do anything to stop it from disappearing.

She was interviewed but no-one believed a word she said, but then more and more witnesses came forward and spoke to the police. The same story was said by everyone and wherever she went everyone spoke of the UFO.

A couple of days after the incident, a lot of people were not keeping to their story, because rumours were circulating that all that happened was a storm followed by an earthquake. But strange people appeared in Bala. Everyone stayed in their houses except these strangers that were blocking the streets. No-one in Bala had ever seen these people before though.

Bala people watched the police search the mountain. Strangers and police blocked the streets but none of the locals wanted to leave their homes at all because they felt very unsafe.

One day when Catrin had been looking out of the window, she saw the strangers that she saw next to the UFO on the mountain. Then it twigged in her head, that all of the strangers that had appeared in Bala were aliens from the UFO. She ran down the stairs and opened the door, slipped out of the house and felt her Mums hand grip her arm and pull her back in. She shouted at her mum "they are the people I saw on the mountain by the UFO," she pointed from the window "I need to tell the police that they are aliens Mum, NOW!!!" But her Mum wasn’t having any of it and was sure that she wasn’t letting her out of the house, all that Catrin did all day was watch passers-by from her bedroom window.

It was clear that her Dad wouldn’t let her out of the house either because her Mum would have told him everything. When Catrin got ready for bed that night, she looked out of the window for the last time. One of the men she had seen on the mountain that night looked up at her window at the same time and made a hand sign. He took a finger and put it up to his mouth as if to say SHH! and also drew a finger across his neck as if to say you will be dead! Tears filled her eyes and flowed down her cheeks. She climbed into bed though she knew she couldn’t sleep!

She had a plan... she would run away! Tomorrow night she told herself she would run to speak to the police and tell them everything! All she had to do was tell them and everything would be over with this UFO nonsense and no-one would speak of it ever again, but it wasn’t that easy, she knew it wasn’t! She knew something no-one else knew, she saw something no-one else saw, and she needed to get the message across that the UFO crashed that night and all these strangers were aliens from another world! Catrin felt that she had a lot of problems on her shoulders that she didn’t know what to do with! Why did it have to be her on the mountain on the day of the UFO crash? Why did it have to be her that had seen the strange aliens on the day of the crash? And why did it have to be her that had these problems all the time? She had her life to live and she should forget these things-she often told herself, but it simply didn’t go away!

Catrin felt fine for a couple of days and she was also let out of the house for five minutes to pop to the shops, but she didn’t consider going to the police station because she’d told herself to forget everything, hadn’t she? So why did she feel the urge to climb the mountain to investigate all the time? Why couldn’t she sleep at night? And why did she still look at the weird strangers walking passed the house, from her bedroom window every day?

She couldn’t get over it after all, so, why pretend? Catrin was going to tell someone, and that was final.

The next day, she was determined she would tell the police. She ran from the house quickly but as she started to get away, she heard her Mum scream, "where are you going Catrin?" and before thinking what she was saying she answered "I’m going to tell the police, Mum!" not realising that one of the strangers was close enough to hear her! She ran, and ran, and ran as fast as she could. But that wasn’t fast enough for the aliens. The next thing she knew she was in someone’s arms. That was the last they ever saw of Catrin.

Her Mum and Dad were devastated but went to tell the police what Catrin had intended on saying. That was the last they ever saw of those people as well. They were taken back to where they came from and everyone knew that the UFO had crashed, the strangers were aliens, and, aliens would still be wandering the streets of Bala now if it wasn’t for what Catrin saw on that cold wintery night.
