John Titor & Time Travel Historian for alleged time traveler John Titor, Oliver Williams reviewed the facts of the remarkable case, and related some of Titor's past predictions to recent news stories. Titor's story has been pieced together from posts he made on Internet discussion boards beginning in November 2000 and ending in March 2001. He claims to have traveled to 1975 from the year 2036 (a period recovering from the devastation of World War III)-- to find an IBM computer that was needed to fix something in his time. Williams believes that we could be living in an alternate reality that was changed by Titor's visit in 1975. Specifically, he did something to stop Y2K from happening, said Williams. According to the timeline Titor shared, America entered a Civil War between 2005 and 2010, then became involved in a global war which culminated in a nuclear exchange in 2015. By 2036, the population had been reduced by one third, society is more agrarian and the US capitol is in Nebraska. The country is divided up into five main areas, with states having more control. Williams noted that the upcoming research at CERN may lead to unexpected breakthroughs in time travel-- and that Titor had posted comments connecting experiments at CERN to the development of time travel. Williams has created several podcasts related to the Titor story, which can be viewed on You Tube. Oliver Williams is the website editor for the time travel story of John Titor. He first saw John Titor's internet postings in the fall of 2002. After reading many of the sites where John was discussed, it amazed Oliver as to how much polarization and confrontation John's posts caused. Oliver soon realized that part of the problem was that there was no one place where all the posts could be easily seen. In early 2003, Oliver gathered the posts that John had left online and edited them into a single web site. The website also contains email and news events that point to subjects John spoke about. Oliver doesn't know if John Titor was a real time traveler or not, but, he says, what still amazes him about the posts is their ability to draw you in, question your sanity for thinking it might be real, and then scare you to death after seeing events unfold as John had said. __________________Reagrding Internet User Intellect Compared to Non-Internet Users

I have noticed, and others of may have as well, that people who more frequently use
the internet often have a better idea of what is actually going on in the world.
They also tend to have a larger vocabulary and wider range of humor and perception.

I've never truly took the time to ponder it,
but now I realize that being "tapped" into the internet is quite beneficial for the intellect.
Vast amounts of information and
current events at your fingertips is a powerful thing indeed.

Though the problem arises is in those who use the internet, but do not take advantage
of it's power. Yes, the myspacers, the youtubers : The ones who only use the
internet for illegal downloads and social networking.

The above "useless" population of the internet seems to correlate to the same
"real world" population. Though it seems
the internet is not a true analogy to "real
world" population ratios due to intellectuals being apparently intrinsically
attracted to the internet due to it's ease of communication and access of information.

So, basically, due to the two generalized internet populations and their respective
real-world equivalent ratios, it's difficult to tell if internet users are more
likely to be intelligent, or if intelligent people are more likely to be internet users.

Of course it could be a number of circumstances greater than simple
"intellect", such as interest of
knowledge/information as opposed to ignorance.

So, internet denizens... What say you?

Oh, the old faxes to Art Bell, supposedly around 1998.

Interesting perhaps if not explained by Darby.

You can alter history in the new universe that you have just created. Most of the time the changes are subtle. the oldest one was a sky scraper that don't exist in New York. Interestingly when you travel in time you must compensate for the orbit of the Earth since the time machine doesn't move you have to adjust the engine so you remain on the planet when you turn it off.

The frame on the vehicle will not be bent if the machine is on like he stated at low power and the G force is only 2 G's.

Get a life about the laser bending picture.

I've always felt this made a lot of sense.

The Right-Brained Office vs. The Left-Brained Office
Rate this article

The right brained office is actually going to look very different than the left brained office. If you have ever wondered what your office says about you, your right brain or left brain probably holds the answer. If you really think, it’s likely that your office shouts out whether you are a right-brain or left-brain dominant person. One of the quickest ways to improve your productivity is by setting up a workspace supportive of your dominant brain style.

RIGHT- BRAIN RATIONALE

The right-brained person usually has a creative flair, a strong visual sensibility and a holistic approach to putting space together. The right-brain person benefits from a workspace that uses lots of color along with options for keeping work papers out in the open. Tools such as literature sorters, project file boxes and Smead Open Rolling Files give a right-brained person the visual cues they need while keeping papers contained and organized. These options avoid the out-of-sight, out-of-mind syndrome that pushes a right-brained person to create piles instead of files.

Another good method for the right brained office is the use of attractive and colorful file folders, magazine holders, binders and portfolios. This will inspire the right-brained person to organize with products that create a visually stimulating environment. The right-brained person will not only better remember where info is stored; they’ll actually enjoy using these artistic tools.

LEFT- BRAIN LOGIC

While the right-brain dominant person works better with everything out in the open, the left-brain dominant person does better in a well ordered workspace with everything behind closed doors except for the task at hand. Left-brain oriented persons do best when a logical home has been established for everything. They thrive on tools such as divided desk drawer trays, wire step files and labelers.

Since the left-brain identifies easily with either a numbered or lettered index system for filing information, a Smead Desk File Sorter with numbered days of the month is a good choice for sorting and storing categories of information in a file drawer. Suggested categories to contain include upcoming meeting materials or daily To-Do’s prioritized by day of action. Likewise the left-brained will appreciate that the lettered version of the sorter keeps everything from client invoices to vendor catalogs organized yet easily accessible while still out of sight in a file drawer.

WHERE MINDS MEET

Even though there are differences in what works for a right-brain vs. left-brain office, there is one strategy that works in both – the color coded filing system. Using color in files to designate categories of information appeals to the right-brain design mind, while the left-brain benefits from the part-to-whole nature of color groupings. Both will love the sheer impossibility color brings for misfiling documents. Smead Viewables Labeling System makes fast work of setting up a color coded system. Fourteen color options provide enough selection for the discriminating right-brained and left-brained will embrace the easy to use, step by step process.

Whether you favor the right-brain or the left-brain, making changes to support your preferences and dominant style will keep your thinking focused, creative and productive.
