Re: America: Freedom to Fascism
With Taxes soon coming due, Freedom to Fascism may be a good video to watch, so I am commenting here to bring it back up to the top of the thread.
I have heard that there is a movement to protest taxes on April 15th, 2009 in the US in front of the US Post Offices. Aaron Russo's ~ Restore the Republic Check this website and the video top right that says "Turn Me On"! http://www.restoretherepublic.com/ Stay tuned to the site for more information coming soon regarding April 15th! Lunaris: It's bad everywhere. There is no place to hide. It will probably get worse before it gets better. Hang in there. Here is another video which is good to view together with the Russo video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjALf12PAWc. I think everyone is getting squeezed...even the governments of the world. Beam me up, Scotty! What?! It's worse on the Starship Enterprise?! Uh Oh...

Re: America: Freedom to Fascism
It does not matter where you are on this planet....we have the ability to have a virtual human paradise...but we are led by the least among us...time to break free from culture
Culture is not your friend....Terrence McKenna http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYB0VW5x8fI |

Re: America: Freedom to Fascism
I highly disagree.
When culture involves embracing people and sharing time-honored customs, I don't see how it could be dangerous. Of course, we all can look beyond culture. I am Deaf but I do not follow that specific culture. I am also Native American but I don't really follow it as much as I could. I have my own culture, my own ways, etc. You can be independent of culture and still recognize it and take the most useful elements of it to help you in your life. |

Brook: Terence McKenna was a genius. I know he was a mushroom-head...but he made a heck of a lot of sense. I talked to him once. I also talked to Timothy Leary. What a trip!

Here is a thread at Avalon about Naomi Wolf. Naomi Wolf: Americans facing coup http://projectavalon.net/forum/showt...ght=naomi+wolf I understand you will not be able to hear the video. Is there any kind of software program out there that will convert voice to text? Yes, a tax return can be like a gift every year, but wouldn't it be better if they never took your money from you in the first place and you were able to receive the interest on it instead of them? They have no right to tax you on the 'fruits of your labor'. Ron Paul supports abolishing the IRS and taxes. PaL |

Re: America: Freedom to Fascism
He was an absolute genius! I can't even imagine where he went on those trips of his...but with his mind, and from listening to him..they must have been outstanding
Humble...I meant for the video to complete my thought...I agree that culture has value, just not the established culture that has been forced on us via big media, political agendas etc...as Terrence Mckenna was explaining...in a jovial sort of way, that art should be primary..that is only in retrospect, but I do agree with you. True culture definitely needs to be redeveloped by mankind. |

That may seem naive but that's what I've always thought. I wouldn't mind being able to keep more money though. It's an uphill battle to earn enough to get by comfortably in this state. High taxes certainly don't help. However, what if you could live your life without any worry of money? Wouldn't you want that? I want that badly. |
