Default posters, posers, onlookers, dabblers

to all here...

i joined this forum the very day it opened and iv moderated on here in the past so i hope my words here are understood with big love and best intentions to everyone who cares to read...and even more for those who don’t.

there has been a lot of negative **** (excuse my language) and seems to be more bad vibes on this forum to date then there ever has been. I believe it shouldn’t be here now, or ever, or anywhere for that matter.

the thuban stuff on here and its removal as well as the removal of forum members, has stirred this place up even more so especially after the elaborate splitting of the bill and kerry partnership. there seems to be accusations flying around, finger pointing, people demanding this or that be returned etc etc. which is fine really...im all for free speech, believe me. yet it is the manner of how these things are approached.

when i first started ‘’waking up’’ as it were, my desire for more information was what can only be described as unhealthy. i wanted to know more and more about this and that...which led me on to a different this and that and onto another this which inadvertently linked back to the original that and so on...mind blowing and consciousness expanding stuff to me at the time. this, as im sure u all know...is tiring stuff and soon my curiosity started to work intuitively and i only started investigating topics which resonated with me on another level and left a lot of other stuff go...my outward seeking for all information out there was being directed by an inward knowing of what i really needed or wanted to find out. we are bigger than all of this.

the moral or reason why i am telling you all this is that there are no coincidences.

living online and in forum mode can be energy sapping, emotionally challenging and draining as well as brilliant, informative and bonding. but it is striking that balance that can be tricky. we engage thru our very limited language where our words carry our intentions and hopefully the reader/recipient will get the idea of what we’re trying to put across, but ofcourse this doesn’t always work and things become blurry. we think what we say not say what we think.

therefore with this in mind i believe we all have a responsibility to ourselves with regards to the manner in which we conduct ourselves and consequently to interact with others online...let alone in our ‘’real’’ lives. the best intentions must be at heart... to be within the centre of your own multi-verse smiling outwardly and loving inwardly.
i really can find no reason for anything other.

this seems to be a major time of upheaval for all the admin etc with this site and imho i wish them all the luck with it. as members and essentially a small community we should be grateful and considerate of the fact this place even exists. if you’ll please excuse the cliché...the only real information you need can be found no further than inside of yourself...this is the only truth you need to know.

just be
peace always, mike (aka bananaman)

hey mickey .
its great to read between the lines .
so agreeing with you , lets take it further .
Great things will come from this most energetic time .
Lets look at it like the cells dividing off to do the same again but over doubling the outcomes .
now that the flood gates are open the water flows quickly back to the sea .
what a great oppertunity to create action , to form unity , colonies of people in action rather than opinionate banter and goalless conversations .
the time to choose and create our futures is now .
for tthey are already people making our decissions for us with out consulting us because we are still playing there old game that they created for us .
they know its over wht is it we cant see it and co create a out come in alignment with the thinking people us .
lets form well defined groups with definite goals in alignment with our personal interests . with a definite outcome in mind . reporting to definite points to post the information .

ok who am i . one year ago I woke to go out to work .
I did not want to go because something big was happening in the world .
since 1993 I have been waiting for this . from that point on I have been researching what was happening . I found out .
sold my house at a lost and headed for central australia to help create a community . no one else turned up and it became a hidden agender with exception forms to be filled . as that does not align with me . i believe fear based .
I spent 6 months growing incredible vegies 100km south of tenant creek .
we were moved along so we are now in alice springs .
i have my wife and two children with me . we are very happy and vibrant . our wish is to co create active communities .
No more time wasting .

so thanks for being here

Forums exist on the world wide web. It's not a family. It may be for some, not for others. Even Tibetan monks duke it out. I guess it depends what one holds in esteem, "rationality" or "emotion" or "combo dishes" or "debate" or "otherness" or "inclusion" or "exclusion" - this is just another crisis.

Is there a pattern?

this is the process we all go through, for the hardcore 24/7 researchers i think this takes about a year. for others with jobs and familys it may take alot longer. really hits the nail on the head though.

yes, the crisis pattern is revolving and continuous (never-ending for some)... and It is so wonderful to finally get some answers to all the questions we have been stewing about for a long time. That can have a huge impact on our outlook- it gives us hope for a better future, maybe even inspires some ideas on what we would be able to change by this action or that effort...
but I think, more importantly, that we need ask ourselves “What do we do with the information that we get?”

so my question is... Are we learning for the sake of just learning? Are we learning for the sake of cyber companionship? or is there a next step to go out and do something with that information... I mean- we all came here to find the truth because we were fed up with the way our lives were being manipulated and suppressed, and we all wanted to be able to do something about it, right?

so how has that really changed? Has escaping into a cyberworld of like-minded new friends done anything to really change our physical lives in our respective corners of the world? (and yes I am guilty of it too)... and how has that helped to get the word out to others in our own communities? I am realizing that not everyone has a computer available to them, and even if they did- they are probably still caught up in the gerbils’ wheel of trying to keep their lives from crashing into the ground... just like we were before we found this forum...

I would really like to hear about (and celebrate) peoples successes in getting the word out to their local communities (maybe start a dedicated thread)... I think that is the reason this site got started... to find the truth and then to pass that info on to others around us that we CAN reach. Everyone here on Avalon is desiring to gather together and join in a “Avalon real-world-community”, right? but everyone is so far away from each other- that it makes that desire virtually impossible (it is frustrating to me too, because there is no one around where I live that I can connect up with)... Alex Collier talked about the need for a grass roots (holographic) effort, right? How can we do that if we –each of us in our own areas – don’t even go out into the world that we live in to let people know about this stuff? I think that if we get the word out to the people around us- we would probably find that there are a lot more people who would want to start getting back to “community-supportiveness” – however that develops in each area- then we would have guessed.

People should put that in their signature.

This very simple message needs to get across once and for all.

I think I understand you. I do not believe in external censorship but on a personal sense of what is good (in a sense 'self-censorship'). Perhaps there is too much negativity around and this is utopic for now, specially on the internet.

I also started absorbing too much info (in an 'unhealthy' way) but now I believe that is not too important. I know something is going on, something important probably related with 2012, and I think I should concentrate on developing myself spiritually. Some news on how things are developing are ok IMO, but the key thing is to develop your inner self and maybe help other people to do the same.

I love this thread!

Here in the land where much is put on appearances and nothing is exactly what it appears to be ("lotusland"), my friends and in the 70's used to pogo to a London band, X-Ray Specs. Pauli Styrine was an abductee... that's what she told my friend, at least. One way or the other, her band rocked....

Listen... and pose shamelessly! (just don't lie).

It's not about being phoney, it's having been there and done that... and earning your place on the stage - a party, sidewalk, park or internet forum near you.

As a long-time member here, I just pay little or no attention to this Thuban distraction and the mess it has caused. It was well-timed, well-planned and it accomplished one of two goals:

1. Turn the founders of Avalon and Camelot against each other (albeit temporarily..hopefully)
2. Attempt to alienate forum members and throw a huge wrench into the works

The rule of the thumb here is to not put energy into such distractions. I knew from the start that the Thuban thread was nothing more than badly-written porn novel disguised as a new-age revelation and backed by a naive co-founder of Avalon/Camelot (and I have forgiven her).

I am just a student and I want to absorb as much as I can about the world around me and filter out the "crap".

When this disaster is over, the ones who are still contributing to this forum will be the people who have actually grown from being members of this place.

I totally agree with you Mikey. There is energies that certainly does impact on everyone, we simply react to it in different manners.

Threads based on confusion, debates, are extremly popular. While thread that reminds us to focus on our inner spirit are down fast below the piles. I see it as the exteriorisation of the victim consciousness. A lot of creative energy goes into debates in our world, while much less goes into New creative expression of Life.

It is not a reason to be depressed, it is just as we, generally speaking, are. Nevertheless, we are on the verge of a different approach, a different type of consciousness, tired of all this confusion and debates. I see it as a virus coming out finally after being so long into the body, the effects are increased just before it comes out.

Namaste, Steven

I was here in the beginning too, except I went by the name Cosmic Comedian. Very interesting outlook btw. What other from the start ,homies, on this forum have thoughts on this type of forum vibe? Oh yeah, I had to bounce once the era of the money came through, so i dont know what the forum was like during that time. I am curious what it was like though. What the vibe was like? Only positive energy?

I'm here for the community, for the interesting discussion, for updates and alternative news sources, and not to mention I'm a fan of Camelot/Avalon so I like to keep in touch with it all.
