Time to lift the lid on Natures Miracle Plant
Hi All
There was a thread about drug wars and someone took a swipe at Pot (Cannabis Sativa). Well, I was thinking that it is indeed time we looked at what we have that is natural and freely available. I had occasion to have skin cancer removed from both my lower eyelids. As a result, I now have no lashes down there and things are not the same, as you can well imagine. They used the cartelage from my ears to rebuild the one lid and the other was okay, just no lashes but relatively intact. Why I share this is to get to a certain point and that is the pain killers prescribed by the doctor, and boy were they expensive. I'm not much for chemical drugs, I hardly ever take a pill of any type and only resort to a headache pill in extreme cases. When I went home with both eyes closed from the battering recieved from the surgeon's knife, the pain was intense. Not being an angel and having smoked a few in my time, I made a plan and came by enough to roll myself 3 tiny joints. I had already flushed the painkillers down the loo which is where that stuff belongs. I had my first smoke and guess what, I didn't get high as a kite but the pain was gone within 2 minutes, totally gone. I used one more joint a day later and tossed the third as I didn't need it. The research into cannabis is extensive and not to be laughed off out of hand. We could do away with the petro chemical industry virtually overnight and the wood pulp industry for paper which is an inferior and devastating crop, if we were to convert to using cannabis for it's many many wonderful products, the least of them being people getting happy from a toke here and there. Re: Time to lift the lid on Natures Miracle Plant
Im still gobsmacked that this isnt common knowledge right now. People obviously arent spreading the word for fear of persecution. Ive my family clued in and will the necessary steps should another one of us get cancer. They say its in our "genes" but i know for the fact that its not our genes but the attitudes and emotional states that have been passed from mother to daughter, father to son that causes this terrible disease.
The oil from cannabnis sativa has been PROVEN to cure cancer, time and time again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjhT9282-Tw Two mice were treated with medical marijuana. One was not ;- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-52S...c-HM-fresh+div Last edited by Jack; 04-07-2009 at 02:06 PM. |

No big profits for the Big Pharma from letting the health benefits become widely known........ so as with everything that's beneficial to our health and well being that stops them from making money, they make it illegal. Mmmm who are the real criminals here???

Re: Time to lift the lid on Natures Miracle Plant
Well, I for one, have had the internet for 10 yrs, almost 11 and I considered myself "late" in that regard.
And, I've used this tool for research ad nauseum... I would not prefer life without the internet, let's say. Here we are now.. those of us who have utililized this tool for it's value and not sending fowards all the day long about goody two shoes ****! You know the ones that do... so, that said... I too am startled that many, most others are not aware of 'jack diddly' about 'jack diddly'... and THAT said.. who is to say that what we think we know is ALL THAT... we could stil be VERY decieved right? Chances are though, that our top minds are also, if we are, that is deceived! Which is why I remain neutral... I take that neutral stance and apply it toward survival. A good friend of mine, actually, was a man that I felt was the love of my life (never to be sort of thing)... he said life was all about survival... I bucked back that "yeah, well, if that's all it is, I want no part"...<<< hear that??? and now here we are all talking about survival, whether physical or spiritual... I mean, I've read that our SOULS can be destroyed! OMG< and there were times when I was so fed up with life that I thought it might be the "ticket" to just have life END and be done with it. Hell, we dont' remember chit anyway... what a kind way for "god" to deal with it all... we just die and it's OVER>... I'm on a roll tonight~! Am I off topic? lol Heartfelts always! |

Re: Time to lift the lid on Natures Miracle Plant
Things are so twisted today, that people think that if there is no law against something, that makes it okay.
Alcohol kills and maims more people than any other "legal" substance out there. Pot creates a depency as well... but the level and consequence does not compare with alcohol. Anyone that has looked into the subject of marijuana and its benefits... well, there is NO argument about it.... cannibas is rightly heralded & wrongly trashed. But that does not deminish the mind control/programming that has been successfully imprinted into the minds of most... People think that if there is a man made Law, that it must have merit. If there is NO law.... that makes it condoned... No, that makes a personal decision/responsibilty... This illegal pot b'ness is just a classic example of mind control... Period! It's legal... |

Amen to this entire thread. It's always good to know there are more people of all ages out there that think think the same way I do. Hell, even my mom, who is 72 ,is always bitching that they need to legalize it already. Granted I think that just so she didn't have to grow it in secret in the basement

This thought has been promulgated by the PTB because they cannot "own" all the small farmers who could be making a decent living out of this cash crop. Note I say "cash crop" and NOT "drug crop" The poppy is also a flower !!! Z |

Re: Time to lift the lid on Natures Miracle Plant
Sometimes I write hastily (as above perhaps_... my point is that people can become dependent on many things... my girflriend is hooked on chocolate milk! (ok that's a poor example lol) ... but yes, plenty of people become dependent on pot!
I do NOT think that marijuana should be illegal to buy, sel, or grow, nor do most of the police and judges that I know, yet they still have to "practice" the law as it's their job... (whatever).... Laws do not stop people from using. It's commonly known, yet it's just another one of those things that we can't seem to get changed!!! What I meant in my former post is that alcohol, being legal, is a far greater killer of people than marijuana... My mother, who is 86 was prescribed THC after her heart surgery to improve her appetite, yet, of course, insurance doesn't pay for that.. and it cost $400 a month!!! This world is seemingly designed to make us all nuts!!! If anything, idea, is good, reasonable or true, it gets shafted! That's my rant for the night. |

Re: Time to lift the lid on Natures Miracle Plant
I find alcohol, cigarettes, porn, and fast food more damaging to individuals and society than pot ever has been. laziness is about the only negative side affect. I mean really. what so bad about it? should be treated like alcohol. 21 and older. shoot booze can kill you if you quit cold turkey and its sevier enough. pot is habit forming. but not addictive. like tobacco and booze. pot its like being addicted to sugar in comparison. and nothing bad ever happens if it were to be used as recreation or with free spirit. I personally don't drink. maybe a bear now and then. never did like drinking. but I will have a toke now and then. when the times is right. there are movements here in california that are pushing for making it more legal. as it should be. sell it at a coffee shop. why not. with your starbucks in the morning. Ill have a hashish espresso please. on a lazy sunday..
I find caffein more addictive than pot. or at least in the same scale. Last edited by dagon; 04-12-2009 at 06:40 AM. |
