your brain and ultrasonics
how does this work.........we all have cars vans motorcycles with alarms and keyless entry systems....if you are approaching your vehical and press your "blipper", and are out of range (it does'nt work) place the fob to your head and look at your vehical it operates the alarm / central locking or deactivates it ...whatever you are trying to do, i have purposely went out of range of my car pointed the fob pressed....nothing put it to my head ...it works, now experimenting a little more i got one of my border collie dogs to sit put the blipper to his head nothing tried the other border collie we have (tilly a bitch) and it worked every time but with tarn (the dog ) does'nt flicker....any thoughts or ideas, thankyou

Re: your brain and ultrasonics
yeah thats where i initially saw it and i still find it amazing, it also works with telly and dvd remotes ect, its wierd but like i said it did not work on our pooch but it did the bitch, it makes you wonder why we have as humans such a large brain for our frame size, and we only use is it 17% or something of its capacity, i am sure i use at least 10%!!!!

Re: your brain and ultrasonics
You'll look a bit daft walking around the streets zapping your head though.
I tried it once, but the look on my daughters face soon put a stop to that. |

Re: your brain and ultrasonics
Question is, do you really want to transmit that pulse right through your head? :P

Re: your brain and ultrasonics
I sure don't want that going through my body's circuits and brain circuits!
Anyhew.... never heard of that. Very interesting. A clue to how our body's circuits are being bombarded by external inputs. |

Re: your brain and ultrasonics
Oh yeah, we're walking antennae. Have you ever struggled for reception and held the bunny ears only to get a great picture. Then when you let go you get static again!?
We're are being altered by the radiowaves and microwaves constantly bombarding us 24/7. The high power TETRA masts that have been going up everywhere in the UK for the emergency services use the same frequency as your brain. You think that's coincidence? Could this affect our dreams while we sleep and our concious awareness? The water in our bodies bares far more significance than you may think and this is what resonates with the signals which is why we're wakling antennae. I've never felt so much like a pair of bunny ears. |

Perhaps the "pooch" is dehydrated ? Try giving him a good drink and try it again. (I find I can do amazing things when I've had a good drink !) |

Re: your brain and ultrasonics
You don't have to put the remote against your head, it works if you put onto the palm of your hand and point it towards the car as well. The body acts as a large antenna - after all, we are mostly water.
This won't work with TV remotes because they use Infra Red light - if you are bored and want to see what IR light looks like, take a digital camera - even one on a mobile phone will do, look through the digital camera at the IR LED on the remote and you can see infra red light coming out when you press buttons. That's because most digital cameras don't have an IR filter. This of course doesn't work on SLR's, only digital compact cameras. As far as being bombarded with radio signals - just take a look at a frequency spectrum chart and you'll see how many different types of services are there. People are worried about mobiles phones, yet, they don't care about everything else. http://www.ntia.doc.gov/osmhome/allochrt.html Last edited by _N_; 11-01-2008 at 06:42 PM. |
