Default The Language of Flowers ..

As Valentines day approaches i often get asked by friends and acquaintances a variety of questions...

Some are about the obvious capitalistic "crunch"of the day...

Most do not realize that farmers up their prices and therefore florists pay more for stock, thats why they charge more at Valentines day..

Some want to know how to "give something speacial""..

I have a gazillion ideas!

Heres a sample..

Order a dozen roses to be delivered to your loves work..but ask florist to only deliver 11 roses , you will pick up the 12th and deliver it in person later that night...

Many of my clients are not aware that flowers have a language that dates back to the Victorian age...

When you put red roses with white roses...its speaks of unity and togetherness...

If you have any questions about flowers do not hesitate to ask..

I am very passionate about my work...and pray to be reincarnated as a bee in my next life..

The language of flowers is way older than victorian age!! Since flowers began of course.

I would be wary of praying to go back to animal form, however romantic that seems.

Flowers are a wonderful thing in our lives, God bless the bees

Yes flowers have "spoken"for eons...

i am told by friends much more educated then myself .....for a very long time , flowering plants were the most complex life form on this planet...

but..

that is not what i meant.

"The language of flowers, sometimes called floriography, was a Victorian-era means of communication in which various flowers and floral arrangements were used to send coded messages, allowing individuals to express feelings which otherwise could not be spoken.""
