Re: pineal gland awakening
A Little about Star Nation People The meaning of the term Star Nations to the Native American are many. It refers to the stars of the night sky and could even refer to the sunlight that glistens on rippling water. Many tribal nations have stories about the stars and many have origins from them. They are referred to as a relative, as they are close to us and so may be called the Star Nation people. Native people also believe there are other beings in our universe who would also be called relatives. They too would be referred to as the Star Nation people. Bearcloud had a vision in which he believed he might have had some form of communication with such beings that left him with the following message. In 1999, the Star Nation people told him that our planet has an aura like a person. There are beings in the universe that can read this like a book and are very sensitive to it. He was given an example of how to understand it. They said to look at the planet in a different way. If one were to observe a country, not as a country, but as a person with a personality, then what would a country like USA look like and what is its personality? Or, what is the personality of the country of England, France or Japan, and how do these personalities integrate with each other and how do they respond to other countries as personalities? The culmination of these personalities is what creates the aura of the planet Earth. They suggested this could be read like a book and was very visible to certain beings. They suggested our planet's aura is in seriously bad shape. We are seen as a planet out of harmony, very caught up in its unhealed qualities. They said to imagine each person of the country as a cell in the body of the country. Each functions individually but also comes together as one, to create the body and personality of the country. If one were to take an honest look at their country, what is its personality? They said these personalities can change but the way to really change it is one cell at a time, or in this case, one person at a time. When enough people change, the personality changes and so does the aura of that country. If one looks into the history of their country with honest open eyes, they can see how it has shifted over time. All of the personalities of these countries emit an aura that goes together as one planet that reaches into to the universe. What is the aura of the planet Earth? It is important for the planet to evolve to a higher order. It is also important that we be heard and respected on our journey in our universe. Soon we will be finding our way into the universe and will come to realize there is more that exists and there are many important Star Nation relatives. Re: pineal gland awakening
The Circle First Nations people believe in a creation-based form of spirituality which has at its centre, the symbol of the sacred circle. The circle represents a harmonious relationship with nature and with all living things who are our relatives and that all things are connected and equal because in a circle there is no beginning and no end. Mother Earth is often referred to as a Medicine Wheel or Sacred Hoop because she is circular and she also turns in a circle. As Black Elk taught: "Birds make their nests in circles; we dance in circles, the circle stands for the Sun and Moon and all round things in the natural world. The circle is an endless creation, with endless connections to the present, all that went before and all that will come in the future." http://www.shannonthunderbird.com/me..._teachings.htm Last edited by day; 08-09-2009 at 09:50 PM. |

Re: pineal gland awakening
The Talking Circle The talking circle is a traditional way for Native American people to solve problems. It is a very effective way to remove barriers and to allow people to express themselves with complete freedom. For this reason, it is becoming more and more popular in mainstream society. The talking circle is making its appearance in schools, corporate board rooms and team dressing rooms around the world, for the simple reason that the technique works very well. The symbolism of the circle, with no beginning and with nobody in a position of prominence, serves to encourage people to speak freely and honestly about things that are on their minds. Everyone sits in a circle, generally with men to the North and women to the South. The conductor of the circle will generally sit in the East. A token, such as a feather or a special talking stick, is passed clockwise around the circle. As each person receives the token, they may speak for as long as they wish, including addressing a topic brought up by another in the circle. When they have finished, they pass the token along. If someone does not wish to speak, they simply pass the token. The token may go around several times; when everyone has had the opportunity to speak as many times as they wish, the conductor ends the circle. The most common type of circle is a simple sharing circle, where people just share whatever they have to say. There is no particular purpose or theme, and many fascinating side-trips often happen. The sharing circle is also an excellent introduction to ceremonies, and is a great learning tool for those who are just discovering traditional Aboriginal ways. We frequently incorporate such circles in our gatherings, and find that the circles generate a feeling of harmony and kinship in those who participate. Another type of circle is used to mediate problems between people, either individuals or groups. Again, very often all that is required for a solution to such problems is the opportunity to hear and speak in complete honesty, so that both sides of the problem become aware of the impact of the problem on the other party. In these circles, the conductor guides the participants toward finding their own equitable solution to their problem, since a solution that is created by the participants is the most likely to work over the long term. There are a few very simple guidelines that allow a talking circle to function: 1) Only one person speaks at a time - only the person holding the feather or talking stick may speak. Dialogues are not part of the circle, as they can become confrontational. 2) Introduce yourself - it is polite to introduce yourself in the first round. Use your spirit name, if you have one; otherwise, use your given name. 3) Speak from the heart - the speaker should address the circle from the heart, and may speak for as long as they need to, with respect for the time of others. 4) Listen with respect - all people except the speaker listen attentively and give support to the speaker. Listening with the heart allows you to hear the true intent beneath what the speaker is saying. Listen in the way you expect others to hear you. 5) What is said in the circle stays in the circle - never repeat anything that is said within the circle, unless you have the permission of the speaker. When convening a circle, smudging the participants with sage will help dispel any negativity they may be carrying with them. In a way, it's like 'wiping' your spiritual 'feet' before entering the circle. As well, keeping a sage smudge burning during the circle, particularly when emotions are intense, will help keep negativity from entering. Last edited by day; 08-16-2009 at 05:45 PM. |
