LOL don't sugar coat it, why don't you tell us how you really feel...

I totally agree so much injustice in the world and here we have a gathering of light beings and our concentration isn't on working to make the world better, it is directed towards whining that a post disappeared...

I would rather be hearing prayers of strength to the women in the world that need our energy to change the "their" world for the better...

What a C***P !
Have I understood it right
( by reading your posts in "being humble" thread)

that you are a CHRISTIAN, and living in Serbia ?

What are your thoughts about the massrapes during the Bosnian War,
(Estimates of the numbers raped range from 20,000 to 50,000)

Rape was used as a weapon of war, it was systematic raping and sexual enslavement.

Muslim women were specifically targeted
as the rapes against them were one of the many ways in which the Serb forces could assert
their superiority and victory over the Bosniaks.

This question is very close to my heart,
as Finland's ex president Martti Ahtisaari (Nobel Peace Prize 2008)
was United Nation's special envoy at the Kosovo status process negotiations, Kosovo got independence of Serbia.

Another finn, (a woman) Elisabeth Rehn, was Un special rapporter
on the situation of human rights in republic of Croatia, FRY, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And one more finn (a woman ) Helena Ranta, was a leader for international forensic team
in opening of the mass graves in Bosnia and thus bringing the truth to the world.

So much fighting over absolute nonsense.

I'm upset that Turkey is moving towards Sharia Law, the Taliban is negotiating to end the war,

do any of you understand what that means?
I do.

I was born in a country, FINLAND, where women and men were and are equal.

Finland was the first country in the world to give equal,
full political rights to women in 1906,
(which actually was eleven years before Finland got independence, back then Finland was an autonomous Grand Duchy of Russia.)

Women could fully exercise their voting rights and stand for elective office.

Annemirri,
First of all ,who ever went in war in ex Yugoslavia and killed was not a real Christian.

I do not support wars and all surrounding them.
But Since you pride yourself about Ahtisari , I have to advise you to get more info about what was really happening in Bosnia and Croatia. Unless off course you believe CNN and western media for truth there...

If you want real info ,search it better.
Root cause of that war was in CIA plans for Balkans.
Everything that happened was a brother`s slaughter there.
A people who lived together for centuries now suddenly made terrible war?
Come on...

Please, get real info not propaganda of western governments.

Beren,

Finland is a neutral country,
people well educated, independent thinkers,
that is why finns were negotiating the peace, United Nations rapporters...

I listened and I listen to those two finnish ladies,
and I respect Mr Ahtisaari,
who went there themselves to talk with local people, women and men, to hear their stories, share their pain.

We have to learn from their stories
how to prevent future wars, massrapes, hatred...

it has nothing to do with western propaganda.

I am afraid that you do not have a clue about situation in ex Yugoslavia and Balkans in last 1000 years.

Our main trouble is that we live on the crossroad.

Even from ancient times the place where we live is basically very rich and under many influences.
Many throughout history wished a piece of this land.

Now with all due respect ,Finland is in the middle of nowhere.
Who is interested in Finland? I mean from history to now.

Your geographical position is such that no one is seriously interested in conquering Finland now or in the past, except Russia because you were on their door step.

Finns are well educated but other than that, they don`t have a clue about other cultures southern from them.
Simply vast distance was and is a barrier in all, from mentality to economic prospects.

While you were and are able to work in peace and create quality stuff ,so far we are constantly fighting for survival because of Hungarian ,Austrian ,German ,Russian interests down here.

Have you read an interview recently from Ahtisari`s ex close assistant in all that he did in negotiating ?
She stated that Marti threatened her and all staff that they suppress all real facts and do as they were told.

Sad thing is that she comes out of the closet 10 years and more from actual happenings.

No Annemirri, you are not still informed about truth here.
Linda Baker, a member here in Avalon suggested me to write about some things happening here in this part of the world and I am thinking to do that.
Many people do not know the real truth. They rely on what they were told by official press in their countries.

Sorry to say this but I would not trust Ahtisari & crew at any time.

But again ,I will still think of that writing since beside all that truth here, I personally believe there are more important things globally for people than ranting about the past here.

Beren,

as you do not know me,
I would suggest that you do not jump in (negative) conclusion to quick,
how do you know what I do know ?

What comes to finns, Finland, they were real outsiders, as you wrote,
living in peace on their own in far north, no need to constantly fight for survival.

So they had TIME TO THINK in peace, in nature,
what is really important in life,
what our lives are about without any world religious influences...

until the TIME came to take more active role in World Politics,
as peace negotiators...

By the way,
Finland has had a WOMAN President, well known PACIFIST since 2000..

I conclude things on basis how your present them here.

And what does have to do with all this ,that Finland has female president ?
Who really cares.
Germany has chancellor but did Germany change?
Queen Victoria was in 19th century the most powerful person on earth -did that changed anything?

Margaret Thatcher was a prime minister of UK - they called her iron lady- did that change a darn thing in world?

All this 8th March thing and all that we now talk in this thread was imposed on us by communism early on. And communism is conceived in minds of Carl Marx and Friedrich Engels - well known Satanists ,both of them.

SO when you pick up all pieces of the puzzle you come to the very thing that you denounce at the beginning. Creator of the universe.

All ideas that he is actually SHE came from Luciferians AKA enlightened Satanists and masons. They brought those cults and ideas deeply inbedded in their own twisted teachings.

New age philosophies, communism,socialism,feminism...

They were partially good but deeper meaning was horrible for entire mankind.
One of their prime target was a woman. Her role in society and politics, family and work place.
As you can notice , a serious downgrade of women started to happen from early 2oth century to now on.

True ,women had a lot of positive things coming on from changes, but in reality they were never more fragile, saddened, non happy, abused, misused, and terrified about the future than nowadays.

Greatest harm that women today have is illusions. Illusions that they can change things and that they are actually in better position today.

World is still ruled by men, evil men and they do not care for women at all.Women are expendable for them.
Women are merchandise for them nowadays.
Women are driving force of materialistic world as we know it since all is concentrated on them to buy buy buy and use use use and more buy buy buy ...

Sex sales ,you know that phrase. Well actually women are sexualized to sell everything.
Now don `t get me wrong, women are abused since controllers know that women are so precious .

Now ,I wrote all that since I see in your responses a strong feminist and somewhat daydreamer of modern politics.

I do not think you`re bad person. Just living too much in clouds regarding how this world functions.

Wasn't the post about women and not about the wonders of finland, respectfully speaking of finland.

is there a way to get back on the fact that we even need a womens day?

Isnt it a shame that it has to be pointed out?

Friends I wish you happy human day!!!

Dear Harper,

I asked Beren about his opinion about massrapes in the Bosnian War,
as that has been the greatest horror that has happened to european women in past twenty years.

I wanted to know if there had been away to prevent all that.

Beren has promoted himself as a deep christian and humble man,
without any sense of pride or arrogance, so I was willing to listen to his wise opinions.

What comes to Finland, New Zealand gave women the right to vote first,
Finland gave FULL POLITICAL RIGHTS first.

When women have POWER to vote and to be elected things change for them,
as they can decide about their own lives.

It is about EMPOWERING women, bringing the female perspective.

And YES we do still need women's day,
to bring women's issues and needs, right back to the limelight.

Annemirri,
The situation in the Balkans has been too complicted to talk about it in the men-women terms....What happened in the Balkans was orchestrated by TPTB and manipulted till the very end. The situation is too complicated there to think in the category of black and white. Behind any atrocities and genocide there is a hidden agenda of a few...
If one wants to stir up a conflict, one can do it in any place....(Ruanda, now Nigeria, Sudan).
I am sure you know how women are treated by Albanian men, in many Muslim countries, in many Asian countries,etc...

yes yes yes, got to look at the hidden agenda and how easily people carry it out without even knowing they are led to do so.
meanwhile here in blighty it is Mother's Day! Another wonderful hallmark holiday.
There is a war between the sexes and if one denies it , how can anyone understand the war so ready to leap out inside us all? That war was created long ago, and I still dont understand but one thing I do know, two days a year that honor women is a pretty funny thing to observe.

Women at one time had so much power and that was greatly feared ." They" tried to and suceeded to repress the emerging real power of women through the CIA funded women's movement. Don't believe it? Check out Gloria Steinam being on the CIA payroll. No better way to take away the power of women than to ghettoise them and /or make them into low grade men. As if lesbianism gave them power, ha ha, it certainly gave them no offspring and disconnected them from the real and very feared power that can no longer be repressed , or at least not without killing us all . The game is real, the stakes are high, the pawns are willing. The concensus trance is very deep and has been proven here , even among the so called aware , maybe especially.

Oh dear,
please, keep things in perspective,

I was not talking or writing about the whole Balkan or Bosnian war,
I just brought on the table the women's issue, massrapes.

And, YES, I am more than aware about mutilation of women in many countries, I do read my newspapers, many, from different countries,
and different sources, in different languages...

I do not have strong opinions about anything,

I am open to listen and learn, to change,

and I do the best I ever could, if I were given the chance.

Why do people so often suppose, jump into conclusions,
that others do not know anything, are not aware, or do not even care.

I do care.

In the middle of Finland there lived a female tribe,
that had some sort of connection to the stars, as their origin is unknown,
lot of mysteries connected to them.

The proven facts are they lived on a high hill, part of which was a fortress,
when they needed more children, they invaded the neigbouring villages and stole the most virile men to have children with.

after the sex act they returned the men and boys born back to the villages.

(if anyone interested I try to find a link in english, I went to an exhibition about them a few years ago, where they had reconstructed some of their
weird outfits etc.)

Well that is indeed extremely hard nowadays since you`d have to start from zero point.

In essence there are no differences between man and a woman. Even the word wo-man in English originated from the word womb-man.

Before Creator there are no sexes.
Creator is not a male or female. Creator is a spirit.

Also men seek to find that perfect women for them as a other half of their being and also women do opposite.

One of my solutions to help women is from early on when you have a baby girl , to raise her with full objectivity ,as you would raise a baby boy.
To teach her everything you would teach a boy with all respect to her sex.

But real trouble comes in teen years where world takes over and simply ruins your efforts as a parent.
It is extremely hard to teach kids then.
You can see that in this modern world where women are "empowered" ,you can see on teen girls how they dress as prostitutes , are extremely promiscuous, doing drugs etc. just because they think they have "power" now.
Look at this situation from this angle ; in your Finland and all northern European countries girls and boys from age 16 to 22 are deadly drunk on Friday and Saturday nights.
Why?
They have illusion that they are "empowered".
As years pass by we see more girls than boys doing that actually.
You have now term in UK - laddete. That`s a young drinking woman who act as a drunk man and wreak havoc on UK `s streets early in the morning after heavy drinking.

And what is more strange ,you don`t find that behavior in large scale in other European countries.

You can come here or any country southern from Scandinavia and UK and simply you won`t find that behavior.

That doesn`t mean that women are better here , it just means that they have other problems here.
You on northern countries have swallowed a lie pill long ago and think that women are better off there...
Really - no.

That is why I write that root of the solution does not lie in empowering women, it lies in taking blood suckers out of this planet in order that all may live and thrive.
You will see then how women are really treated from men, with full dignity as you all deserve. You are us and we are you.

When I read your posts I find you quite extremist,
your world view being black and white.

How much have you travelled yourself ? lived in different countries ?
Have you actually been yourself in any of Scandinavian countries ?
how many languages do you speak ?

I have been privileged enough to have lived in Usa, Finland, Scotland, Wales...
and summer months I have spent in southern European countries.

My own children who are teenagers 14 and 16 and half, have had friends
from Iran, Egypt, Bangladesh, Russia, Japan, Argentina, Usa....

When you travel (not just as a tourist) and talk to local people,
and listen to their stories, and you share your own, you soon find that we are not that different.

What comes to drinking in Scandinavia,
it is just a small minority that makes the headlines.
