Are TPTB waiting for the 2010 census?
I just came across a brochure for job openings to be a census taker. upon reading through it out of curiosity, It finally dawned on me that the census is nothing more than an inventory of us as assets to the Corporation of the U.S.
I then considered that what ever may be coming as far as martial law or extreme government crackdown that it would make sense to gather as much information first, (in the guise of a census) before making the next move. this is just a thought I had but would like everyones thoughts. |

From what I have seen, they are aggressively hiring census takers.
Intuitively, I get the impression that this data is going to be used for purposes other than the official reasons given. Nothing new here... |

Re: Are TPTB waiting for the 2010 census?
Here in the US, while watching the Olympics, were are treated to a Census commercial about every 10 minutes.
They're insistence on "too much" information bothers me. I've spoken of this before but, with this Census comes many new abilities for government to meddle. GPS data for one. If you take: GPS data + Resident's name + Gun ownership You now have a nice map of exactly who and where the large collections of guns are. I am not comfortable with that, just for starters. Fred

Re: Are TPTB waiting for the 2010 census?
Censuses have been around since before Jesus Christ. The New Testament puts Mary and Joseph in a manger in Bethlehem because of a census.
Its the questions that continue to get more and more invasive with each decade's tabulation. But they tell you that your schools will not receive proper funding if you don't fill out the form fully. Why does it matter if I own firearms or property in another state? Uncle Sam's data-mining of other databases already gives them that information. |

Re: Are TPTB waiting for the 2010 census?
I realize that the census has been around for a while now and becoming more invasive.
The question I was trying to pose, (and not to fear monger) is do people feel that TPTB are waiting on the results to calculate their next move, as in a chess game. and, can this be used as a timeline to anticipate coming events. ie economic turmoil, and so on. does anyone know when the results come out?? |

Blessings Paul,
Does this help your reasoning? PaL From G. Edward Griffin's website: http://www.realityzone.com/currentperiod.html US: Local governments, instead of trying to eliminate illegal aliens, are encouraging them to participate in the census, because larger numbers will quality for more seats in Congress and more federal funding. For these politicians, greed is stronger than patriotism. Fox News 2010 Mar 4 (Cached) With Money on the Line, Local Governments Urge Illegal Immigrants to Fill Out Census By Judson Berger - FOXNews.com Updated March 04, 2010 Cities, counties and states that haven't been very kind to illegal immigrants over the years are suddenly dusting off their welcome mats. With the 2010 census about to get under way, those undocumented residents will be worth a lot of money for the next few weeks. Cities, counties and states that haven't been very kind to illegal immigrants over the years are suddenly dusting off their welcome mats. With the 2010 census about to get under way, those undocumented residents will be worth a lot of money for the next few weeks. Jurisdictions across the country are reaching out to illegal immigrant communities, some of which are reluctant to participate, in an effort to convince them that filling out the census form is safe and that the information they provide won't be used against them. Census has been going on since the Roman Empire and maybe before that.
I'm pretty sure they were even more aggressive back then. I am not worried about it. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVlkZVAw8Gc |
