Re: pineal gland awakening
For me it's today that your thread opened it's doors. I was far from imagining that behind it's title I would find the entire indian community and spirit . I am so glad day that you set up your camp here. From the bounderies of Avalon's garden I can now see rivers and land covered with wild horses and tepees and I can hear the sound of the drums that my indian brothers and sisters are beating. What a wonderfull surprise . Thank you day Love always mudra Last edited by mudra; 08-14-2009 at 09:58 AM. |

Re: pineal gland awakening
According to a Lakota legend, the red-headed woodpecker taught a poor young suitor how to make and play the first flute. The suitor was then able to win the respect of his tribe and the hand of the chief's beautiful daughter. That is why their flutes are made to resemble this bird. Pawnee mythology tells a story of the Woodpecker and the Turkey. The Woodpecker and the Turkey once had a debate as to which bird should be called the protector of humankind. The turkey felt she deserved the title since she laid the largest clutch of eggs. However, the woodpecker's cautious ways won the argument since she kept her young safely nestled inside the tall tree trunks. Although the woodpecker laid fewer eggs, the survival rate of her young was greater than that of the turkey's because she taught them so well that they were certain to live to old age. The messages that Woodpecker brings are many, so one must choose that message which resonates. One message is to speak one’s truth and march to the beat that one hears in their heart. Another message concerns how you send out your message – is it clear and full of meaning and rhythm, or is it chaotic without meaningful rhythm? Does it show a deep relationship to the Earth and therefore grounded behaviour, or does it speak of one who is ungrounded, flighty, and sends mixed messages about their journey? The drumming out of territory speaks of someone who aggressively takes a stand on issues. However, are you too aggressive and therefore controlling and domineering? Do you need to relax your views and allow room for the views of others? May you find the beat and rhythm that allows you to be part of the Earth and to find the path that gives you the easiest journey Love always mudra |

Re: pineal gland awakening
Wow ... I opened my eyes this morning and thanked the Creator for this day. I thanked Him for the friends i had and the beauty of Love and walking with a good heart. I thanked the Creator for healing, for laughter, sharing and learning. I am thankful that I can learn from the Creator and for all that is in my culture, for our Elders and those that remember the old ways and teach us walk in beauty.
A name is from the place in you that was birthed from the Creator ... it will carry you in times of joy and difficulty. When I saw the People being born from the Creator I saw that they were birthed in their walk on this beautiful Earth. I saw dancers and healers, hunters, mothers and elders. Even a small baby will carry his name and an Elder or medicine person will be able to search his name. A name may come in stages, A name for when they are a child, then as they grow older into teenage years another name, as an adult they will carry will have a full grown name. One can fast to find their name. In prayer to the Creator and be shown their name. The Creator may show them their name in any way, but they will recognize the meaning, they will know it. So you can fast, and take no water or food. Every native culture is different in what they offer to the Creator. Some give tobacco, or cornmeal, Some cultures do not give tobacco at all. A song is also in thanks to the Creator. Whatever you want to give to the Creator, what is in your heart and spirit to give. Some have more than one name. The Creator can give you a secret name, one that you dont share with anyone. Its between you and the Creator. Walk in beauty |

Re: pineal gland awakening
Indian pipe Oh, Great Spirit – Lakota Prayer Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me. I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people. Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength, not to be superior to my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy – myself. Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes, so when life fades, as the fading sunset, my spirit will come to you without shame. –Chief Yellow Lark, Lakota Tribe Thank you Love always She Who Listens Last edited by mudra; 08-14-2009 at 09:55 PM. |
