Oliver Stone on the Colbert Report

I know T.V. is a bit taboo here, but I'll take the chance anyway. I'm stuck at home on a friday night (had Blues home opener tickets), sick as a dog, so T.V. it is. I would certainly agree that at least 90% the programming out there is garbage. In my humble opinion though, there is some worthwhile social commentary on Colbert's show and he is just funny. Also DVR is great for sorting out the garbage not to mention the commercials (Sorry, I know that if you watched the clip, you were forced to watch an ad. No choice though.) In this interview about Stone's film "W.", Stone seems to exude heavy sarcasm in suggesting things like W suspending elections and war w/ Iran. Stone is more than likely in touch w/ some high level gov. insiders, which may suggest his sarcasm is cover for conveying what they are contemplating. Re: Oliver Stone on the Colbert Report
You just might be correct.
He sure takes a LOT of flak from people. Does that mean he is 'On to Something'? |
