Re: This time last year......
Ok, so which of you thought to stock up on toilet paper ??
Could get messy without it, right ? ..... I bought a couple of rolls of tin foil too (to make hats out of) |

Re: This time last year......
I had to laugh about the tin foil. See, I'm from south Georgia where we say tin foil, and my mate is originally from Alaska, and he says Aluminum foil. It's actually the only thing we disagree on, lol. I did forget to put that on my list to go with our other "necessities", but the paper was near the top of my list.

Re: This time last year......
Lol.. Kula ..
We are the fools of Avalon , the wise ones, the doves.. The world tries hard to impress us but in return we Love. We seem to blossom under storms and dance through rainy days . We found the place where the sun shines always.. We left the word " fear " behind .. that old saying was too hard. And here we are... NOW... in the kingdom of the Heart . Happy to be with YOU Love always mudra Last edited by mudra; 09-17-2009 at 08:36 PM. |

Re: This time last year......
Ah Mudra, light of love, your poem is so sweet
I'm sure when you walk there are petals at your feet Your light shines on all, the fools and wise alike Fear has no place, it's peddaling off , on a bike. When we, the assembled, look in to our hearts We link with each other, (My God....it's full of stars) Just what did Dave see, floating above Triton Was it that he'd left the bathroom light on ? I walk the path, and I digress, from serious tone To foolishness But I have no doubt, for I feel in my heart that you are with me, and we all shall feel as one. So toilet paper in hand, I go into the wood, tin foil hat on head, this should be good... |

Re: This time last year......
I think it was this october they all meant about the banks crashing and maybe even blossom was a year out, time is doing strange things, maybe we're on a loop.
I've been through two lots of tribulation food, 1kg Porridge Oats 58p in Tescos, use by November 2010 still in the cupboard. On the plus side I have been meditating, manifesting and trying to wake people up to what is going on with varying degrees of success and chaotic outcomes. Tried tinfoil hats, but they stop you getting the galactic waves, something to do with fractals. But lately I've taken to checking out http://www.spaceweather.com/, http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/home.html, I think perhaps I am crazeee, is orgone worth checking out? |

Re: This time last year......
No , I don't think Orgone is crazy...
I met a Geomancy specialist, who set up rings of standing stones... you really could feel something, when stone energy is used properly. there was a stand selling orgone stone/crystal at that festival, but I didn't buy one though. Anyone stood at stonehenge ? (and in a PTW aside, did you notice they've got everyone walking around one of the most important stone circles in the world, anticlockwise ?? I tried the other direction and boy do you feel the energy going that way) I've just had a great idea for another thread... we could post what is the thing we're least looking forward to eating that we bought last year. Porridge oats is a good start ! I've got some dried country vegetable soup in a packet (not powder) just dried vegetables, it looks really unappetizing ! |

Re: This time last year......
A lot of my tins have MSG in, I knew this when I bought them but thought if I'm that hungry and things are bad I wont care. Also bought loads of sainsbury 4p jars of curry sauce
Oh yea I also set up a rain catchment system in my garden but cant afford the black berkley filters for my water tank Happygal do you say Al-u-minum or A-lu-min-um?? I'm least looking forward to eating the packets of beanfeast I bought, things will have to be very bad to get to that stage. Brussel sprouts don't have even half the power of a packet of beanfeast |

Re: This time last year......
beanfeast ?!
that's a party I'd like to attend ... lololol... I'd bring a pot noodle... but I ate those early on... That's what we should do. Sod preparations for the end of the world (again) let's all meet up for a big jamboree and bring all the out of date stuff. To share. Hang on a minute... maybe it wasn't the Koolaid after all that killed that cult, but an attempt to use up the corners of the pantry... I believe you can get seriously ill off peanut mould.... I did buy a black berkely filter though... great... no more chlorine for me thankyouverymuch... (bout £25 each Swanny they last forever) cheaper than a britafilter too. so all in all, it's not 'bean' a bad year |

Re: This time last year......
I stocked up on coffee from the Amazon.com site, on sale. Pounds and pounds of it. Of course, it doesn't keep. So, here I am on Avalon in the middle of the US night...totally buzzed, and laughing about the tins of beans, toilet paper, and tinfoil hats. You guys in the UK crack me up. Let the party start! I'll bring coffee and razor blades. Oops, wait, that sounded way too dark.

Re: This time last year......
haha... for some strange reason this thread reminds me of the post "START TAKING COLD SHOWERS TO GET USED TO IT NOW!!!"
12 months later and I'm yet to have a cold shower! I woke up this morning and I was like "Holy Monkey! I'm Still HERE!!" Despite all the fear tactics I am actually looking forward to this year! If you know what time it is then you will also be celebrating the new golden age of peace and freedom on planet earth and in the milky way galaxy. There are many things to over come but let me put it this way... "Come On" Its not so hard. Next Stop...Universal! |

While it's still there, I suggest you go to Google Images, and fix a very clear picture in you mind of what Poison Oak & Ivy look like. Say no more. "Bean fest" ?? It must mean something different elsewhere, because what immediately came to mind here was a "small dinner gathering" in the movie "Blazing Saddles". ________________________ Re. things financial: This time last year I was shaking my head at all the fake shock and amazement coming from official circles. The guy who's financial writing I trust the most had been yelling "Get out!" re. stocks, and warning of the imminent devaluation (then collapse) of the dollar since at least Aug. of 2007. And explaining why. Not only was he right, Gary North is still right. He's using the very un-prophetic method of simply assuming we're atop a house of cards, then "predicting gravity". Can't hardly go worng with that, it's just that few do it. In my opinion, his best qualification is the fact he isn't "selling something". Ok, he is, but... besides the long list of free columns you can find at the link above, he maintains his own site. Now, in all this financial stuff there is nothing more unhelpful than a stopped clock. There are hundreds of places on the Net where you can find "financial advice" with hordes of "experts" telling you "The sky is falling! Sell everything! Buy Gold!" But when you dig a bit you'll find that, yup, 99.9% of them are selling.... guess what.... GOLD! (You'll also find it's the only advice they've given for over 50 years... stopped clock) Gary North is only selling one thing on his site: his advice. Which means "campaigning" makes no sense as it destroys "his product". And he is no fool. He makes his living by being right. While I'm at it, if you havent read Matt Taibbi's Rolling Stone article The Great American Bubble Machine I recommend it. To see how all this has been manufactured, not just now, but several times, is an eye-opener. ________________________ On a personal note: The last year has taken it's toll on our household. A year ago both the wife and I were working. We haven't since May 1st. Having spent out IRA on house payments, since then, a kind thought for something breaking in that area would be appreciated. Posting to forums isn't as easy doing it from the "big cardboard box next to the pay phone". Fred

Re: This time last year......
Maybe I DO need glasses after all!
the first "quick read" of the Beanfest description had me wondering. It clearly said... "The cooked product resembles mice."
