Hi Jenny,
Interesting results! I was wondering myself what the rest of the world was hoping for.

I'm Canadian, but have been following closely, as there is a pulse to all of this,
not just about change, but about people wanting to change the pulse.

love & peace

All I can say is that after weeks of having put my personal preferences aside so I could moderate political threads... and in the last several days it has been very difficult... I am so proud that America has finally seen the light, and turned away from the Bush mindset of neocon fascism.

It is going to take years for us to repair the damage that has be done in the last eight years, but at least with Obama at the helm... I am willing to try. If McCain had won, I'd be out in the backyard digging a bunker.

To me the election of Obama is the spark of "hope" I have been waiting for.

We still have 76 days b4 Obama is in office. I pray that he will be healthy and protected till then.

And for all of you sadsacks who have been posting nothing but gloom, doom and rubbish about Obama....

What a GLORIOUS day to be an American.

Have you lost your minds...

The same companies the funded BUSH funded OBAMA!

different sides of the same coin

in order to keep people under control is to make them feel like they are in controll or have a choice... Obama is not going to change anyting

And yes I agree that we should get away from oil and I am all for alternative energy..

But untill a politician is aware of real renewable energy and quits letting companies buy patents and kill scientists who actually create renewable energy then I dont trust a one of them...

Nucular energy.. f**ck that and f**ck Obama... I want some truth... They know how to make renewable energy but they continue to ignor it... Look at all the people who have came out on project camelot... Until Obama tells us the truth about issues like that...
Well then he is a liar and a criminal too!

Another thing that we should consider before anybody buys into this current election and Obama in general is the fact that he is a Freemason...Just like Bush and the rest of them.

Their all higher level masons.... cant be trusted

If Obama is a Freemason would that make him the first black freemason?

My personal opinion is; it doesn't matter if Obama or Cain is elected. Since they are both paid by or bought by the ruling companies and families, there will be very very small differences between both. Hope it turns out good for the whole world, but I doubt it would. PTB always win. Avarage Joe almost always loose.

Its good to see so many people linning up for voting though....progress

i think no matter what happens
and, yes, i hate to say it, i predict the machines/NOT the people have already made the "obama" choice --

how sad is that

i also think, the president elect,
is going to get killed on 1-29-2009
( 1 1 1 1 1 - 5 aces)
early in the day, prior to 4;50 am

and, then, the vp becomes president
and, it is NOT hard to guess, who will the neXt VP will be --yup-hilary !!!

(in fact, if she isn't wearing pants under a pair of pants
she, is under a skirt, wearing the pants,
BELOW both running mates

why do i feel like right now, the clintons are
playing both sides of the fence ???)

i do NOT think 2008 / or 2009 has seen the end
and, hilary will re-surface, eXactly where she has
been intending herself to be

it is really sad, what the 3D world has become

i suppose, the only solution,
is to better monitor all our eXchanges,
and, step into the new reality/and, the new world
many of us, came here, to do, in this time

I am Dutch citizen, but you are not speaking on my behalf.

Obama is a freemason. In Holland shamelessly propagated to its sheeple by MSM which is primarely socialist colored.

Jenny for you as a moderator a little bit more discretion would be advised.

Okay exchange confess your a Hillary fan.
Go Mary Lou !!! Yeah !!! Hey guys the truth is the negative propanganda about Obama has gotten ridiculous. But the guy remains calm , cool and collective under fire. The republicans have ruled for 75% of the 200yrs of politics in the USA, no wonder things are so messed up

Not living in the USA, it is impossible for me to judge who would make the better President.

All I can say is that regardless of the whether or not these candidates are puppets, the majority of the world's population are unlikely to see them as such.

My perception is that Obama would carry a weight of expectation on his shoulders that may exceed McCain's.

Many people worldwide are not only looking for a change, but also at the message that would be sent out if Obama becomes the first black man to reach the White House; a message that perhaps at long last we are going to be able to accept a human being for his/her abilities and not because of a skin colour.

But because so many will be overjoyed to see a barrier come down, and because of the hope and example this sets - especially after the recent past and its wars - it seems to me that the burden on Obama to deliver is greater than those who went before him.

In a sense it's a bit like being a career woman - it is still the case that a woman has to work harder to get there and stay there than a man. That has certainly been my experience, anyway. I feel this will be Obama's, too.

Here in the UK, we have disenchanted young black kids who have had little to look up to in terms of role models and have somehow found the 'gangster rapper' scenario their misguided passport to respect, with all its associated effects. We're seeing youth gang warfare and knife crime spring up - which we haven't had before. With Obama in the White house, wouldn't it be at least a hope that this might have some tiny, tiny, influence on them - eventually?

It may be a wholly unrealistic view.....but hoping is no bad thing

Don't waste your breath. She is not in the USA so what does she really know about him. I would of much rather his friend Billy Ayers ran than Obama. Anyhow, Obama has court on Dec 1st to check out his COB. If anything then it would be Biden.

Obama does fit in with the rest of them though...I do prefer him over McCain.............but like you said Belongs to the same flock of them

I wish I could say it was "glorious" Its a sad day in America when they let a man that is not even a citizen run for president. NO I didn't want McCain but Ayers group could of done better than Obama

Mtruthseeker you are talking about McCain, he was born in Panama. So the diversion tactic worked. Too bad is so easy to deceive people. No offense.

Thanx topper !!! Hey just trying to lighten the mood. You guys are too negative. Lets hope for the best for all. In all seriousness trying to do the right thing is not easy, community work is not easy, iregardless of what you guys think this guy got a concious and that my friend is a positive. McCain has not been pro veterans, he's pro war. I do not know what is going on with this guy, he's funny but ill informed, too bad. Obama is a very smart guy, 800 million dollars raise in 21 months of campaining, you worry about your jobs, I don't think so. At the end even the republicans where running to Obama side.
There's a secret about negativity, the more negative you are about something the more importance you give it, thus the reason why Obama will win.
