Default Foods to stock up on?

Can someone point me to a list of foods to stock up on, I remember seeing a comprehensive list on this forum but after spending way to long looking for it i'm now asking for help. Get me!!

I bought dehydrated food that you mix with water to make meals, from a camping store. We were cleaning the basement the other day, and my husband said hey, what's in that box. Um, about a month's worth of emergency food. He says, oh, okay, guess we'll keep that.

Sorry, I don't have a definitive list, but I'm sure someone will post one.

dry beans, lentils, peas, pasta, rice, barley, and the like. dry soup stock and spices. canned fruit, vegetables, fish, and tomato sauce. MRE (meals ready to eat) from army surplus stores. Dehydrated fruit. Nuts. Salt. Tea. Multi-vitamins.

stock up on the stuff you noraml eat that will store! dont buy stuff you wont eat.

It goes without saying that you should also have stored a fairly large quantity of water to go with that

if things were getting hairy, and i was forced to rely on my stash, i'd eat just about anything!!

canned fruits and vegetables are not a bad idea, and of course peanut butter one of my persona favorites
