I don't see this as a scam at all personally. It is a step in the right direction. A lot of people was/is forced to confront themselves by this whole event/non-event. Nothing is better than that. I would encourage us all to quit the blamegame and use this opportunity to look deep into ourselves and explore what this event/non-event has brought to the surface that we can learn and grow from. Clearly it has touched many people deeply even if our response to it has been somewhat polarized. Some has come into touch with their fear and some with their hope/expectations. Both needs to be processed out of the system in order to grow. It is always possible to interpret any situation in such a way as to maximize the growth/learning from it. That is my definition of self-responsability, and that is naturally what I choose to do.

(And for Gods sake; don't take things so seriously! It is all a game and it is meant to be fun remember!? Keep it Light and full of laughter and all will be fine...)

I'm sorry, I just can't subscribe to the 'this was fun' theory. Sometimes you gotta get angry. I think claims like this are very very dangerous indeed. I feel very sorry for this woman too.

There are a lot of people here who don't realise how serious this kind of thing is on a spiritual level and you are playing with fire. This is not a game, and should not be treated like one.

I am amazed that there are those defending the actions.

If I stood on a soap box and told people that walked by that there is a great reward in a rubbish bin hidden in the park, there are those who would believe and those who would think it was just rubbish.
Those people who needed the reward the most would be frantically searching for the reward hidden in the rubbish bin with little reguard for their own health.

When they come back and say they found nothing, and I replied that the reward was in the looking, do you think that some of these people had a just reason to dislike me?
I didn't lie to them.

If someone spreads a rumour that a great reward is coming in the guise of a mother ship on a certain date, I think these people have just cause to be angry.

The federation of light is far more advanced than ourselves and surely they would have known the damage that was done to the credability of a few people who made the claims.
Surely they would have also known the damage done to the whole ET community now looking even more like nutjobs.

as I said, some people are genuine and have contact and pass on the information for free, and others who require the spotlight and possibly an inground pool.

On an earlier post:

And lots and lots of stuff all over the internet. Forget this Blossom Goodchild stuff, it is pointless. Don't waste any more of your time on it, that would be my recommendation for anyone thats interested in the E.T. thing.

I am now, after this post, refusing to read, or pay attention to, anything to do with Blossom Goodchild or the Galactic Federation Of Light. You should do the same.

i am saddened by many of the comments in this thread.

i liked her unique idea. if she made money of it i am not bothered by that.

we can have all the money we want but in the end you still live your life.

the fond memory and excitement myself and many others felt through her predictions will always be just pleasant memories

what is the harm in that?

blossoms experiment will not result in the downfall or a setback of the unfolding paradigm shift. it may have given a little spiritual boost to those who enjoyed moments of anticipation.

I agree Goodchild does sound very sincere. As she mentioned in the video, it does take a lot of courage to admit she does not have an explanation instead of giving excuses of why this event did not take place. I guess all she can probably do is take what she has learned from this whole experience and grow from it.

I know this is getting old but the failure of anything to materialize on the 14th was disappointing to many of us. I truly feel now and before that Blossom truly believed that they were coming. My thinking is that it was likely the illuminati or CIA that were able to "channel" these messages to her.
