Dear Avalonians,

I wish to share this poem with you. I am encouraged that with all this heavy themes we are discussing here we are not fighting and bickering.
That is a good thing. Also people who are at least trying to talk about all this are enormous minority in this world.

Because of the job I do I am seeing tons of people on daily basis and the more years are passing by the more I see people becoming numbers, numbs, robots.

It seems like shine in their eyes is vanishing...

I hope that this poem I wrote few years ago can shine someone`s heart at least a tiny bit.


Light as a butterfly and heavy as the universe!
Gentle as a woman can be
and harsh as icy wind...

Turn it around,
up and down-you`ll see nothing,
you`ll hear no sound.

Try to catch it
with hands to smash it!
But only you air you`ll feel
my friend...

If only your eyes can see
through the mist of thought,
perfectly clear...

If only your ears can hear
above the sounds of war,
over the tears!

If only your fingers can touch it,
under its surface
behind the door with padlock...

Inside of you and outside of you,
everywhere...
Here and there, in and out of your soul.

and through the hate...

---where is love???

Is it in the air,
on the sky,
deep below the arctic night...
on high peaks of misty mountains
and in the fiery abyss
deep in its fountains???

Where it lies?
Where it stands?

And then...in the moment the struck of light
an overwhelming wave!

Life is at grasp of your hand,
Love is God
God is love

Open your heart and let love,
let it now -soon it will be too late
because some live just to hate!
Some are living just to die
or taking other lives, never saying why...

For truth - open your soul now,
for there is no power or force but love!

And then when you look on the sky
you will just know,
that love is God
that God is love.

It is easy to say rhythm and verse,
and beautiful song lights sparkle in the eye!
But to paint gentle words of the heart
and sing about love-gift is from the sky...





P.S.
and I want to share that gift ... as well as just one soul is a bit happier after reading something I wrote then my mission is done!

Night Traveler

The harbinger of night is nothing more than candlelight
Sun breeds the day and winds sweep the night

Darkness clings to the root of the earth
Hiding all since its birth

Creatures sing…The moon rises
Sounds that call and entices

A traveler on the road of night
No torch...no pony…..no firelight

The silver orb guides his way
Hoping to see his home someday

Moving slow and not with ease
The traveler pushes on past darkened trees

The lane of day bodes ill at night
For a traveler bereft of sunlight

Save that of the moon, reflecting the sun
Darkness envelopes, smothers…shadows run

The owl is no friend to our traveling soul
Nor the hare cringing in his dark hole

The traveler pushes on toward home unseen
Walking slow past shadowy scenes

For the mind is quick eyed and weary
Tricks it plays as darkness and shadow marry

Pushes on he must….the trees groan
From pillar to post for hearth and home

He is the traveler lost and lone
Each step feeling like steps of stone

Off in the distance a silhouette he sees
Nothing familiar can it be

The night plays tricks like a desert oasis
Leading him into more dark places

But a light he sees..a sanctuary it must be

A place to ease the chill in his bones
A place that he may not feel so alone

As the soul draws near…the outline appears

Appearances of a church with cross held high
A symbol of hope as he draws nigh

But a forbidding place cloaked in Dark
Moonlight bathed…darkness as wolves bark

A single light shines from the cracked door
The traveler wishing there be more

No comfort of any form this place be
No sanctuary can he see

No trees…no green..only stones that grow from the earth
Names chiseled in them for death and birth


He approaches slowly…all breathes are gasps
For the night surrounds him and courage lapses

Peering in an old foyer found
Not used in centuries….no one around

A single light close to the altar
Each inch a mile….each step falters

Our timid traveler moves into the shadows
Thinking this is all a mistake now

Stepping into the aisle fear grips his heart
Hearing low chanting from places deep in the dark

From behind the altar in a dark hallway appears
7 hooded monks…faces down to the altar draw near

The travelers face white as linen sheet
Peering through the darkness at 7 forms complete

Circling round the altar and chanting grows louder
The robes disturb no dust that lies in fine powder

No shadows dance and cling from candlelight
These things are shadows themselves on this dark cold night

A witness they must have …a voyeur they do seek
The scene plays out as his knees become weak

Praying and chanting in horrible moans
The 7 look downward as the chorus drones

Raise their dark faces to the rafters
Pleading for forgiveness and peace in the here after
The gods have turned away
Their souls walk after their days

7 damned to this earth for one reason
The gods punish harshly acts of treason

In the dark they pray for forgiveness
All to listen is one solitary witness

Slowly they rise and move in file
Moving staggers down the aisle

They move into the night on silent feet
6 pass as the 7th turns as if to greet

Under the darkened hood there is no face
But a voice issues from the dark space

“We are the damned…now and forever!”
“Our sins are our own that none can remember”

Turning slowly making for the door
The 7th stops and turns once more

“Be true in this life and the next!”
“Or stand with us as our 8th guest!!”

Turning to follow the traveler emerges
Into the dark as the 7 chant their dirges

Down the dark road, they file out of sight
“Remember!” is all he hears as they vanish into the night

And the traveler will remember all that has been seen
Even if later it all seems a dark dream
Moving for home and fearing nothing
For all he has seen the night no terror brings

“Remember!!” he will to the end of his days


THE END

[Stargazer1965]

A Town called Pride


From the beginning in a one horse town

Nothing could be found for miles round


The cactus grew and the wind blew

And all the folks knew

That this space was out of date......A nowhere place


So they came together and looked round...up and down

And they stare....completely unaware


Till a voice in the crowd said aloud

"What we need in this town is a thing to make it proud!!"""


Another voice near the rear says

"Everyone lend an ear....I think I may have a solution here!!!"""


"Let's do something to bring pride to our side!! This town is down ....nearly to the ground"


"Let's build a fountain as tall as a mountain!!!"

A voice blares over the square


Another voice mocks

"We have no rock...no stone blocks to build a fountain as big as a mountain!!"


"We can build a statue of copper most proper!!""

A voice in the rear appears

"We have no proper copper and that's a BIG SHOW STOPPER!!""


The crowd lets out a sigh....bye and bye, "Can we think of nothing to try??"


Again a voice bellows "Listen here my fine fellows!!"

"A pyramid we can build over in yon field, like the Pharaoh's guild!!"




Here came that voice again..."That idea seems pretty thin!!"


"Hold the phone...did you forget we have no stone???"

"And I fear there is not a brain here that has the knowledge to engineer!"


They tried and they tried but no idea was found

Oh lots of ideas floated around and schemes did abound

But every one of them shot down


As they shook their heads and thought

With new ideas they wrestled and fought


Till a small voice caught all the attention

A small tot with something to mention


"I'm Proud" said the small tot out loud


"Proud I am of my neighbors, family, and friends! My pride in you all knows no ends!! On you all my hope depends!"


A small wind could have blown the whole town down.

The small voice they had found was correct, there was nothing to erect


No things wrought of stone or brick would do the trick.

Because they were never at a loss for what they tried to come across.


As the stood....


They all knew......


That pride lay in their hearts for good

A beautiful thread beren, you may never know how far your words reach.....and teach.....and bring peace, to who knows how many people.

words from the heart have such strengh and power !

here are some words that resonate strongly with me.

The invitation

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living, i want to know what you ache for and if you dare to meet your hearts longing.
It doesn't interest me how old you are, i want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love,for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planet is squaring your moon, i want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shelled and closed from fear of further pain. i want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or to fake it or to fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let ecstacy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling is true, i want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself, if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul, if you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see the beauty even when it's not pretty everywhere and if you can seduce your life from it's presence.

I want to know if you can live with faliure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver of the moon... Yes

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied, i want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away, i want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

Sometimes words are not enough,
sometimes I`d paint a picture and in the middle of it I `d place nothing...

I would be lost with reality since I can not transcribe it to you...

All can fit in a dot of space and
that dot would be bigger than Earth...

Hour grows late...
Racket around us and blinding hate...

Smoke of doom lies across ,
and open eyes filled with lust
tantrums and violence !

I choose to deaf my ears for this noise!
I will not give it life ,
not even a choice!

For long now passed
since my peace was stumbled.
Now I fight back!

As they stalked me with hate ,
in gloomy hours of nights,
I will pierce them with love ,
for they can not bear that!

I will be as mad man can be ,
I will not rest until I hunt them down ,
hunt them down like ravaging wolves,
in their caves filled with lust,

Ever behind their steps ...
I will be the haunter yes!
I will shine with love ,
more -as they care less!

They will growl and moan with pain ,
