What do you think about Apollo 20?
I'd like to hear your opinions on the Apollo 20/William Rutledge story.
You can find out more about it HERE Also, the EBE video HERE I personally think it's a great story, it is indisputable that there IS something on the moon in as shown in some of the pictures. Some aspects of this case have been undeniably faked (This video) but I have this nagging feeling that there is more to this story than meets the eye. Maybe the 80/20 rule?? But until I see more evidence, I believe most of the story is at best disinfo. Your thoughts?? Last edited by 371; 10-13-2008 at 06:53 PM. |

I myself find that this site looses credability from the off as the first picture you see shows whats supposed to be a reactor in the Aristarchus Crater which does look convincing untill you view the image in its correct orientation that is. The image they show gives the impression that there is a raised structure but when viewed as you would see it (rotate 180 degrees as the horizon falls away bellow the crater) it appears to be concave. Check the high res colour image they have of the whole moon and you will see. Why the need to do this?? Anything is possible and ive seen supposed footage 20 so what the hell, ill say yeah! |

Re: What do you think about Apollo 20?
Another part of it that I find suspicious is on the EBE video, the supposed Russian cosmonaut is juggling around a camera. Does NOT look like it is in a zero-g environment. My guess is that they planned on slowing down that portion of film to make it appear to be done in zero-g.
The question remains: Why would someone go to this much trouble to hoax this? Is it to call attention to this object on the moon? As far as I've seen, I haven't come across any researchers coming across this anomaly prior to this story coming out, though many have confirmed it is in fact a genuine lunar anomaly. Could this 'retiredafb' guy have come across this object in his own research and constructed a elaborate hoax around it, at cost of great time and expense? If so, why? |

Re: What do you think about Apollo 20?
Luca Scatamburlo posted a thread on this in the early days of Avalon
I have studied the video and although i believe it is a hoax, it is a very expensive hoax and you have to ask yourself why ? why do it? anyway an observation i did make and found interesting was when the camera points out of the LEM window on the surface of the Moon set/stage you can see a Lunokhod rover. I'ts main mission was to provide accurate landing data for a lunar lander and even carry a cosmonaut. So a lot of thought has gone into this hoax it is there to distract us and stop us looking at something else, but what? |

The answer resides IN BETWEEN: This Vid is a HOAX with a message of TRUTH hiding underneath: - The majority of viewers will see this as a perfect example of low-quality BS and will dismiss it. - The persipicacious and trained mind will get the encrypted message. Finally, the PTBs know they can escape anytime with the TRUTH as long as the majority says it's a HOAX. (By the way, i wasn't talking about me, just making my point...) salute. |

Re: What do you think about Apollo 20?
Don't know for how long these HUGE pics will stay up... NASA is playing games; blast marks were added underneath in a museum, yet in the official pic, the soil underneath was undisturbed on the 'moon.'

Re: What do you think about Apollo 20?
In one pic there is a ditch underneath the rocket engine exhaust. In another pic there is no ditch underneath the rocket engine exhaust.

Re: What do you think about Apollo 20?
those photo's are not of the same LEM a brief look at the pix confirms that
e.g. compare the main engine shutoff sensors sticking out of the ground next to the pads how the soil looks, i could go on and on |
