Hey mate I guess the 'Divide and Conquer' hasn't been implemented in Sweden as much as in most other parts of the world. You are simply unaware of the existance of 'Illigal Alliens' LOL(joking). We first have to take care of all good, obedient, hard working, tax paying CITIZENS and wealthy, then if we have anough money left, treat (does not nesseseraly mean help) Human Beings.

Honestly, none of those man can and will resolve the situation, that's my believe for now.. It looks to me that the system has run out of control and is self sustained now. Perhaps if we ALL become aware of the fact that every single one of us here is a tiny part of this system, in one way or another and decide to stop powering it via paing taxes, discrimination, selfishness and many other ways we do it, only then it might break down.. but then again, there will be a chaos right? hence Ordo ab Chao...

I love one of the great quotes:
Be the change You want to see.

So I guess this is all we are left with.

Cheers mate.

This is compancated with taxmoney, (frankly i dont have a problem with paying 2% more tax to keep the people that need care healthy) and i dont see why you have such a problem with that?

What you have is "only the rich get to be treated" or the people with insuranses whom theyself are pretty rediqiolous since you have to be superman even to be qualifyed for one.

This system of yours is very unfair to the less fortunate once and what you are basicly promoting is to let the poor be sick and die, while you with good jobs can cure ur illnesses.

What i said i live in Sweden, we have always had free healthcare, we dont have to ask for premision to get operated if we need it. We have a dentalsystem so there is a roof on what youre supposed to pay if you have bad teethe, and no, we dont stave to death here cause of high taxes, we live a good, healty life. And so should all humans on the planet have an opporunity to do.

Listening to your interview it just seems that the dude you interviewed was refering to the european system as something bad, why they do we have less infants death for example than you? is it because we are healtyier? may be so.

Im not trying to promote anything here but you both sound like selfish bastards to be honest. As long as noone you know dies ur all good with it, wait until you get unemployed and get cancer, lets see how fun you think it is then.

Idaho signs anti-health-insurance law

By John Miller ASSOCIATED PRESS
Thursday, March 18, 2010

BOISE, Idaho -- Idaho is leading the charge in a states'-rights push to defeat a proposal in Congress that would require people to buy health insurance, a key reform pushed by President Obama.

Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter, a Republican, used a ceremony Wednesday afternoon to become the first governor to sign into law a measure requiring the state attorney general to sue the federal government over any such insurance mandates.

Similar legislation is pending in 37 other states, a point Mr. Otter stressed when asked if the bill he signed can succeed, given constitutional law experts are already saying federal laws would supersede those of states in a U.S. District Court fight.

EXCERPT:

"Congress is planning to force an unconstitutional mandate on the states," said Christie Herrera, the group's health task force director.

States take aim to block healthcare plan

Reuters – Opponents of the proposed U.S. health care bill are pictured during a rally outside the U.S. Capitol …

By Lisa Lambert and Karen Pierog – Sun Mar 21

WASHINGTON/CHICAGO (Reuters) – As the Congress once again rallies to pass healthcare reform legislation, momentum is growing in many states to pass laws to block the changes -- a move that could lead to a legal battle over states' sovereignty.

Bills and resolutions have been introduced in at least 36 state legislatures seeking to limit or oppose various aspects of the reform plan through laws or state constitutional amendments, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

"There's going to be a big free-for-all lawsuit about this," said Michael Bird, legislative counsel for the NCSL.

Protester disrupts House, yells 'Kill the Bill'

By ERICA WERNER, Associated Press Writer – 2 hrs 13 mins ago

WASHINGTON – A Democratic lawmaker says a protester stood up in the House gallery, yelled "Kill the bill" and was cheered by Republicans.

Angry demonstrators opposed to the health care bill gathered outside the Capitol on Sunday. Democratic Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts says that one stood up in the House gallery and shouted, "Kill the bill. The people don't want this."

As the man was yelling and ushers tried to escort him out, several Republicans stood up on the House floor and cheered.

Said Frank: "I've never seen this — for the Republicans to stand up and cheer the guy on." Frank called the Republicans "clowns."

The cheering could be heard from outside the chamber.

Disruptions from the gallery are banned.

Obama, Democrats on track for health care vote

By CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press Writer – 4 mins ago

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama and Democratic House leaders resolved a long-standing dispute over abortion Sunday, securing crucial support from a handful of lawmakers and setting the stage for a historic vote on a comprehensive health care overhaul.

The White House announced that Obama would issue an executive order after passage of the health care bill that reaffirms current law barring taxpayer dollars for abortion, except in cases of rape, incest and a threat to the life of the mother.

Moments after the White House statement, Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., a leading abortion foe, and six other anti-abortion Democrats announced they would back the health care bill.

"We're well past 216," Stupak told reporters.

'Live Blog' of the House vote on health care reform

6:32 PM ET: The House just passed the rules for tonight's debate, 224 to 206. Now on to debate on the legislation itself.

6:30 PM ET: Caroline Sharp asks on Twitter: " is the House really debating the 'fixes' before the bill itself? Doesn't it make more sense to debate the other way around?"

Yes, the House is voting on the "fixes" they want for the Senate bill before they pass the Senate bill itself. It would seem to make more sense to pass the Senate bill before passing changes, but House Democrats were worried that if they passed the Senate bill first they might loss the second vote on the changes, and didn't want to risk leaving the Senate bill intact.

6:25 PM ET: The National Organization for Women has released a statement criticizing President Obama's deal with pro-life Democrats. The group argues that Obama's agreement to sign an executive order reemphasizing that federal funds in the health care bill cannot be used to fund abortions sends the message that "it is acceptable to negotiate health care on the backs of women, and we couldn't disagree more."

6:12 PM ET: The House is now voting on the rules they will follow during tonight's debate. When they finish, they will start to debate on the first of two pieces of legislation they will vote on: the "fixes" to the original Senate bill and then the original Senate bill itself.

6:00 PM ET: If you have any questions about what's happening, leave a comment or tweet at me at @agolis. I'll try to answer a few as I go.

5:54 PM ET: The Hill reports that House Minority Leader John Boehner is telling his fellow Republicans to "behave like grown-ups" if the healthcare reform bill passed tonight. (via TPM's Countdown to Reform Wire)

Idaho and Utah have joined Virginia in legislation to nullify the Obama Health Care bill – as state sovereignty gains steam. USA Today 2010 Mar 18 (Cached)

States battle feds on health care

Some states are trying to block key parts of President Obama's health care plan, which could spark a legal fight.

State lawmakers try to head off health bill

By Mimi Hall, USA TODAY

In a backlash against President Obama's health care legislation that stretches from Virginia to California, lawmakers in more than two-thirds of the states are scrambling to undercut the bill before it even passes Congress.

Earlier this month, Virginia became the first state to pass a law allowing its residents to opt out of the proposed federal requirement that everyone have health insurance, a key element of Obama's plan. Legislatures in Utah and Idaho this month also approved measures limiting the scope of the proposed $950 billion health care bill pending in Congress.

A host of other state legislatures also are considering new laws and promoting constitutional amendments that would limit federal requirements. Most follow Virginia's lead in nullifying the mandate on health insurance. Obama's bill would expand health coverage to 31 million Americans who currently don't have it and impose new regulations on the insurance industry.

The state measures are likely to be challenged in court, setting up new legal battles over whether federal law can trump state laws.

Sigh

Thanks for your attempt to educate and be a person of reason.

Unfortunatly, the world will learn later then sooner the mistake being made by our government and politicians.
No one in our current governemt cares or understands Constituntional Rights.

Left,Right,Democrat,Republican..Liberal Commie,Right Wing Ideolog...
We have in fact lost our voice by stoopidity and have now allowed a political party to dictate our policies. This is wrong.
We all knew in our hearts, the U.S. dictated foriegn policy on an international level based on corporation and military needs.(Don't get me started on Dow Chemical in Viet Nam and Agent Orange and Afghan and Opium(Korea,Vietnam,Iraq,Afgan)to Protect American Citizens....RIGHT!!!! Hey!! We're not that stupid. What is the adgenda?

Please.... I'm no Shawn Hannity,Glen Beck or Keith Oberlan supporter.
I can type..send Emails and channel surf and read more alternative ideas then any library I ever went to.( I have access to any Library I want now..)
..Wow...that multi tasking?
I can't believe how many RIGHTS have been given away to so many for nothing under this Bill. The Government has more rights now. WE just lost more rights for NO definition of outcome.

Oh Google: IRS is hiring an additional 16,000 jobs to monitor non payment of mandatory health insurance violaters.

Divide and Conquer..Who said that? Not me as an Avalon/Camelot member.
I've read it a million times and was warned by fellow Avolon/Camelot whistleblower members.

And now Avalon and Camelot is a divide and conquer side story? NAH
Coincidence? Actually, I believe it is.

Oh A in Avalon is before C in Camelot..That was my only choice there..
I don't "think" its related.

Now I have to be a coffee bagger,a tea bagger,a democrat,a republican, or a hippie with love and peace and love in my heart to ascend......Or, I'm an uncaring, unAmerican, selfish bastid..I'll post this one more time>>>
Obama will take these illegal alien votes to continue American Constitutional violation rights for his Vote to get relected.

Push to Repeal ObamaCare Begins

Posted by Tim Shoemaker on 03/22/10

Early Monday morning, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) introduced legislation calling for repeal of ObamaCare, describing it as an "arrogant power grab."

From Politico:

Quote:
"Unless this trillion-dollar assault on our freedoms is repealed, it will force Americans to purchase Washington-approved health plans or face stiff penalties," DeMint said in a release. "It will fund abortions, raise taxes and insurance premiums, while reducing health care choices and quality."
DeMint is not the only one fighting back however.

The polarizing health care votes cast late Sunday will have a profound effect on reelection campaigns across the nation, leaving a host of House Democrats—and a few Republicans—to explain or defend a politically treacherous vote that could determine control of the House come November.

Some members of Congress will end up with primary challenges as a result. Others may have signed their own political death warrant.

Right-Wing Obamacare

From Dan McCarthy at the American Conservative:

Quote:
Whether it’s called Obamacare or Romneycare, and whether it’s right-wing or left-wing, the further cartelization of the healthcare system is a very bad idea. In exchange for extending coverage to high-risk individuals, the insurance industry is promised guaranteed profits from a consumer base — that is, people like you and me — that is legally compelled to purchase its product.

Continue the Fight for Free Market Health Care

Late Sunday night, the U.S. House of Representatives abandoned the Constitution, made a mockery of the words of the Founders, and drew a line in the sand as it passed the Senate's health care bill 219-212. The morning after the federal government acted yet again to increase its control over our lives, the freedom movement has two clear options.

"The Real Arithmetic of Health Care Reform"

Posted by Matt Hawes on 03/22/10

Douglas Holtz-Eakin, former director of the Congressional Budget Office, details the case in The New York Times for why the House-passed legislation will deepen the debt and examines the tricks employed to make it look like this bill will save taxpayer dollars.

Quote:
In reality, if you strip out all the gimmicks and budgetary games and rework the calculus, a wholly different picture emerges: The health care reform legislation would raise, not lower, federal deficits, by $562 billion....

Even worse, some costs are left out entirely. To operate the new programs over the first 10 years, future Congresses would need to vote for $114 billion in additional annual spending. But this so-called discretionary spending is excluded from the Congressional Budget Office's tabulation....

Finally, in perhaps the most amazing bit of unrealistic accounting, the legislation proposes to trim $463 billion from Medicare spending and use it to finance insurance subsidies. But Medicare is already bleeding red ink, and the health care bill has no reforms that would enable the program to operate more cheaply in the future. Health care reform now faces Senate challenge

By Ed Hornick, CNN
March 22, 2010

Washington (CNN) -- Now that the House has passed the Senate's health care reform bill and a package meant to reconcile differences between the House and Senate bills, the next step is for members of the Senate to sign off on those changes.
That won't be as easy as it sounds.

Senate Republicans have indicated they will use any and all legislative tactics in order to slow -- even stop -- the reconciliation bill from passing.

President Obama is expected to sign the health care bill Tuesday at the earliest. Only then can the Senate begin dealing with the reconciliation package.

Happy Happy thoughts.
That's unfortunate, lots of people have been successful attending AA meetings and remain sober today. Then again, it's not for all.

As with many people who have come to believe, myself included (in the past), there is nothing we can do to change politics would do well to heed the fact that thoughts precede the action and if enough of us believe we can change politics, then without doubt it will change.

States Sue Over Overhaul That Will Bust State Budgets (Update2)

By Pat Wechsler

March 23 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama faces a fight over the health-care overhaul from states that sued today because the legislation’s expansion of Medicaid imposes a fiscal strain on their cash-strapped budgets.

Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania are among 14 states that filed suit after the president signed the bill over the constitutionality of the burden imposed by the legislation. The health-care overhaul will make as many as 15 million more Americans eligible for Medicaid nationwide starting in 2014 and will cost the states billions to administer.

So much for the "my plan will save Americans" $2500/year in Healthcare premiums.

F***ing liar in chief. "
Yes, this law will induce people to hire, it will improve health access, and it will be positive for the consumer, economy, stock market and spending.

The market rallies on for today, as I sit back and chuckle to myself... "I told you so."

Please, buy more stocks to drive the DOW, S&P, Nasdaq and Russell higher on the mythical economic "recovery" and mythical job gains that will take hold as employers, right here and now, four full years before the "benefits" show up for adults in this bill (those very same workers) get whammied for $2,400 per year in additional costs per employee.

PS: One way or another the employees will be paying every single penny of that cost. Either directly through lower wages (which will do great things for consumer spending and the economy) or indirectly as people are either laid off or not hired in the first place.

It's Gonna Be Like Christmas! (Health Care)

"It's just going to be like Christmas," said DeCarlo Flythe, who lost health coverage for his family when he was laid off almost three years ago. "It's going to be great. You know, no worries (about) the bills. We are going to go ahead and pay our co-pay and be alright."
You got the $10,000 for the policy and another $10k for the out-of-pocket deductibles, right?

Yes, I know if you are lower-income you'll get subsidies. But that being laid off thing might become more-permanently laid off, you see, since if you go back to work your employer will have to either pay a fine (annually) or pick up the majority of that $10k in cost.

Fact Sheet: The Truth About the Health Care Bill

Jane Hamsher Founder, FireDogLake.com
Posted: March 19, 2010

Quote:
We've also taken a detailed look at the bill, and have come up with 18 often stated myths about this health care reform bill.

Real health care reform is the thing we've fought for from the start. It is desperately needed. But this bill falls short on many levels, and hurts many people more than it helps them.

While details are limited, there is apparently a "Plan B" alternative that the White House was considering as recently as two weeks ago, which would evidently expand existing programs -- Medicaid and SCHIP. It would cover half the people at a quarter of the price, but it would not force an unbearable financial burden to those who are already struggling to get by.
One of 18 Myths:

Myth 15: This bill will stop insurance companies from hiking rates 30%-40% per year.

Fact: This bill does not limit insurance company rate hikes. Private insurers continue to be exempt from anti-trust laws, and are free to raise rates without fear of competition in many areas of the country.

GOP senators in final drive to stall health bill

By ERICA WERNER, Associated Press Writer – 58 mins ago

WASHINGTON – In a final drive to thwart President Barack Obama's health care remake, Republican senators plan to force Democrats to run a gantlet of politically dicey votes before they can finish a companion bill to the landmark law.

Voting was expected to start late Wednesday on a full list of Republican amendments to a "sidebar" bill making changes Democrats agreed to in the main legislation already signed by Obama. Major components of the "fix" legislation include scaling back a tax on high-cost insurance plans opposed by labor unions, closing the coverage gap in the Medicare prescription benefits, and higher taxes on upper-income earners.

But Republicans have other ideas. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., wants a vote on his amendment to prohibit coverage of Viagra for sex offenders. Sen. Judd Gregg, R-NH, wants savings from Medicare cuts plowed back into the health care program for seniors, instead of being used to expand coverage to the uninsured. Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., wants to gut penalties on employers whose workers wind up getting taxpayer subsidized coverage.

Obama issues low-key order on abortions

By DAVID ESPO, AP Special Correspondent – 3 mins ago

WASHINGTON – Anything but jubilant, President Barack Obama awkwardly kept a promise Wednesday he made to ensure passage of historic health care legislation, pledging the administration would not allow federal funds to pay for elective abortions covered by private insurance.

Unlike Tuesday, when a beaming Obama signed the health care law in a nationally televised ceremony interrupted repeatedly by applause, the White House refused to permit coverage of the event. It occurred in the Oval Office in the presence of a small group of anti-abortion Democratic lawmakers who had extracted the commitment over the weekend. The president supports abortion rights.

Loophole in Healthcare Bill?

Posted by gintstopgitprr on 03/24/10

From this morning's Politico: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0310/34900.html

"
Quote:
...The bill requires 'congressional staff' to buy insurance from the exchanges - with a stipend from the Office of Personnel Management But page 158 of the bill defines 'congressional staff' narrowly, as "employees employed by the official office of a member of congress, whether in the district office or in Washington."

The Congressional Research Service believes a court could rule that the legislation 'would exclude professional committee staff, joint committee staff, some shared staff, as well as potentially those staff employed by leadership offices.'

If that's so, staffers who work for Nancy Pelosi in her capacity as representative from California would go into the exchange program, while staffers who work for her in her capacity as speaker would stay on the government's plan. Other Capitol employees, like those who work for the Clerk of the House or the House Historian, would be similarly exempted."

Senate's fix to health care law slowed by snag

By ALAN FRAM, Associated Press Writer – 41 mins ago

WASHINGTON – After nine straight hours of beating back Republican amendments, Senate Democrats hit a temporary snag Thursday in their drive to rush through a package of fixes to the big health care law signed by President Barack Obama.

Democratic Senate leaders had hoped to complete work on the fix-it bill by midday Thursday and get it quickly to Obama to avoid prolonging what has been a politically painful ordeal for the party.

But Republicans learned early Thursday they will be able to kill some language in the bill that relates to Pell grants for low-income college students. That means the altered bill will have to be returned to the House for final congressional approval before it can be sent to Obama.

Ohio: A Healthcare Battleground

Posted by Matt Holdridge on 03/24/10

Citizens and legislators in Ohio are exploring three different avenues to block aspects of the recent health care reform bill.

The first, like other states, is a lawsuit arguing the constitutionality of the bill as it relates to the states. However, an Ohio State University law professor is not optimistic about its chances.

The Examiner is reporting:
