Default Credo Mutwa - A Poem on Barack Obama

An actor walks upon the floodlit stage of life
wearing a mask of an angel beneath a demon's gown.
Pretence smiles upon the crowded hall of life
holding out hope as bright as it is false.
Son of a woman in whose veins flows the blood
of ancient Ireland and dark Africa's plains.
You are Obama, nick-named the standing king
You are Barack, oh, son born to deceive
The suffering hoards of Africa look up to you,
See a black saviour where nought but a Judas strides.
An entrapper of nations, bringer of dismal war
Behind the robes and the nylon wings of hope
Oh, may those who look upon you, see you as you are.
May those who hope in you behold you as you be
A prince deceitful to bring down Africa's shrines
A siren who leads Africa's ships onto rocks of obliteration.
Your rule my lord will not be one of peace
Your reign my king will not be one of smiles
Even as we speak in caves both dark and dank
Enraged fanatics plot your dark demise
They will put around your head a bloodwet martyr's crown.
Oh black Kennedy following the one before
May God forgive thee and thy fiery spouse
As you walk in silence from the stage of life
Barack Obama, blessed son, Oh standing king.

This gave me "chills up my spine"

I got this in my email from a friend and the first thing out of my mouth was " did he really write this". Of course the answer is yes and it's posted on David Icke's site.

To me its like a perfect plan written by the evil people of this world. We are all such fools but we will survive all that they throw out to us

I can't let this bring me down to their level. I will pray to God and Jesus to protect us all and our world

Credo Mutwa

I watched a Zulu read a poem to the United Nations in my dream last night - he was defending himself at a court because he was being tried for his 'knowledge' of an assassination.

I woke up and said to my wife ' oh black kennedy may God forgive you'. this made me go cold.

Fook is all i can say.

Credo doesn't for one second spare Obama any punches in his absolute displeasure.

I'd say this is Credos way of saying 'up yours Obama you fraud'.

He is well aware that Obama is "holding out hope as false as it is bright." I dont see much of this poem "liking Obama." Credo is just loving towards life so he projects his truth upon obama in a loving manner.

As someone who has read and listened to Credo Mutwa I will excuse his poem. Credo is very very intelligent in his mind but very uneducated. You can tell that by his wordings but that doesn't give anyone reason to doubt his intelligent.

So many in Africa are unschooled. It's sad and when you look at the people in the USA, we were let go also.

I have personally known men and women that have been schooled that can't even read ! Look at the athele's out there playing sports nowaday. I would say 3rd grade education at the most.

Credo has some amazing stories and he is also a very high shaman and can tell the future. He has abilities that many wish they had.

I will not discount his message one bit

Poetry neither has to rhyme nor 'make sense' to the reader. It is an expression of the poets inner thoughts.

The reader has to adapt to the poem, not the poem to the reader. To read anothers poetry is to experience and ride their emotions and feel the beating of the poets heart within their own.

If a man like Credo speaks, we should all sit down, shut the fnck up, pay attention and think about it for a few minutes afterwards before opening our mouths.

He speaks with words aged in aeons, not seconds. That alone deserves respect.
