I asked what was my original "sin". Got a nice call to action with somewhat of an action plan. Since I have been revisiting my original call to write a book I also thought I might need a "muse". But perhaps that's just another delaying tactic.

My internal wisdom structure projects back to me from reading these cards. Definitely not a time to sit on my fanny or regress. I KNEW I was starting to get a little too comfortable and I purposely heated things up.

This card tells you which ally will be working with you when you bring the element water into your life or situation, as reflected in the powers of the Nile.
2. Nephthys ~ The High Priestess: Intuition/Mystery

When Nephthys appears, she is working with your third eye and your sense of intuition, which will guide you further into the mysteries and to that which is hidden in your subconscious mind. She helps you to see in the dark. If you’ve drawn this card, be especially attentive or watchful for synchronicities. (What you may normally think of as a coincidence is actually the universe trying to gain your attention.) Pay attention to those sudden "hits" of inner knowing and guidance, and watch for those outer events or experiences that form synchronistic parallels to the inner messages you’re receiving.

When you give yourself to the magic of Nephthys, she doesn’t stop at opening your mind’s eye; she also opens your heart. Allow your entire being to thrive as you begin to see things in a new way.

Nephthys is the hidden or veiled one who serves as a medium between worlds. She comes to us in dreams, flashes of intuition, and visions. Along with Isis and Nekhbet-Mother-Mut, Nephthys is an aspect of the Triple Goddess. She relies upon spirit to direct her in all things and she holds the mystery teachings of life, death, and rebirth deep within her essence.

The mother of Anubis, Nephthys is also the true Virgin, or the woman unto herself, in her manifestation as the High Priestess. 17. Sothis ~ Star Consciousness: Generosity/Bodhisattva

You are being asked to embody your star consciousness. The star of your being is rising. Use this as an opportunity to be seen in the world and to emerge as a conscious teacher of something your life has taught you. You have something wonderful to share.

Sothis is the stellar manifestation of Isis; like Isis, she is a pure channel for divine love and wisdom. Sothis is also Sirius, the Dog Star, which is the brightest star in the sky. Sothis/Isis follows her husband Osiris (as the constellation Orion) into the Underworld when it disappears from view for seventy days, the number of days for the funerary rites in ancient Egypt. As she appears again, rising in the eastern sky after her sojourn in the Underworld, her presence heralds the coming inundation, the New Year in the ancient calendar of Egypt.

As Sothis rises in the night sky, she pours forth her spiritual essence, her stellar energies, and her compassionate wisdom upon all beings. Through her willingness to offer us these precious gifts and her guidance, we are elevated to a greater understanding of our own soul’s purpose and the reasons we are here on Earth at this time. Sothis is the star of humanity and a true bodhisattva, calling forth the best in each of us and inspiring us to step into our greater selves and offer our own unique gifts back to the world. As Isis is the Great Mother of the Earth, Sothis is the Queen of the Sky.

In the place of air, the fourth card speaks of the ally who will help you find the wisdom, levity, and other attributes associated with the Sacred Ibis.
3. Isis ~ Holy Queen - Mother of Us All: Embodied Manifestation of Love

Isis will see into the heart of the matter that you have brought before her to dispel confusion and allow clarity to emerge. She will show you how to bridge the personal with the transpersonal. As above, so below. Isis is committed to renewal and regeneration. She assists you in seeing the both/and rather than the either/or in whatever situation you are involved with.

Isis is the pure clear essence of spirit embodied in matter. She is always with us on this journey as a loving supportive force through every transformation we undergo. Isis re-members us when we die the shaman’s death; she makes us whole again as she urges us forth into a new incarnation— a new way of being at a higher octave of consciousness.

She is the Queen of both Heaven and Earth and unfolds her multicolored wings to build a rainbow bridge of love between the worlds of form and formlessness.
The Desert: Fire
