Re: _AVALON LOUNGE_ Open 24 hours
TO: THE BARTENDER...I'll be right over, by hook or by crook.
When stocking the bar please ask the administration to provide non-alcoholic beer. My favorite is Kaliber, made by Guinness. Or another non-alcoholic beer that does not contain formaldehyde or formalin, as the beer manufacturers like to call it, Coors NA. Also, I would like to request my favorite treat. CHEERS How about a little Reggae Music too. LUCKY DUBE "Live in Concert 1992" SLAVE http://video.aol.com/video-detail/lu...id=VIDURVMUS03 (if link doesn't work first time, try, try, again....soon come) Are dogs allowed? Re: _AVALON LOUNGE_ Open 24 hours
See that's what I love about "The Lounge", it's a place where everybody can come into and just be their light hearted selves. Yeah it's now about 11 pages deep but it's 11 pages of fun and make believe. I would like to see more newcomers just come in and say hi, we don't bite! Maybe see a movie link posted every once in awhile so you can take a break from reading threads and posts and just sit back and watch a movie!

Re: _AVALON LOUNGE_ Open 24 hours
Have a drink and say this real fast! LOL!
Mr. See owned a saw. And Mr. Soar owned a seesaw. Now See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw Before Soar saw See, Which made Soar sore. Had Soar seen See's saw Before See sawed Soar's seesaw, See's saw would not have sawed Soar's seesaw. So See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw. But it was sad to see Soar so sore Just because See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw! |

eleven pages.. are you daft dan? on your bike u funky monkey!
Eleven pages of a forum is like reading three real life books.. these eyes aint what they used to be, complete obsessive internet abuse tends to take its toll. So lets just chill back, relax and let out world leaders do their jobs |

Re: _AVALON LOUNGE_ Open 24 hours
Ahh yes Jack and Dan,
Once when my oldest son was on the phone, I was playing my guitar. My son said "please mom, I'm on the phone can you turn it down." Now my youngest son plays drums in two bands, and we sometimes play this song in his studio together when I can get some time in with his busy schedule...here is the song I was asked to turn down and one a play with my youngest Metallica's finest... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otuCP...eature=related |

Re: _AVALON LOUNGE_ Open 24 hours
Thats awesome Brook, youre a very cool Mum indeed I've seen (some several times) Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Pantera, Slayer, Megadeth, W.A.S.P, Kreator, The Misfits and tons more but so far Metallica has eluded me.. the new album is a fantastic return to form, I've been working some of the riffs out on my guitar.. looking forward to the show!

Re: _AVALON LOUNGE_ Open 24 hours
Hello everyone, I just want to remind folks that the researchers worked really, really hard getting the library data together so folks can start downloading ASAP. We've no idea how much time before something happens where the net may go down, so this is a nice time to get that info stored onto your hard drive, discs or flash drive.
I also want to personally thank Don, Fritz, Joy, Tez, Miki, Henry and the many other researchers who assisted in this daunting endeavor for all of thier outstanding hard work. They have been working almost non-stop throughout all of December and up to now putting in hundreds of hours gathering this data, organizing it and preparing it to be downloaded. What they did will save lives but only if you, the member, take the time to access and download what they put together for you. Awesome job guys.

Re: _AVALON LOUNGE_ Open 24 hours
You know I've always wondered how or why some of you picked your usernames. I mean some are obvious but some are almost backwards Russian sounding, and some are funny. Mine is simple, Dan's my first name and my x-girlfriend and several others used to call me Dan the man, and I was born in 62.
Hmmm maybe I should've picked something like...Yeast....so I could rise to the occasion. or Flour...so I could sift through all the information, or Downer...because I try to never be one, hmmmm, LOL! |
