Question what can we expect next week ?

i'd like to ask everyone a question. if nothing happens on oct 7 or 14 ,or dec 10; no depression, ufo, 9.5 earthquake, united nations take over, nazi invasion or martial law by bush; elections proceed as usual,or the bailout works; can we go home and just say we lost it for a little while? i bought gold ,silver, food ,heaters, subscriptions to websites, preached countless hours in vain, everyone thinks i'm a lunatic. my interactions alone had to boost the economy. even though meltdown seems obvious, no one believes it's the premeditated plan of the rothchild gang of bankers(some of which could be your neighbors) to perpetrate global domination. i'm exhausted thinking about moving to peru or finding a safe zone because my wife and family say good luck going it alone ,make sure you leave me enough cash before you go. is it possible were just not seeing it right or something is missing from our life that we're in search of something else. that movie "network",i feel mad as hell and don't want to take anymore either, but i want to believe what i'm doing is real. right now i'm waiting for morning so i can read the next half past human update to see if i'm going camping or not. uhmm.... halloween, should i be paul revere or noah?

HAHAHAHA
Nice post !

You made me laugh. Thank you.

We are human man. We are not nuts.
We are attempting to find out and understand information and situations that
are possibilities that the general public would never even think about.
I think we just care a lot and are aware something strange is afoot.

*not to speak for others of course.

Peace,
Ampgod

I think its time to let go regardless by our own free will instead of being forced. It really feels like a taste of freedom.

One possibility is that if the LIBOR interbank rate does not go down
the Bank and Financial system could seize up.

Well, let's break this down:

Silver and gold is a good investment, no matter what happens.

Food, you can eat it, so no problem there.

Heaters are always good to have.

Website subscriptions...well better than spending it on porn. Consider it entertainment.

So it is really your relationships and reputation that concerns you. Perhaps your friends and family consider you a bit "lunatic", but would it be better if you were a raging alcoholic who hurt people?

If the worst doesn't happen (and we all pray that it does not happen) just tell everyone you were concerned about their well-being, but that it looks like the danger has passed. And go back to living your life.

I'm in the fortunate situation where my closest family would trust my insticts if it came down to that. However, my parents, sister and further family would not accept me ranting on about these subjects, so I'm keeping silent for now.

I try to secretly incorporate some ideas into them though. I use easier to "prove" or more likely subjects as a way to make them aware that not all must be like it seems.

I can understand how you feel ophiuchus, as this is matters not lightly taken by everyone.

Most people live in a bubble, and like small children with their balloons they may get upset if we pop them.

Most are still asleep and wont wake up no matter what transpires .... they dont want to see the truth. Most have thought me a lunatic for most of my life for thinking the same way so I wear my mask waiting for the other shoe to drop ..... it is about to drop and its almost time to drop the mask. I feel your pain with family ignoring your concerns .... most are brainwashed. Do what you feel is right in your heart .... you will probably find conflict from your head.
Most on this forum can see through the crap...... I have been reading updates on urbansurvival with the webbots for about 4 years now .... its the first thing I read everymorning. I have seen this date Oct 7th or over a year now and I dont think its a coincidence that everything is coming to a head right now globally ...... something will happen in the next couple of months but at least it wont effect us on an emotional level like it will the rest as we are more prepared for it.
Noah or Paul Revere.... you will know when the time comes whatever that event may be.

Rest easy my friend. You are amongst good company.
Time will reveal itself and we shall see what happens. Rest easy in that you took the time to investigate possibilities and prepare for them. Think of it as taking a rain coat along because the sky is overcast. If it rains, you will be dry.

And so will I

Don't you think it is better to listen to your heart and be prepared than to do nothing and say "I wish I had done something". The fact that we are all on this forum is proof enough you haven't lost your mind. If you knew me you probably would think I would be one of the last people to be a member of a forum talking about things like we are. Hang in there!

Whatever takes place next week will likely not surprise us compared to what we might have thought if we had not awakened. Does the current economic problems really surprise us. Does the horrific weather we have been experiencing world-wide surprise us. When you see how the magic trick is done, the magician loses his affect.

Something really jumped out at me:

"Understand, I very much doubt that this gimcrack legislation that has just been passed is going to help very much for very long. The reason is that the total amount of derivatives now in the marketplace probably exceeds $500 trillion. That's right, $500 TRILLION dollars, and at present all of it is, at best, salable only at a substantial discount."

Not sure where he got this number or how the derivatives market affects the average person. According to Henry Liu (Asia Times http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Global_.../JG22Dj06.html)

"Today the two companies (Fannie and Freddie) also hold or guarantee loans with face value of more than $5 trillion, about half the nation's mortgages. Market analysts estimate that the market value of this liability may be less than 50% unless the housing market recovers. In other words, the GSEs face a $3.5 trillion exposure to default if they cannot raise new funds in the credit market. "

So, to me, the 500 trillion number is suspect. Using the above numbers as an estimate, the total amount of mortgages in the US is about 10 million.

great post! as the day gets closer and closer and my preparations r complete i have taken a look back at how i got here and im asking myself the same questions. actually i basically went with my gut (which could be paranoia and neurosis) and dissapeared from my life to get out of new york city spending almost all my money into survival preparations! ive also been arguing till im blue in the face anyone who will listen that we are standing "on the precipice of a great crossroads" as little carmine would say. look at history though things happen! why does everyone think we r immune from change? also when the dam breaks, history can move very very fast.. we will know soon enough if we are a bunch of chicken little crazies.

Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings!!!
Check out about 2/3 down, just past the charts. Look for Table 1, TOP 25 COMMERCIAL BANKS AND TRUST COMPANIES IN DERIVATIVES. Numbers are in millions of dollars, so top line says J. P. Morgan has $1.4 trillion in assets and $90 Trillion (with a T!) in derivatives, which are packages of debt. Which Warren Buffet has decried for years. About 180 trillion in the top few banks. Draw your own conclusions.

BTW, the OCC on the document is for “Office of the Comptroller of the Currency,” official US government: http://www.occ.treas.gov/

A lot of people went into Prepper overload for Y2K. When the date came and past, due to the unstinting efforts of many well funded technology projects which were tediously boring, hard work but ultimately well executed, the problems with the Y2K computer bug did not show up.

Many saw, there were long lines at the local hardware stores for people returning generators and the like!

However, you will all do well to be prepared for some inconveniences, since even the most skeptical among us have observed some of mother natures recent outbursts (man made or not is irrelevant) and the trouble they can cause for even "civilized" places.

You need to be prepared for these things. The more high tech you are - the more you need to prepare.

Camping trips are good preparation - especially if you use them as practise runs. If your family dont know or want to know about this stuff, then dont tell them - but take a fun camping trip!

There is a forum for all this stuff here: http://projectavalon.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=50

A..

Deep in our hearts we in the capitalist world want a new reality, away from bills and the perils of too much work with very little compensation. The funny thing is that in other countries those with very little comforts are dreaming to escape their reality, dreaming the capitalist dream that we want to escape from. Doom and gloom is a part of these people realities and even if they have to eat garbage and drink polluted water they learn to survive.
We can take a few lessons from these people of the real doom and gloom societies. Yes I want my life to be better but here's where the problem begins, as it ends for me it begins for another. My hope for a better tomorrow emcompasses the whole of the globe for who a my to complain about my world, when so many others have it much worse. I want our world to change for the better for all. Maybe doom and gloom has been knocking at our door for a long time we are just to blind to see it. Lets recreate this gloomish reality work day by day to make it a better world for all. Kiss your children, parents, friends tell them how much you love them. Make your world a better place you can start today.
