So Long, Farewell, etc. Part 2
MANIFESTO
I’m for a life around the corner That takes you by surprise That comes leaves all you need And more besides I am for a life and time by numbers Blast in fast 'n' low Add ’m up, account for luck You never know I am into friendship and plain sailing Through frenzied ports o' call O shake the hand to beat the band With love is all Or nothing to the man who wants tomorrow There's one in every town A crazy guy, he'd rather die Than be tied down I am for the man who drives the hammer To rock you 'til the grave His power drill shocks A million miles away I am for the revolution's coming I don't know where she's been For those who dare because it's there I know I've seen Now and then I've suffered imperfection I've studied marble flaws And faces drawn pale and worn By many tears I am that I am from out of nowhere to fight without a cause Roots strain against the grain With brute force you'd better Hold out when you're in doubt Question what you see And when you find an answer Bring it home to me. As my first attempt to say goodbye to those I love & respect, has been polluted by some members who used it as an opportunity to start a fight with eachother,() I try again, here. With regards, LORD TRANCOSO |

I am very sad we have arrived at this point of time Trancoso and words are failing me at the moment. I wish I could hold the whole family together as I already am missing many here . When PA closes I will miss some more. I wish you well on the path you now choose to take . Nothing happens by chance so I can only trust it's for a higher good. Thank you for your presence in PA and the many contributions you made. The sparks of Light that we all are made the journey an awesome one . Take care Love and blessings from me mudra |

Re: So Long, Farewell, etc. Part 2
I feel a great sadness too that it has come to this.
I realize that nothing is stationary. God says in the form of a sage "Love my uncertainty" To the good I have learned much here from friends, too many to mention and some will continue to be friends. I have felt really at home here. Beren's words will be with me forever. "Love love and then see what happens" Chris Namaste |

Re: So Long, Farewell, etc. Part 2
i will miss your posts trancoso ... as i will miss everyone's energy here ... all truth seekers ... all free thinkers ... saddens me that the momentum of what we had here ... had to conclude ... for whatever reasons ... yet i know ... all things are circular ... no beginning and no end ... only change ... i don't know why really ... but i cannot locate the pull to swim over to the new ... guess my experience at avalon ... is now complete ... i have learned so much from all of you ... will always cherish the friends i have made here ... have always called this home ... everyone take care of yourselves upon your journeys ... so long yes ... perhaps until such time we meet once again ... be well ... be love ... be you ... always ... blessings ... from my heart to yours ... fe |

Re: So Long, Farewell, etc. Part 2
As I sit here with a lump in my throat and having difficulty in seeing the words I'm typing, I wonder why it is that we must part. I can recall the time when as a child, the holidays had come to an end and I had to leave my new found friends - possibly to never see them again.
I'm having that same feeling again now as I read these messages. So, I invite everyone to join me in the Avalon Lounge for one last knees-up, a bit of hanky panky under the tables, and not a few too many fruity drinks with umbrellas in. Let's make this sad time as happy as we can. Cheerio and love to all, Brian |

Re: So Long, Farewell, etc. Part 2
I, to, feel so sad at leaving here again! I had pulled away for awhile only to come back to utter chaos!
This is still the nicest place, the layout, all my friends, the familiar, I guess. I have so many sweet memories of our interactions, our get-togethers, our laughs, our cries, our passion!! I appreciated Bill and Kerry's forsight in starting this forum. When I arrived, they were nowhere to be seen, so we all just got on with it, and it was great, no great dramas and really, no one being banned! I was greatly disturbed at Kerry and Bill's treatment of Steven Greer, and to me it is a question mark to me as to their integrity. Caused me to question my involvement on their forums. Im over at the other place now, but my enthusiasm is not there. Im just hanging round the edges, looking. I guess one reaches the stage when they are full up of knowledge, of opinions, of interacting! Maybe it comes back, I don't know, time will tell! Maybe its just time to be 'doing' not talking about doing, or even just being. Maybe its time to put our money where our mouth is so to speak, and just live it! Walk the Talk. There is a definite feeling of grief, leaving here. I will hang in here till they finally pull the plug. I have met some great people here, they just 'shine'. Thank you for all you kindnesses, all your interactions with me. Love you All Carmen |

Re: So Long, Farewell, etc. Part 2
Thank you all, for your kind replies.
I'll be posting at the 'Mists'. It's gonna take a while to build it up, but we're all equal there, everybody treats eachother with respect, & the air that you breath is not that of a virtual, semi-religious cult. At the end of the day I have to be able to look myself into the eyes. That's all that counts. |

Re: So Long, Farewell, etc. Part 2
Thanks, Dolphin, you are right of course. The only constant is 'change'. I can be quite stubborn!! Sometimes it takes quite a bit of kicking and screaming, before I can be dragged on to the 'new'!!!!!!:w ink2: I eventually cope with changes Im on both the other forums. Havent really gotten involved yet though. Lots of new young ones on the new forum. Maybe its time for the new guard. The Misty forum is nice and friendly with lots of familiar names. Oh well! It will all settle down again, I guess. Thanks for your message

Like everyone else who is leaving this Forum after almost two years it certainly causes some heartacheI've enjoyed the new friends I've met on this Forum...WaitingintheWings, Exchanger, P4Blo, Mudra, Wormhole, Mizar, Spiritelemental, Brinty and numerous others. Things started falling apart months ago when all the mudslinging began however the journey doesn't end with this Project Avalon...we can either move into the Mists (where I have joined under the name Jenetta) or we can trot over to the Avalon2 Forum. My very best wishes to all of you and hope to see you in the Mists! __________________________________________________ ___ To see a World in a grain of sand And Heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour...........William Blake |
