Re: Amazing new moon footage from JAXA/NASA
A few weeks or a month ago I saw a clip on the evening news showing a rocket hitting the moon (looking for traces of water).
The rocket supposedly had a camera attached to it and filmed the whole event until impact. The thing that raised my skeptism was the footage. As the rocket neared the surface of the moon the craters remained the same size. If you are approaching a crater the size of the Grand Canyon wouldn’t the crater appear much bigger as it gets closer? The footage I saw on the news looked like a picture being zoomed in and when it impacted the crater it was basically the same size as it was when it was being viewed in orbit. I think they are either getting sloppy with their tricks or more arrogant; I’m sure they think the masses will not believe or care. Peace |
