Here is a link to a excellent lecture on technology and privacy (or the increasing lack thereof).
Very informative, and also very disturbing. I know I learned some new things... ![]() http://www.documentary24.com/privacy...-over-it--317/ . |

Well then I guess the only solution is to upload/backload as much data as you can get a hold of... none of it has to be about you or yours!!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And if any of it is your information switch what your doing, do something else... please don't act powerless. Oh and if you can't take the battery out of your ipod ... than don't buy it!!!!!!!!! If you buy it than you are agreeing to their terms and conditions of their product... Support that which you want to empower. |

Information is power, is it not? I found I learned a lot from this lecture, it was an eye-opener. It did not make me feel powerless, just more aware.

I respectfully say it is not. Information, i.e., knowledge, is not power. It is what you do with what you know that counts. Information without action and doing is powerless.

I simply posted the link to the lecture thinking others on this forum might be interested in watching it. I wasn't expecting to get into debates or having to clarify at every turn. . |

My apologies. Sometimes I take things too literally. So when you asked "... is it not?'" I responded. I'll work on that.

While certainly not my reference of choice...from Wikipedia:
A rhetorical question is a figure of speech in the form of a question posed for its persuasive effect without the expectation of a reply (ex: "Why me?") Rhetorical questions encourage the listener to think about what the (often obvious) answer to the question must be. Having grown up surrounded by them, I suspect that as a lawyer, you already know this. *L* ![]() . |
