Default Prepare Now for Empty Store Shelves and Soviet-style Food Shortages

Here is a copy of an email I received from a company I've done business with:

_______________________________________________

Prepare now for empty store shelves and Soviet-style food shortages...

New Socialist Policies Will Eventually Create Massive Food Shortages!

***********************************************

Shortages and empty shelves will spread fear and panic.

International bankers and power brokers have engineered the current crisis to create a new currency and a new "world bank" to act as savior.

But we've only seen the beginning.

Their next engineered crisis will be on a scale never before seen in modern times.

Shortages and empty shelves will spread fear and panic across the land.

The insiders have discovered that they must control two things to seize total power. Phase one is a one world currency... which we are currently being prepared to accept.

Phase two of their insidious plan is to take complete control of our food supplies. Get the details at: www.FoodShortageUSA.com

Check it out

P.S. If you have ever wanted to produce your own "cheaper than dirt" survival food this is going to be the most important message you will ever read.

The website again is:
www.FoodShortageUSA.com

If we are prepared, the powers that be have no control over us. We're in control...

I've learned to disregard anything that I read in an email, especially sensationalist pieces like this.

It also has that predictable "OMG SOCIALISM!" tone to it, which doesn't help its' credibility.

Thanks, Seashore, for sharing this.

Although it was sent out to promote the man's products, I find it "right on" and that it represents one of our bigger hurdles for the coming months.

Anyone who takes the time to go to the link should get the free e-book offered at Thanksgiving on the Pilgrim's survival gardens; it is still available and very interesting to read.

Mille grazie!

PS to all skeptics:
I was in the States around Easter this year, back and forth all over NC, after not having been "home" for 7 years and I was shocked by what I saw... I FELT that the atmosphere there was much what I have imagined "old russia" to have been like... It was the first time in my life that I found food costing more "there" than here in Italy.... Huge shopping complexes mostly empty (empty stores and few shoppers) and most of the people I saw were so pitiful looking. What really struck me worst were the huge areas of cleared land (especially around the Triad Airport Area)...such a shame. It just didn't feel like "home" anymore. Maybe you all don't notice so much what goes on in your area, since you have been used to this kind of "development", but I was quite disturbed by it. No matter how hard I try, I just can't brush it all off, because I feel that I have lost something very dear... a place I thought that some day I would return to, a place I used to call "home". God bless you all, and heads up!

Peace and Good Will!

You know, I've thought a lot about people earning money by selling products in the context of situations that are scary.

We all have to use our discernment when reacting to advertisements. None of us wants to be taken advantage of and none of us wants to be duped...

I shared this email which included a link to a commercial website out of love for my fellow humans. I think many people are simply not doing anything to prepare for what may be in store for us. I'm trying to nudge people. I'm trying to facilitate. Trying to make it a little easier to get started...

There is nothing wrong with people selling products. We all have to make a living...

Thanks for your appreciation...

Soviet Style? What exactly makes a food shortage a Soviet Food Shortage? Sounds like a scene from Red Dawn, calm down it is going to be OK.

Do you follow what's going on in the news?

It's talking about the coming of the New World Order.

"'socialist policies' will cause food shortages" (this is absurd)

i see the word 'socialist' bandyied around a lot on this and other forums. it seems to be equated with 'satanism', or something like that. americans even commonly refer to the democrats as 'socialist'.
it's really clear that most americans have no idea what 'socialism' means.

the highest standard of living is not enjoyed by americans, but by the swedes and norwegians, who have socialist governments.

Regardless of what term is used, the New World Order is what we have to deal with. The term used is not important and will get us tangled up in a useless argument.

That's what gets my goat every time.

Socialism isn't perfect but to see it bandied about in the same breath as satanism? That's just absurd.

No need for politics on this thread.

Take it or leave it. Take responsibility for yourself or not. It's your choice to ignore or to take action.

I think that food shortages (created by disruptions to the normal distribution channels) are a very likely feature of the future array of inconveniences to beset many people.

It will probably be a major catalyst to awaken the remainder of the sleepers. Hunger is pretty hard to ignore.

It is my sincere hope that at least one person benefits from the resources on this thread. If that happens, it's worth the effort.

I know I could if I could just push myself to stock up on a few months of food in advance. Always some kind of mental block getting in my way.

I used this vendor to purchase their Survival Seed Bank.

These are the other things I've purchased for myself and for each of my two grown sons (because they were not going to do it for themselves):
  1. Nutrition Case from www.efoodsdirect.com
  2. Berkey Light water filter system from www.berkeyfilters.com
  3. Box of Allimax 100% Allicin capsules (pathogen destroyer) from www.allicin-garlic-extract.com
  4. Nature's Way Suma Root capsules (for radiation sickness) from www.vitacost.com

Thanks Seashore,

It never hurts to be prepared and I appreciate the heads up. I have already stocked up and started a garden. As far as Russia is concerned over 50% of Russian people have gardens and eat better than most of the USA. Maybe we should take some lessons from them.

I agree with Cosmic and Seashore, all you need to do is look around you and the prudent thing to do is stock up enough to what you feel is sufficient and then forget about it all and live your life.

I feel that september is a time of concern, but also know there are many champions of light in the world that will step up when times get tough. It's up to all of us to stay focused in great times of need and stay positive for the future and those that need direction.

Those kits looked good until I saw the prices for them. Yikes!

I would think that buying in bulk at Costco would be just as effective and probably cheaper in the long run. I'd stock up on stuff like soup, etc.

Thanks for giving me an idea.

So what have these champions of the light been doing all this time, people have been living through hell with starvation and wars. Just look at what has been happening in Africa. Seems to me they have been having it tough for a long time. Maybe these champions only look after the western world???
If there are any champions out there I think they couldn't care less about what happens to us or anyone else.

ive just had to go through hoops to get a time capsule of heirloom seeds form survivalistseeds.com. they wont ship outside of the usa so i had to get someone to order them through their parents in the usa, ship them on to canada , then ill get them soon(hopefully).. im also buying loads of regualr hybrid seeds from the supermarkets and garden centres.. i have 2x 60ltr, 2x30 litre, 2x20litre,2x10 litre and 2x3litre airtight watertight tubs(un approved, ironically).. i still have not got any food stocks in palce yet.. i think i got until autumn to get the majority of it in whilst its cheap.. i think hyperinfaltion will be the problem at first rather than suply of food..

I still have a load of tins left from the last wave of get supplies from before christmas... And my survival kit is gathering dust too unused Fear...

I do have a good survival handbook and a wild food book which is all I plan to stock up on until the fan switch is reached for.

The other option is to just live off light/air which with the poisoned food chain as it seems to be heading is quite a tempting option if I didn't like food so much

My brother is growing a small garden. I will think about asking him if he would mind sharing it since I live in a place where growing a garden isn't possible.

Another alternative is to turn my balcony into a mini-garden. That might be tough unless I can find a way to keep the pigeons away from it. If anyone has helpful links, do forward them. I'm not sure what I could grow in late June that could be ready before the fall. Worried that I missed the bus on this.

You could grow some potatoes in buckets or black plastic growing bags or....
You could save some potatoe eyes whenever you cook some. Just cut off
pieces with eye(s) and dry them on a saucer.
