Compassion

Compassion is the ultimate and most meaningful embodiment of emotional maturity. It is through compassion that a person achieves the highest peak and deepest reach in his or her search for self-fulfillment.

Compassion is not sentiment but is making justice and doing works of mercy. Compassion is not a moral commandment but a flow and overflow of the fullest human and divine energies.

Compassion is a human emotion prompted by the pain of others. More vigorous than empathy, the feeling commonly gives rise to an active desire to alleviate another's suffering.

Compassion is one of those necessary ingredients to elevate the suffering we as humanity must start exercising....if we could lose the egos long enough to understand that it would ease some of the suffering and create a road to healing...a road that this world is in desperate need of..the healing would begin....
