Financial crisis must be 'tackled globally' oct 24th
http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/world/2...nt_7135637.htm
A coordinated global response is needed to reform the international financial system in order to overcome the economic downturn, and China's role is crucial in the process, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said Thursday. "The handling of the (global financial) crisis has demonstrated that we need more and better long-term coordination to ensure transparency and confidence in the market," he said. Barroso is in Beijing to attend the two-day 7th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), which begins today. "Apart from national responsibilities, we also have to improve the regional supervision capability and the global system," he said while addressing the National School of Administration (NSA). cont.on link above. Could this be a start to a global world currency-i dunno;possibilities of a NWO are everywhere. http://news.google.co.uk/nwshp?tab=wn&ned=uk&topic=w Last edited by Antaletriangle; 10-24-2008 at 12:34 AM. |

Of course it needs to be handled globally, its a global issue and they will handle it, but its going to be painful, for everybody and our living standards are going to come down.
Still, it isn't "the end" like some of you folks are predicting. Anyways, to get back to the points, pretty much every bank in the world is no entwined with this **** and since most of the wealth that has been created in the last 15 years is due to cooking the books, untangling the mess (or preventing it from being untangled) needs to be come with all the players on hand. Its complicated but it can be done. |

For a global problem, we need a global solution.
Does anyone else get the feeling that this 'recession' is not going to get as bad as everyone is anticipating? ... This smells like a plan. |
