Hi all I just read an article on fourwinds10 website that just knocked me off my chair!

The USA just sent $800. BILLION AMEROS to China "yes AMERO CURRENCY NOT DOLLARS" to pay off debt. Is the North American Union just around the corner?

It sounds like a very feasible option as soon as the dollar crumbles... But the dollar has to collapse totally or people won't accept it. Perhaps that's why they wanted to push through that 700 billion.... The dollar is on it's knees. Call it a shot to the back of the neck. Thank your congress...

Let us from Europe warn you. If it's like the euro then stuff gets about 10 % to 20 % more expensive as soon as it's introduced. Some products actually seemed to double in prices.

This is what it looks like to me.

That a private company has taken the opportunity like Norfed (now called the Liberty
Dollar) to mint some semi precious and precious (silver) coins. That does not mean it
is issued by anyone other that the mint or marketing company that is selling them.

Sunshine mint in Idaho has minted coins for years as long as someone paid them for
doing it. These coins seem to be that type of commodity, and do not appear to represent
any country or corporate nation state.

This is my take also. They look like 'collector items' or something..

On another note, one thing I found sort of scary...I had joked to some friends about how this problem in the US was going to be used to usher in the Amero.. and they said it sounded like a good idea and, hey it'll be just like the Euro.. Anyway I wasn't too happy to hear that after spending so much time watching docs like freedom to fascism...

Anyway.. ya I found that reaction disturbing.. !

I guess part of the Avalon goal is to be centered, and prepared for whatever happens though so.. onwards

the amero is real but the coins are just a private minting by a coin maker.. they are what he thinks they might look like.. they are not treasury coins

It's some economists play thing. And part of a "Future for america" plan. Not sure how influential that think tank is but its more than just a gimmick.

Offcourse the problem is not so much that it's the amero, its more that it's not the dollar. Even if americans all switched to the euro we'd be one step closer to a global currency.

I don't see anything wrong with that. The face value of a currency is always higher than the material it's made of. How much does it cost to print a 1000 Swiss Franc banknote? Or a fifty dollar bill? Or a 1 pound coin? Do we have 2 pound coins yet?

Also you need to take into consideration how many Ameros = 1 US$

Once again, the face value of currencies are higher than the material they are made of except perhaps in some African countries and when the Italian Lira was on the go- and the good old English ha'penny or half p as it became when decimal currency was brought in in the UK.

It isn't the material that has the value, it's the neccessity of having the 'product' that gives the value - basic marketing strategy. The material value of paper is very low in comparison to the cost of a writing pad.

I don't see any conspiracy theories about writing pads.

Now forging bank notes or forging coins, that's another question, but as we don't have any evidence to suggest this, we can't really say anything about it.

If the American government wants to produce a silver coin with a face value of 100 Ameros (once again, how much is 100 Ameros?) they can, as can any country wishing to produce currency. Look at the Euro, or decimalization in the UK, even the Real over here in Brazil which is another new currency...

I see nothing out of the ordinary in this aspect. Now, shipping this currency to China to pay off national debt before it has even been declared legal tender does seem to be strange, but that's another story...
