Discovery Channel: MUFON UFO Special

Anyone catch the MUFON special on Discovery lastnight? I thought it was one of the better UFO documentaries that I've seen in a long time. I hope they put out more like that. It was very detailed and very well produced. It aired Monday, October 27th.

Did the show have the typical debunkers on it??

If yes, then maybe I might consider thinking on possibly watching it.

The show covered a story in Lafeyette where 4 men were fishing. One of the men (I forget his name) left the spot that they were fishing to go back to the truck to get something. As he was walking he looked across the field and saw 3 orange orbs. After a few minutes he ran back to the other 3 men to tell them about it. When he got back to them next to the creek the orbs were hovering directly above them and they observed them for 10 to 15 minutes.

The interesting thing about it was that according to the other 3 men, before they saw the orbs, they sent one of the guys to go look for the first guy that went back to the truck. To them, they claimed he had been gone for almost 3 hours. To the guy that went to the truck it felt as if he was only gone for 15 to 20 minutes. (One of those lost time scenarios)

Anyway, after observing the orbs the first guy and his son went home. Shortly after getting home the guy's dogs were going nuts and ran out to the backyard and slightly into the nearby woods behind his house. As he went to get his dogs he was walking and to his total surprise he encountered a small being (approx 3ft tall) just standing there looking at him. He was only 3 feet away. He thought he was going to be killed and was so scared he couldn't move. He also mentioned that after a few moments a feeling of total peace came over him. Then, one of his dogs with it's hair standing straight up from head to tail approached the being. When the dog got too close the being vanished.

For a long time the guy didn't tell anyone about the being he encountered and the incident at the creek with the to men and his son was kep quiet for awhile. But the incident haunted this man for quite sometime. He finally couldn't keep it hidden anymore and reported it to MUFON. Then the investigation began.

The investigation was extremely thurough. MUFON personel went in and did all the regular interview stuff, toured the scene, brought in animation specialists as well as a psycologist and did hypnosis. Boy did they put him through the wringer! He took a polygraph with mixed results.

The hypnosis showed that he had been taken aboard a craft were he encountered some very tall beings. The beings told him that they were his guardians and that the small being earlier was one of their children.

They also covered the effects that it had on the family. How it almost caused them to divorce as well as the problems they faced within the community.

All said and done, the MUFON team still seemed convinced that this was a genuine account. I'm sure it will air again. Check your listing.
