I smoked it for friends and family as well as my self. 6 days of free diving on a panga. so you see I do have a heart. and I do respect all living creatures. even plants. thanks for asking... I have quite a collection of shells abalone, scallops, snail, different verities and a few that would be considered as trophies. my favorites is lobster diving at the channel islands. hands only no tickle sticks or nets. it not so easy. but it sure is fun. and love to eat lobster. and abalone.I did notice you were some what local. Hiya dagon,

I hope I didn't say anything to make you think I thought you were heartless. No way. The post I responded to is one of the first I have read from you so I never had any preconceived notions of you. I do apologize if something I said came off that way. That was never my intent. In fact, I really enjoyed hearing about your life so close to the sea. And your posts seem to reflect you are definitely a being with love in your soul.

Now that that's out of the way.... My best friend is from Ft. Bragg in Mendo and I absolutely love it up there. Very peaceful and gorgeous. I also spent many a summer in the Sea of Cortez in Baja. Other than that just normal, same old, same old, Huntington, Laguna, Newport Beaches for me. I have never been diving but have always wanted to learn and fishing by hand was something that sounded very interesting. I've only fished with a pole and that can only be so interesting and seemed a little barbaric to me.

To me it sounds like you and the sea and all her life are in harmony. You seem to truly appreciate that relationship and respect it. I think that's a beautiful thing. It just intrigued me to hear about you and the sea so I had to ask questions. Thank you for sharing. If you ever have any pictures to share, I would love seeing any you have. I am a sucker for the ocean and all her beauty. Thanks again for sharing.

I feel exactly the same but I do eat meat.
Eating meat doesn't mean I disrespect other animals, I thank them for the food they have provided me and am happy for the life they got to live.
You think every soul that visits this plane chooses to only live a life free of pain? We choose to live lives of good and bad to experience all sides of everything.

Wow, very interesting uses of shells. I never realized the level of toxicity. I have much to learn. I never knew that about the greenling fish either. Learn something new every day. Thank you for giving me some new areas to explore.

krystal, you catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar. Ok maybe a bad thing to say in a vegetarian related thread but the point is still valid. You can't force people to believe as you do by being snippy and acting like because we do not do as you do that we are less than. That makes me want to ignore it. Force is not the way. Share resources, experiences, links, stories, anything positive but please do not tell us we are all evil and we must do what you do. That's my only issue here.

I doubt it very much you feel the same as someone who doesn't buy their food from a morgue or uses their body as a cemetery that cannot be possible....

Do some research on Voodoo and witchcraft etc.... why do you think they sacrifice animals, use eggs and chickens in their rituals to attract positive power????? It doesn't take much intelligence to figure those simple things out... From a totally different angle, carrying death within you and hatred can only attract evil not good and cause fear in your lives.

Actually I live in a community where we plant our own veggies and share with others, we do not use pesticides and when we buy rice etc we buy organic, such as organic soya milk which is not GMO. etc. Also we have solar power and do not use energy from outside but solely from the sun... yes in harmony with our environment.

After seeing the comment below, I think you nailed it, dagon. I had such high hopes I was going to learn something new. There's still hope I suppose.

Not all witches sacrifice animals. I can only speak on witchcraft because I have researched it well. And it does no good to stereotype a whole group of people. I still don't see why you are all for eating plants but seem to regard them as less than animals. I think this whole planet has been created equal, heck the universe for that matter.

That's a great step. I am taking steps to do the very same. I think many of us are. I think most of us here do what we can and are always looking to see what ways we can improve and live more harmoniously with the planet at large. Check out many of the other threads on these very topics.

Yes, now you are really showing your level, so do not compare yourself with me or other Noble Beings!

Can you tell me who all these Noble Beings are? What you believe constitutes a Noble Being as you see it please?

Yes, sure "Noble Beings" are those who live a Noble Life with love and respect for all living beings those who have an awake and aware conscious of love and kindness for every living being including an insect as All Lives are Precious... those who respect their body as the temple of God or Higher power whatever one wants to call it.

So know you're calling me stupid.

The food I eat is not killed to be used in a ritual so you can not compare it to voodoo etc.

Hatred?? How do I carry that? Are you saying the animal I eat hates me?
Maybe that mushroom you just ate hates you for killing it and it's brothers and sisters?

Quote:
carrying death within you
Once the soul has left a body the body is nothing more than organic matter.
You're also carry rotting organic food inside your body.

You are a very opinionated person, maybe it would do you good to look outside of the little box you have created (or more likely was created for you) once in a while, maybe then you might realise that actually you know nothing.

Ever thought that maybe this dimension is the way it is for a reason? Is it right for you to try and change it? You are not the only soul on this planet so please don't try to force your views on others, if you want a dimension that runs exactly the way you wish then please leave this one and join that one. But don't forget you choose to come here for a lesson, hope you learn it.

Oh yea using religion to try and scare people won't work here, if you look around you will see that most people are not fooled by the bible

Thank you. So basically the only difference between you and I is that I eat meat (maybe once a week) and have not yet started to grow my own food so therefore I am not a "Noble Being" living a "Noble Life"?

hey dagon, you didn't kill an animal or the thread even if you did choke the monkey.
I am getting the luls on the" noble being " dia(rea) tribe. and really there is no place for soya, except maybe fermented,( hmmm, that prolly means its got some animals growing on it) even if it is GMO free, I'm sure even meat is better for you .
Human caused global warming? Most noble beings know that is a crock. Just another thing to make us feel bad. Planets further from the sun than earth are also heating up, we must be REALLY bad to be able to do that....

I was a vegetarian for 20 years. I'm not anymore, it's called a choice thing, we still do have one.
Vegans tend to come to parties and annoy the other humans by complaining there is yogurt in the chocolate cake. More for us...
