We need more people like you...trainedobserver. I especially like your signature quotation. We are easily led astray...aren't we? I don't trust the mainstream or the fringe. Perhaps the fringe of the mainstream is a good place to search for truth...if you know what I mean.

Perhaps looking closely at university professors, scientists, or clergy who have been recently fired for unorthodox views might yield interesting results. You know...respected intellectuals who venture a bit too far away from the herd!
